Hema Malini Film Career
Hema Malini, often referred to as the Dream Girl of Bollywood, made her acting debut in 1968 with the film Sapno Ka Saudagar, opposite Raj Kapoor. With her graceful dance moves and strong screen presence, she quickly became a sensation. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the actress featured in several blockbuster films alongside legendary actors like Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra. Some of her most notable films credited to her name include Seeta Aur Geeta (1972), for which she won the Filmfare Best Actress Award, Sholay (1975), Dream Girl (1977), Satte Pe Satta (1982) and Baghban (2003).
Hema Malini Acting Comeback
Hema Malini was last seen in the film Shimla Mirchi. The film was released in 2020. Since then, she has been busy with her political career. In a video shared by Instant Bollywood, Hema Malini responded to whether she will make a comeback to the screen. She said, 'Aajkal jo picture banate hain usme main fit nahi hoti hoon! Mera fit hone jaisa banana padega… alag se (The kind of films that are made today, I don't see myself fit to star in them. They need to make films differently so that I can fit in them)."
Hema Malini Marital Life
On the personal front, Hema Malini is married to Dharmendra. The duo first met during the shooting of 'Tum Haseen Main Jawan' in 1970 and after years of dating, they tied the knot in 1980. During that time, the veteran actor was already married to Prakash Kaur and together, they share four kids.
Dharmendra and Hema Malini, on the other hand, have two daughters, Ahana and Esha Deol.

Hyderabad: Dance choreographer booked for harassing minor stepdaughter
Last Updated: Hyderabad, Aug 3 (PTI) A dance choreographer, who mentors contestants on television reality shows, has been arrested for the alleged sexual harassment of his minor stepdaughter here, police said on Sunday. The girl's mother, in her complaint, alleged that the accused—her second husband—had inappropriately touched her daughter on multiple occasions, police added. Based on the complaint, a case was registered at Gachibowli Police Station under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including charges of sexual harassment and stalking.
