Murder investigation after girl, 3, found dead in Leeds house
A murder investigation has been launched after a three-year-old girl was found dead in a house in Yorkshire Police said they received a report of concern for safety of a young child on Wednesday at about 11:05 attended an address on Austhorpe Court in Colton and the girl's body was found inside.A woman at the property was taken to hospital and has since been arrested on suspicion of murder. Flamborough search continues for person missing at Thornwick Bay
Emergency crews have been carrying out searches in the sea off the East Yorkshire coast following reports of a person missing in Coastguard said they responded to reports of an incident at Thornwick Bay in Flamborough at about 21:08 BST on and ambulance crews attended, along with Bridlington Coastguard rescue team, an HM Coastguard rescue helicopter and RNLI lifeboats from Flamborough, Scarborough and Coastguard said the incident remained ongoing on Thursday as the person, confirmed to be an adult, had not been found. Bodies airlifted from beneath cliffs near Whitby Abbey
The bodies of a man and a woman have been airlifted from beneath the cliffs at Whitby Abbey.A member of the public saw the pair on the rocks at about 19:15 BST on Wednesday, North Yorkshire Police coastguard then recovered them by helicopter at 20:24, before paramedics confirmed their force has launched a sudden deaths investigation and has been working to find their next of kin.
