Beautiful Pitlochry home with Tuscan themes and ‘boutique hotel feel' for sale
A beautiful Pitlochry home with Tuscan themes and the feel of a 'boutique hotel' has come up for sale.
Bruadair has been transformed by its owners into a 'masterpiece', according to the agent.
The home hit the headlines in 2023 when owners George and Alison Rollo saw their plans for two holiday units at the Craiglunie Gardens overturned after opposition from neighbours.
The property has now been put up for sale.
The focal point of the home is the open-plan living/kitchen/dining area and the adjacent snug.
Agent Your Move says this space exhibits 'the finest of finishes and thoughtful design' and 'very much has the feeling throughout of being in a high-end boutique hotel'.
It further says the owners have 'Italian heritage, which is obvious from Tuscan themes and a focus on open-plan, family living and opulent finishes'.
The single-storey house has four bedrooms in total, three of which are en-suite.
French doors in the master bedroom lead to the patio while an oversized double-height en-suite fills the Tuscan-style tower.
Outside, the home features an impressive south-facing garden with panoramic views towards Ben Vrackie and a pond.
The wraparound patio is the perfect space for entertaining guests on long summer nights.
A double garage provides ample space for parking, while the studio would be an ideal home office.
Bruadair is on the market for offers over £650,000.
Elsewhere in Perthshire, one of Crieff's top bed and breakfasts is for sale after the owners announced its closure.
And a 'truly spectacular'1900s Stirling mansion offering a renovation project has hit the market.

At the time, bosses attributed the closures to the cost-of-living crisis, staffing challenges, and tough economic conditions. The chain currently operates six locations across Scotland. But there is good news on the horizon for the burger brand, as it prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Monterey Jack's is set to make a significant return to the country's largest city after losing its central Glasgow location. The new venue is expected to open this month. Signage has already appeared in the St Enoch Centre, indicating a new location is on its way. Large branding has been installed in the shopping precinct's newest food court, accompanied by a "coming soon" sign that reads: "It's happening." The sign also states: "Award-winning, 100 per cent fresh, prime beef burgers. Succulent chicken, gourmet dawgs, delicious fresh shakes and desserts, and a bucket load of sides. You lucky things!" The firm confirmed via its Facebook page that the site is set to open in June 2025 though the exact opening date remains unclear. The Sun tries Wetherspoons' new menu Fans of the chain have taken to the comments to share their excitement about its return. One wrote: "Love MJ's! This will be great when we're shopping in Glasgow!" Another commented: "As centre staff myself, I actually can't wait to try Monterey Jack's UK – never tried it before!" A third added: "I loved the one in Merchant Square. "Such a shame it closed, like most places in there recently. "Looking forward to it opening."

Help! I'm self-conscious about showing off my arms and legs
PROBLEM 'I love wearing dresses and my wardrobe is full of short, pretty styles. But now I'm in my 60s I'm not as comfortable with having my arms and legs on display.' SOLUTION Feeling self-conscious doesn't mean you have to write off dresses. An ankle-length sleeveless shift looks great with a blazer – avoiding anything too structured or cropped will keep it modern. VERDICT 'I've fallen in love with this combination. I'd always thought long dresses were for formal events, but I could wear this every day: it's so comfortable and it covers all the bits I don't want on show. It's an entirely new style for me and definitely one I'll wear.' Hair: Dayna Vaughan-Teague at Carol Hayes using L'Oréal Professionnel. THE CHIC LIST: The 7 micro trends I'm embracing to shake up my summer wardrobe
Fashion icon Jackie Kennedy was a fan and right now I'm more than a little obsessed with white sunglasses. The reasons are simple: they add a pop to everything, instantly elevating whatever you're wearing. And they look particularly fabulous with a tan. I bought the Celine sunglasses I'm pictured in here on my last trip to Paris and have been wearing them on repeat ever since.
