Woman Called ‘Spoiled Brat' After She Complains About Only Getting 4 Vacations This Year: ‘Do I Need a Reality Check?'
A woman says she and her husband typically take five vacations a year — but this year they will only take four because her husband, who works for his parents, doesn't have enough vacation days
The woman says she broached the issue with her husband's mom, but was told, "We've got a business to run and work to do'
The woman shared her story on the U.K.-based community site Mumsnet.com — and the majority of commenters told her they thought she sounded "spoiled"
A woman admitted she's 'annoyed' that her husband doesn't get more vacation days — despite the fact that they are taking four vacations this year.
The woman detailed her experience on the 'Am I Being Unreasonable?' forum of the U.K.-based community site Mumsnet.com. In the post, titled 'Feel annoyed we can't go on another holiday this year,' the woman shared that she and her husband typically go on two week-long trips abroad and three domestic trips a year.

'[Vacations] are our thing,' the original poster (OP) explained on Thursday, April 10, adding, 'We don't spend money on anything else.'
The OP went on to say that this year, she and her husband decided to only go on one trip abroad but extend the trip to nearly two weeks — meaning their next scheduled international trip won't be for another year. However, she noted that they still have their three domestic trips planned as usual.

The problem? The OP — who is currently on the final days of their current international trip — said she is starting to get the 'holiday blues.' She revealed, 'We are heading home in a few days and where usually we would be back in August we won't be back until April again next year.'
The woman explained that the issue is not financial — as they 'can afford to go [again] in August' — but is instead related to her husband's vacation days. 'Hubby works for his [parents'] business and when I broached the subject to his mom that we may do a sneaky week in August she promptly informed me that he didn't have any holiday days left (in fact he is already over his allowance of holidays with the breaks we've got booked [...] this year),' she shared.

The OP said that she told her mother-in-law that her husband could take the weeks 'unpaid,' prompting the mother to say, 'It's not about the time off we've got a business to run and work to do.'
'So that annoyed me [too],' the OP continued, before turning to forum for feedback. 'AIBU [am I being unreasonable] for thinking that waiting a year after an abroad family holiday is hard? Or do I need a reality check[?]'

The vast majority of the woman's fellow community members said that they think she is in need of a fresh perspective. 'Yes you are being massively unreasonable and I can't believe you had that conversation with your [mother-in-law],' said one person, while another wrote, 'You sound like a spoiled brat!'
Someone else added, 'Bloody hell Princess, are your diamond shoes too tight as well?!'
Another person suggested that the OP attempt to practice gratitude, writing, 'I also love going abroad and have very little in the way of treats. But finances do not allow regular holidays for us. I'm very much looking forward to our one [domestic] holiday this year in August, and feel lucky to have that. Practicing gratitude might be helpful for you.'

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Share a Kiss During Their Hockey Game Date Night
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had a sporty date night in Sunrise, Florida, on Thursday. The couple was spotted in box seats at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, where the Florida Panthers faced off against the Edmonton Oilers at Amerant Bank Arena. (The Oilers won.) For the game, Swift wore her signature red lip along with a matching two-piece tan Area set. She accessorized with simple jewelry and wore her hair in a long braid. Kelce kept the same cozy theme and wore a matching red set with a sweatshirt and shorts. The two also chatted with hockey legend Wayne Gretzky. In a video posted on X by Sportsnet, the pair can be seen leaving their suite hand-in-hand. The clip also offered a full look at Swift's outfit, which included Prada ankle boots. A fan account for the couple, TayvisHaze, also caught them kissing in the stands, in another video posted on X. Swift is reportedly staying in 'Florida!!!' while Kelce trains in the Sunshine State for the upcoming NFL season. He's currently renting a home in Boca Raton, and Swift is right by his side now that the Eras Tour has wrapped. She's there 'to support and spend time' with Kelce, a source told People. The couple was previously spotted on another Florida date night last month at Harry's Bar & Restaurant in West Palm Beach. 'Travis was working on Friday before his dinner date with Taylor, and he left early to go meet her,' the People source said. Even amid their busy schedules, the couple still makes time for each other. 'Travis still seems very happy with Taylor,' the source added.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's 2025 NFL Schedule
Taylor Swift has been spending a ton of time in Florida due to Travis Kelce choosing the sunshine state as his training spot for the upcoming NFL season—and apparently she's going to be a major presence once games start. "Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season," a source tells People. "Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she's not juggling a packed tour schedule." Taylor's been a fixture at Arrowhead Stadium home games during the past two seasons, but touring has made her appearances somewhat inconsistent. But the source says "this fall will be completely different. It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar." "The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible," the insider adds. "It wasn't easy but they made it work. Her schedule is much more open now that the Eras Tour is wrapped and she's genuinely excited to have the time and flexibility to show up for Travis more consistently." As for which games she'll attend, exactly, apparently "Taylor plans to be at as many of his games as possible. They've both had such demanding schedules for so long, so having this stretch of time where things aren't quite as chaotic feels like a welcome change. It's a chance for them to settle into more of a routine and they're both really happy about that."

