FKA Twigs postpones ‘Eusexua' US tour dates over visa error
Singer FKA Twigs has announced the postponement of several of her Eusexua US tour dates due to visa issues.
The artist, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, explained on social media that an error led to the required paperwork not being submitted in time.
The affected shows include Chicago on 26 and 27 March, Toronto on 30 and 31 March, and New York on 3 and 4 May. These dates follow earlier postponements of the tour's initial shows in Prague and Berlin, which were attributed to shipping issues.
The 37-year-old recently completed the UK and European leg of her Eusexua tour with a final performance in London on 22 March.
In a post on X, the singer, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, said: 'I wanted to come on here and personally address, and talk to you about some things that have been happening behind the scenes in my world.
'So as you may have seen, I have been performing the Eusexua tour in the UK and Europe, and it's been absolutely incredible.
'The reception and the crowd, and the artistic expression, everything's just been completely amazing, and I feel so grateful to be just a part of such an amazing creative process.
'Behind the scenes, practically, it has been challenging with production and just yeah, the more practical sides of putting this tour together.
'So today, I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform, so that means that by no choice of my own, I will have to pull out of my New York, Chicago and Toronto shows.
'For those of you who are wondering why I have to pull out of Toronto, because it's not part of the United States, it's because of routing and just the complex beast that touring is.
'I don't take this lightly, I'm completely devastated to be honest with you, and completely heartbroken, all I want to do is to be there with you, bring Eusexua to you.
'I've not performed in the USA since 2019 and it really feels like a home away from home, and this is just such a huge blow, and I feel super let down, and I'm looking into how and why this happened, and I'm making sure that I have the support to correct this.'
She went on to say that she would be 'rescheduling' the shows, with information to come 'very shortly'.
Becoming emotional, FKA Twigs continued: 'I can't wait to bring Eusexua to you, it's truly been one of the greatest achievements of my life, it's been this amazing, incredible, spiritual, enlightening whirlwind, and all I want is to be with you and be performing with you.
'So I'm truly devastated, and I'm so sorry for everyone that if this has affected your your plans.
'Thank you so much for understanding, I'm going to come to you harder and stronger than ever, thank you so much love you.'
She is also due to perform at the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival in California next month, and a gig in San Francisco on April 19, with no updates given as to whether these will be impacted by the visa issues.
The tour comes after the singer released her third studio album of the same name in January, which peaked at number three on the UK albums chart.
The singer is next due to perform in Mexico City on April 6.

The new addition to the attraction will be the first hotel located within the theme park itself and will open on August 1. The hotel will be themed around a traditional grand dame hotel with stories woven into the design throughout, appearing like a Wes Anderson story. There will be digital check-in, valet parking and luggage handling, upon arrival. A bellhop and Efteling's two princesses will guests in the lobby, where the air will also be infused with the hotel's signature fragrance. The hotel will be spread across seven floors offering 140 rooms and suites, with a total of 644 beds. The biggest room will be able to host six people. The hotel rooms will also overlook the park with different views of the Aquanura water show the House of the Dive Senses entrance, the Fairytale Forest or the Pardoes Promenade Lane. All of the rooms include breakfast at Brasserie 7 and half an hour of early access to the park before it opens to the public. Vicko Sevelj: Dundee United player of year makes bold prediction ahead of maiden European campaign
Vick Sevelj overcame major culture shocks – both on and off the pitch – to become Dundee United's player of the year. But the Croatian star insists Tangerines fans have yet to see him at his best. Sevelj was a stand-out performer for United in his first season with the club. In recognition of his efforts, he was presented with the top gong at the Tangerines' end-of-season awards night. But the defender believes the upcoming campaign will be even better – especially now he has fully settled into life in Scotland. He explained: 'It was hard for me for the first few months because the football here is very different. 'Even in the League Cup against the lower league teams it was difficult. 'But every game after that, I felt I stepped up and stepped up. Overall I feel I have done well and next season I think I will be even better. 'I will have a rest now. I am looking forward to going home to sunny Croatia for some holidays because I haven't been home for months. 'But when I get back next season, I am ready to work harder and hopefully become a better player. 'It will help that I know the league now; I have a year's experience of playing in this country, so I believe I will improve. It is a just reward for a superb first season back in the Premiership. But the 24-year-old admits continental competition was the last thing on his mind when he signed for United. 'In all honesty, I didn't think Europe would be possible when I was coming here,' he conceded. 'I knew the league would be so competitive, but we were coming from the Championship and I expected this season would be about staying in the league. 'The team who comes up is usually the favourite to be relegated, so I don't think anyone would have imagined we'd finish fourth. 'But it didn't take long after coming here, I could see we were a strong team with a good squad. 'I thought early on in the season we could have a good season because I could see how hard everyone works in training. 'There have been ups and downs, but when we had the down times we always came back strongly from them. 'After the split, we didn't play great but we had put ourselves in a nice position. 'Going into the Aberdeen game on the final day we had dreams and thankfully they came true. 'I think we deserved what we have achieved and everyone is looking forward to it now.' The closes Sevelj has come to playing European football in his career is a seat on the bench. Now he hopes to experience it in full – and help ensure United fans enjoy their 'adventure'. 'I haven't played in Europe before, I was in the squad at Hadjuk Split for a game against Galatasaray and a few others,' he said. 'But I never got on the pitch, so I didn't feel I was playing at that level. 'So to have the chance of doing it now is amazing, it's the level every player wants to be at. 'You want to play against these good teams with good players and for the fans it will be a fun adventure.
