Taking place on Saturday June 28, the event is expected to draw tens of thousands of participants and spectators across the capital.

The first set of road closures will take effect from 8:00am to 4:00pm, impacting O'Connell Street Upper, O'Connell Street Lower and Cathal Brugha Street.
From 11:30am to 4:00pm, further restrictions will apply to major routes including Eden Quay, Custom House Quay, Memorial Bridge, Lombard Street East, Westland Row, Lincoln Place and parts of Merrion Street.

PLAN AHEAD & USE ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
Westbound traffic heading for the South City will be diverted via Samuel Beckett Bridge, Sir Roger's Quay, Cardiff Lane, Macken Street, Grand Canal Street Lower and Upper.
They will then be diverted to Haddington Road, Mespil Road, Leeson Street Lower, St Stephen's Green, Cuffe Street, Redmond's Hill, Augier Street and South Great George's Street.

Motorists are being urged to 'slow down' and 'expect delays' after gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene between J7 and J6 Northbound. Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed it also attended the scene. It said: 'We are attending a three-vehicle collision on the M50 between J7 and J6 Northbound. 'Expect delays and please slow down on approach.' There have been no injuries reported at this time. The Irish Sun has contacted An Garda Siochana for a statement on the collision. Transport Infrastructure Ireland warned there's currently congestion as a result of the accident. Traffic is building between J7 M50/N4 and J6 M50/N3. One lane is currently affected so drivers must slow down. There's also delays at J5 M50/N2 and J7 M50/N4. TII chiefs said: 'Some delays to your journey may occur. "When approaching the congestion location, reduce your speed and drive with caution.' TRAFFIC DELAYS There's also reported congestion at J9 (N7) Red Cow, J6 M50/N3 (Dublin) Another incident has been flagged between J3 M1/M50 and J5 M50/N2. And motorists are being warned it will affect the stretch of Werburgh Street between Christchurch Place and Ship Street Little. Step Telecoms Ltd. stated: 'Werburgh Street (from Christchurch Place to Ship Street Little), Dublin 8. 'Date - Saturday 16th August 2025 to Sunday 17th August 2025.' Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure and local access to and from Castle Street will be facilitated at all times from Christchurch Place or Werburgh Street when possible. The Road Safety Authority shared the warning on X after Gowan Distributors Limited, which imports Citroen and DS vehicles, issued an urgent stop-drive recall. The recall affects certain Citroen C3, C-Zero and DS 3 models as their Takata airbags could burst with excessive force if they deploy in a crash. 'DO NOT DRIVE' The RSA said: 'Important notice for owners of a Citroen C3 and DS 3. 'Citroen/DS Ireland have asked vehicle owners of certain Citroen C3 and DS 3 models to stop driving their vehicle until the airbags have been replaced by a dealership.' Safety bosses explained that chemicals inside these airbags can deteriorate over time, especially when the cars are exposed to warm and humid conditions. This deterioration could make the inflator explode more violently than intended, leading to pieces of metal striking the driver or passengers. The RSA said this fault can cause serious or even fatal injuries if the airbag goes off during an accident. They said: 'Takata airbags may deteriorate over time, particularly in warm, humid climates'. 'This could cause the airbag to burst with too much force in the event of an accident, which could lead to serious or even fatal injuries in the worst-case scenario.'
