Dog dies after being found in basement of Ohio home
An Ohio shelter announced that a dog they recently rescued has died.

The Healthy Hearts and Paw Project announced on social media Sunday that Baby 'crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.'

Baby was found chained up in a basement at home in Warren, according to a Facebook post.
'The dog was found nearly unresponsive at the bottom of the filthy basement steps -- emaciated, dehydrated, and a ruptured mass on the abdomen -- with the heavy stench of decay and infection in the air,' the shelter said.
Baby was rushed to a veterinary hospital, where doctors worked to save her life.
She died Sunday.
'The decision to let her go wasn't easy, but it was the right thing to do,' the shelter said on its Facebook page. 'There simply was no coming back from the hell she was put through.'
The shelter added that all photos will be submitted on Monday to consider charges.

Former Bengals cornerback Adam 'Pacman' Jones arrested for disorderly conduct outside Cincinnati
Former NFL cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was arrested near Cincinnati on Friday night, per multiple reports. Jones, who was best known for his time with the Cincinnati Bengals, was charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct and assault of an officer. Jones was booked in Kenton County Jail, just outside of Cincinnati, just before 2 a.m. He was released Saturday on $100,000 bond, and has a court appearance scheduled for Monday. Jones was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2005 as the sixth overall pick out of West Virginia, and later went on to play eight seasons with the Bengals. But his NFL career was often marred by legal issues: Jones had a series of off-field incidents, including involvement in a shooting in Las Vegas, in his first two years in the league. As a result, Jones was eventually suspended by the league for the 2007 season, essentially marking the beginning of the league's personal conduct policy. Jones officially retired from the NFL in 2019, but his legal troubles continued. Just before his retirement, Jones was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct in a casino in Indianapolis. In 2021, he was charged with assault in Hamilton County, OH after punching and kicking someone in the head until they were unconscious.
