Cruz Beckham shares cryptic post about 'telling the truth' amid rumoured family feud
The alleged feud between the Beckham family is heating up, if Instagram is anything to go by. This weekend, Cruz Beckham took to his Story to share a cryptic post about "telling the truth", it comes amid rising fan speculation that there's a rift between the Beckhams, which has slowly bubbled since Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham tied the knot in 2022. Not sure what the heck we're talking about? Head here for our full debrief on the rumoured Beckham family feud, or for the TLDR version: the apparent feud began when Romeo Beckham started dating an alleged ex-girlfriend of Brooklyn's. Although it was later shut down that there was any romantic crossover, the rumoured feud was fired up further when Brooklyn and Nicola didn't attend David Beckham's 50th birthday bash earlier this year. All caught up? Great. So, back to Cruz's cryptic post. "It takes 43 muscles in your face to frown, and 17 to smile," he wrote on his Story. "Be kind and tell the truth." There's a lot to unpack there, especially when paired with another Instagram Story the 20-year-old shared just days before. "I love my family, I love you guys more than anything," he wrote alongside a photo of the Beckham family. "Mum and dad you gave us life and cared for us no matter what," he went on. "I cannot tell you how blessed we all are to have you in our lives." That post in itself might not seem too questionable, but it follows a post on Brooklyn's own Instagram in which he praises his wife in much the same way. "My whole world, I will love you forever," he wrote in a caption of himself and Nicola riding a motorbike. "I always choose you baby, you're the most amazing person I know, me and you forever baby." Fans had plenty to say in the comments section, further pointing to the alleged rift between the Beckham family. "Don't forget your beautiful parents who will always love you unconditionally," one person wrote, as another shared: "You don't have to choose." Elsewhere in the comments section, another fan added, "It's nice to see two young couple honouring their vows and minding their own lives." According to a source who spoke to Metro, Victoria Beckham is 'devastated' about the apparent drama but hopes it will be resolved soon. "Victoria hates to think about her family being so divided, especially with it involving one of her children," the source said. "She's hoping Brooklyn will come around and see things for what they are. They've always been a close-knit family."

NFL analyst makes wild claim about Commanders-Eagles' NFC Championship game
"The Commanders know they are going to get their asses kicked today." Mike Florio, host of Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports, told a story Friday morning. Florio began, "The day of the NFC Championship (January 26, 2025), someone I know who is very well plugged in, said, 'The Commanders know they are going to get their asses kicked today, and they are just kinda bracing for it.'" Advertisement Florio continued on air with the story, saying that his inside source told him that day prior to the beginning of the NFC title game in Philly, "I know people in the building. They know what is coming." The longtime show host asserted that he responded to his good friend, saying perhaps the Commanders' brass is simply preparing for the worst, if it were to occur. He said his source insisted, "No, they know the Eagles are dramatically better than they are, and it's not happening for them today. And they know it." Florio told the story in the context of his contention Friday (some four months later) that, "I think the gap is just too big. It's too big for one offseason. This is something that is a multi-year effort to try to catch and surpass the Eagles." Using the analogy of the NBA playoffs some 35 years ago, Florio said this gap between the Eagles and Commanders reminded him of how the Chicago Bulls had to work multiple years to catch and surpass the Detroit Pistons. Those old enough to recall remember how Michael Jordan and the Bulls lost three consecutive years in the playoffs to the Detroit Pistons. In 1988, it was the Eastern Conference semifinals, followed by consecutive years (1989 & 1990) when the Bulls fell to the Pistons in the Eastern Conference finals, before winning six of the next eight NBA championships. Can the Commanders overtake the Eagles? Florio was doubtful, saying, "It's going to take multiple years, and even then, it may not happen." Advertisement Concluding the segment, Florio suggested, "Josh Sweat (DE) is gone, Milton Williams (DT) is gone, but the Eagles are still the Eagles." Well, Florio is rather confident the Eagles will remain atop the NFC East for the next few years. After