Reports: Leverkusen after PSV's Tillman after Wirtz exit

Bundesliga runners-up Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly out to sign midfielder Malik Tillman from PSV Eindhoven.
German sports magazine Kicker and Dutch paper Eindhoven Dagblad said that Tillman could cost Bayer up to €40 million ($46.8 million). He is said to receive a five-year contract in Leverkusen who are now coached by Dutchman Erik ten Hag.

Tillman, 23, is said to have a release clause in his contract but there appear to be uncertainties about its activation.
The attacking midfielder came to PSV on loan from Bayern Munich in 2023 and was later signed permenantly. He is currently playing with the United States national team at the regional Gold Cup championship in the US.
In Leverkusen, Tillman would fill the void left by Florian Wirtz who has left for Liverpool in a deal that could be worth up to €150 million.

Chelsea agree fee for Dortmund winger Gittens
Chelsea have agreed an undisclosed fee to sign Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund as they edge closer to completing his transfer. The 20-year-old winger, who agreed a seven-year contract with Chelsea earlier in June, is now set to have a medical. Gittens was outlined as Chelsea's primary target to replace Jadon Sancho after he returned to Manchester United following his loan spell, which cost the Blues a £5m penalty fee. Mykhailo Mudryk also remains provisionally suspended after being charged by the Football Association with violating its anti-doping rules after failing a drugs test. Gittens would be unable to play in the ongoing Club World Cup because he has appeared in it for Dortmund. He would be Chelsea's fourth summer signing, joining striker Liam Delap, midfielder Dario Essugo and defender Mamadou Sarr, with midfielder Andrey Santos also returning from his loan spell at Strasbourg.
