British rocker Yungblud reveals list of his favourite things about Australia including the city he had a 'mad night' in before hinting at Aussie tour
British rocker Yungblud has teased in a new interview that he might soon be heading Down Under after love bombing Australia.
The 27-year-old hitmaker appeared on Triple J 's Drive with Abby and Tyrone on Monday and told Aussie fans he 'missed them' before gushing over all the things he loved about Australia.
Yungblud's list of things he wanted to 'thank Australia for' included Chicken Twisties chips, Chicken Salt seasoning, and Big M flavoured milk.
The rocker, who was last here in 2022, added he respected Australia 'hard', though Aussie fans missed out on Yungblud's current world tour.
'I miss your wonderful country. I want to be there all the time,' Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison said, before he gave a shout out to Queensland 's Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary - which he referred to as a bird sanctuary.
'Shout out Melbourne for the vibes,' he continued, adding that he always had a 'mad night' whenever he was Down Under.
He also told his Aussie fans he would 'see them soon'.
A video of the interview, later shared on TikTok, sent fans into a frenzy of speculation over when the Memories singer would announce tour dates.
'I'LL SEE YOU SOON??! said one Yungblud enthusiast, adding, 'is this him [hinting] he's doing a tour here?!!! PLEASE.'
'He better announce dates soon, we already had to miss out on the self titled tour,' said one TikTokker.
'I missed him so much I flew to Vegas for [his latest] tour since he wasn't coming to Australia,' complained one fan.
Other fans commented on his quirky list of Aussie 'loves'.
'Chicken salt getting the recognition it deserves,' joked one TikTokker.
'Yay for Chicken Twisties,' said another fan, while several were shocked that he name checked a Queensland bird sanctuary.
Yungblud, who has sold over 160,000 albums is set to begin his world tour in August in the US and includes 35 gigs.
It comes after Yungblud praised the quality of the Australian dental system for their quick repair work after he lost a tooth on stage in Melbourne back in 2022.
The performer appeared on The Project and told the hosts he was performing at a show in Melbourne when suddenly 'my tooth fell out'.
The 11 Minutes singer applauded his tech team and the dentist who treated him for their professionalism and quick response.
'I was on stage and my tooth fell out. My guitarist's face - that was the funniest thing' he recounted of the experience.
'I was like "I got no tooth. Can we get me a dentist in the morning?" and there was one waiting for me at 8am,' he said.
'I just got that done at an Aussie dentist. I went straight from the club to the dentist. I hadn't been to bed yet either. But I'm happy' he said, showing off his newly fixed smile.
He summarised the experience by commending the Australian dental system with, "Aussie dentists, man!"

Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman join Australia SailGP team as co-owners
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman become co-owners of the Australia SailGP team on Thursday. The 'Deadpool & Wolverine' stars joined driver and CEO Tom Slingsby in leading the team's rebrand after several successful seasons, winning three championships in its four seasons. The team will be called the BONDS Flying Roos, with the Australian underwear company BONDS as its title partner. 'We're incredibly excited to set sail together in this new adventure," Reynolds and Jackman said in a joint statement released through SailGP. "Hugh brings a deep love for and pride in his home country, as well as being an avid fan of sailing. He will also be bringing his overly clingy emotional support human along for the ride. Apologies in advance to Australia. No comment on whether we're writing this in our BONDS. No further questions.' It's the latest sports venture for Reynolds, who along with fellow Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney is a co-owner of Wrexham, one of the world's oldest soccer clubs. Reynolds and McElhenney were also part of an investment group that acquired Colombian club La Equidad earlier this year. The BONDS Flying Roos SailGP Team is expected to make its debut at the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix starting June 7. Slingsby, an Olympic gold medalist, said in a release that Jackman and Reynolds bring 'unmatched star power, a love for storytelling, and a sharp sense of (humor) that fits perfectly with our team." "With BONDS joining as our Title Partner and the launch of the BONDS Flying Roos," Slingsby added, "we're building something distinctly Australian; a team driven by spirit, resilience, and national pride.' ___

Married At First Sight stars reveal surprise romance as they go instagram official despite NOT marrying on show
MARRIED At First Sight stars have revealed their surprise romance after going Instagram official, despite marrying on the show. Fans of the most recent Aussie series watched as Awhina and Adrian were paired together. 5 5 However, from the moment they said 'I do' the ex-couple bickered and argued. Months on from when filming on MAFS wrapped, Awhina now appeared to confirm she's seeing her co-star. And even more so now, with Instagram official snaps shared on their socials. The pair enjoyed a cosy date night at a place named The Garden in Perth recently, and snapped some very romantic photos in the process. Both in black, they posed for a mirror selfie that saw stunning Awhina looking forwards, while Billy placed his arm around her front and she held onto it. She said: 'I'll keep this one 🤭' as the caption, sending the rumour mill into overdrive in the process. Awhina shared a string of date night snaps in the carousel, as they enjoyed small plates and red wine while dining out together. 'Adrian punching the air right now 😂,' one person responded in the comments, referencing her ex. Another person wrote: 'Yusss, I love how he is with your son. As a mum that's the ultimate most attractive attribute.' MAFS groom forced to deny cheating accusations after bride claims he had sex with another woman during show filming Someone else simply put: 'I am living for this ❤️.' The telling post comes after Awhina was spotted looking glam at a horse racing event in Perth. During the video, Englishman Billy - who starred on MAFS with his ex Sierah - makes an appearance. Awhina captioned the video: "Our exes ate a plate of meat, but who really ate?" The ex-bride's clip has sent fans into a meltdown as they flooded her with replies. One said: "Billy and Awhina, Jamie and Elliott. the experts got it wrong and should have had them paired from the start." A second said: "Experts really got this season wrong in the matches. Billy now with Awhina, Jamie with Elliot. They are all so happy now." "Can I just say when I watched mafs I literally said before the scandal that Billy and awhina were made for each other ….. Called it," said a third. Married at First Sight fans previously watched as Billy's ex Sierah had become close to Adrian during the show's partner swapping exercise. In awkward scenes, Sierah revealed that she ended up confiding in Adrian off screen. Billy felt betrayed because he had opened up to Sierah with an emotional letter about feeling rejected by his father, while she chose to open up to someone else. 5