all, quarterback Jalen Hurts is still quite young, and the roster is full of talented players across the depth chart. As per the conversation in particular? Well, we don't have the "source" on record that day claiming the Commanders knew and were bracing for a beatdown. We do know the Eagles did win that matchup against the Commanders 55-23. Florio does insist this is how it went down that day between him and his source, who reportedly claimed he had access to inside the Commanders. Yet, isn't it also true that in the NFC East, no team has repeated as division champions since the Eagles won the NFC East four consecutive seasons from 2001 through 2004? Advertisement It's important to note that the Commanders did beat the Eagles in Week 16. How 'Superman' actor David Corenswet ate and trained to get buff for the movie, according to his personal trainer
David Corenswet is playing the lead role in "Superman: Legacy." His trainer told Business Insider they worked together for months to make Corenswet buff, but not too ripped. During the bulking phase, he consumed up to 4,500 calories a day, focusing on whole, unprocessed foods. The next actor to play Superman, David Corenswet, put on 40 pounds to play one of Hollywood's most iconic roles, his personal trainer told Business Insider. Paolo Mascitti said the goal when preparing Corenswet for "Superman: Legacy," which is out in July, was to build muscle mass and size rather than get super-shredded. He needed to look "more like a farm boy than a complete bodybuilder," he added, which involved eating up to 4,500 calories per day of whole foods with the occasional treat. To achieve this look, they trained five to six days a week starting in July 2023. Although it was challenging to stick to their training schedule once filming was underway in March 2024, they did what they could. "He had a very, very good attitude and he worked really hard," Mascitti said. Corenswet was also very relaxed, Mascitti added: "He listens to jazz when he works out." Mascitti shared the workout and nutrition plan he used to get Corenswet Superman -ready. Corenswet did compound exercises that got progressively harder Corenswet followed a push-pull-legs split: meaning they focused on "push" exercises, such as bench presses, one day, and "pull" exercises, such as pull-ups, the next. On day three, they'd do leg exercises like squats, then restart the cycle. They trained with progressive overload — gradually increasing the weights and reps to keep challenging Corenswet's body— and focused on compound movements (multi-joint exercises, like shoulder presses) plus some isolation exercises (such as bicep curls). The rep range varied but usually was between six and 12, occasionally going up to 15 or 20 reps on isolation exercises, such as cable flies, to fatigue the muscles at the end of each workout, Mascitti said. While the goal was mostly to gain size, Corenswet needed to be strong and fit for the physically demanding role. They also did a lot of core work to support Corenswet when he did stunts and harness work. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Superman (@superman) Corenswet ate 4,500 calories of mostly whole foods daily Corenswet gradually built up to eating 4,500 calories per day to build muscle without putting on too much fat. He dropped to a slight calorie deficit of around 3,500 calories a day as filming approached, to shed some body fat. Corenswet mostly ate whole foods as the quality of calories was as much a priority as the quantity. His high-protein diet was split like this: 50% carbs, 30% protein, and 20% fat, Mascitti said. He aimed to eat 0.75 grams to one gram of protein per pound of body weight daily. This mostly came from eggs, dairy, chicken, red meat, fish, and whey protein spread out over the day. His carb sources were mostly rice, oats, sweet potatoes, and vegetables. The diet wasn't too restrictive, though, and Corenswet also ate French toast and waffles from time to time. "He loves cereal, that's his kryptonite," Mascitti said. Corenswet mostly ate higher-carb meals before workouts for energy. The fat sources were mostly olive oil, avocado, and seeds. An average breakfast, for example, was six egg whites, two whole eggs, 1.5 to two cups of oatmeal, some berries, Greek yogurt with almonds, and a protein shake. The rest of his meals (he ate seven times a day) might have consisted of rice and a protein source like beef, chicken, turkey, or fish, along with vegetables such as broccoli, and a protein shake. Corenswet snacked on protein shakes or unsweetened Greek yogurt with berries. Sleeping enough was also important to complement the training and nutrition. "Everything is part of the puzzle. You take one of the things out and it's not going to happen," Mascitti said.