Plane Passenger Was Stopped by TSA and Almost Received an $800 Fine for Traveling with an Apple
A TikTok user said her apple was confiscated and she was almost fined and denied future travel penalties after forgetting to declare the item The woman had been returning to the United States after a trip to Amsterdam 'When in doubt, declare it to avoid fines and confiscation,' she warnedA woman returning home from a trip abroad claimed she was stopped at the airport and almost faced a hefty fine as well as future traveling restrictions after forgetting to declare an apple at customs. Last week, TikTok user Discovering with Dina posted a video of herself standing in a baggage claim area with a small suitcase and a carry-on. 'She doesn't know it yet but a K9 is about to walk up to her and smell the apple that she forgot to declare in customs causing her to almost get fined $500 and get Global Entry revoked,' she wrote over the clip. Dina explained her ordeal in the caption, warning others, 'DON'T make this mistake!' A customs agent reportedly told her, 'I could fine you $500 right now and revoke your global entry.' 'I was standing there waiting for my luggage and a Customs & Border Control Officer came up to me, saying the K9 is smelling food and asking me if I had anything,' she wrote. 'Shoot… I forgot I had an apple on me from Amsterdam that I was supposed to declare at customs.' Dina said her passport was confiscated, and her bags were then checked by airport officials. Lying about the apple could have cost her a $300 fine, while she would have gotten 'another $500 fine for actually having the apple and Global Entry.' She then shared a few tips on how to avoid her mistake, which meant 'declaring purchases over $800, cash including travelers checks over $10,000, [and] ALL food, plants, and animal products.' 'When in doubt, declare it to avoid fines and confiscation,' Dina wrote. 'Thankfully, I was given a warning because this is my first offense, but this was a reminder to take it seriously. I genuinely forgot about the apple, and declaring it wasn't top of mind since they stopped having you fill out those forms on the plane. I also didn't know you are supposed to declare all food, even if it's processed,' she added. Users shared similar experiences in Dina's comment section. 'Just lost global entry and $500 over a plum that was completely unintentional,' one person wrote. Another added, 'I legit declared an unopened can of Diet Coke bc they made it seem like I'd be sentenced to the electric chair 😭😭.' 'Yes! I tell people this, bringing in agriculture is like a step away from being a terrorist. It is a big deal,' another said. Two Chinese nationals recently made headlines for smuggling a fungus into America, which is classified as a potential agroterrorism weapon. Yunqing Jian and Zunyong Liu received federal charges after they 'posed an imminent threat to public safety,' the United States Attorney's Office said in a June 3 press release. According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, 'Many agriculture products are prohibited entry into the United States from certain countries because they may carry plant pests and foreign animal diseases.' 'All agriculture items must be declared and are subject to inspection by a CBP Agriculture Specialist at ports of entry to ensure they are free of plant pests and foreign animal diseases,' the agency added. Fresh fruits are among the prohibited items listed. Read the original article on People
