One couple recently jetted off to Morocco with their four-month-old son, as they left their two-year-old son at home with his grandmother - dividing opinions
A couple have divided opinions after choosing to take their baby on holiday, but leave their toddler at home.
Georgia and Chris Brown, both 30, recently took their four-month-old son, Harry, on a four-day holiday to Morocco - while leaving their two-year-old son, George, at home with his grandmother. The couple explained they wanted some 'one-on-one time' with their baby, something they felt wouldn't be possible with a toddler in tow.

Georgia, a business consultant from southeast London, and Chris, a sales executive, said they gave George a similar experience when he was a baby, taking him on a trip to Sorrento, Italy. They hoped to give Harry the same chance to be the centre of attention.

'George's first holiday was all about him, and we wanted that experience with Harry,' Georgia told What's the Jam. 'With a toddler, it's a very different experience because you're always watching out for them. George is running wild, and Harry's life very much revolves around what his brother's doing.'
Chris booked the holiday as a surprise birthday gift for Georgia. She was initially surprised to see that only one child was included in the booking, but understood the reasoning and found it 'quite sweet.'

Georgia emphasised that George is very loved and well cared for by his grandmother while they were away. The couple also made sure to FaceTime George daily.
However, after Georgia shared a video of the holiday on TikTok, the couple faced a flood of criticism online, with some accusing them of being 'bad parents' and neglecting their toddler. Others suggested financial reasons were behind the decision, which Georgia denied.

'I didn't expect the reaction,' Georgia said. 'People said 'that poor boy' and that he'll remember this forever. But he's independent and happy. We FaceTimed every day, and he had a great time with his gran.'
Despite the backlash, the couple doesn't regret their choice. Since the Morocco trip in March, the whole family has been on holidays together to Germany and Ireland.
'It was lovely to have that special time with Harry,' Georgia said. 'George was well cared for, went to the zoo, and had fun with family. It was a great balance.'

The online responses have been mixed - some calling the decision selfish or unfair to the older child, while others defended the Browns, emphasising the importance of parents having individual time with each child.
One supporter said, 'There's nothing wrong with what you've done if the kids are left with loving family. People just don't understand how hard parenting is.'
Another commented, 'It's thoughtful to give each child quality time, especially when most holidays are family ones.'

'Spudman was great for show' Kevin Reade, of Reade's Hog Roast Event Caters, said he would usually sell about £10,000 worth of food over the two days of the he spoke to the BBC he said takings were slightly down compared to previous years, but stressed that Spudman was "great for the show"."I think it's a bit of a gimmick, but he is a really nice guy and I met him this morning and he had one of my hog roasts and said it was excellent," he said."Even my grandson wanted a picture taken with him, how bad is that? I have been doing this for 40 years but he has never wanted one with me." Spudman told the BBC he wanted to use his platform to help elevate other small businesses."We are here to support the other traders, we make videos with them, we eat their food, and we try and support as many of them as we possibly can," he said."If you go on my TikTok there are videos from other traders - I love going into other businesses and showing my followers something other than jacket potatoes."We are here to promote, we're not here to take anything away from other people - it's not about us." Hollyoaks star 'ties the knot with businessman fiancé she met on aeroplane'

The actress, who is best known for her role as Katja on the long-running soap, went public with her relationship six years ago Hollyoaks star Caroline Koziol has reportedly married her fiancé Phil Thornett after first meeting him on an aeroplane. The actress, who is best known for her role as Katja on the long-running soap, went public with her relationship six years ago and has now walked down the aisle with her closest friends and family attending the ceremony. According to reports, the gorgeous couple tied the knot in the countryside at a ceremony attended by their family and friends including former Hollyoaks co-star Rory Douglas Speed, who is known for his role as Joel Dexter in the Channel 4 series. Caroline and Rory became close friends on the set of Hollyoaks. ‌ ‌ As per The Sun, Caroline reportedly met her now-husband Phil on the plane and quickly fell for him. The Mirror have contacted Caroline for comment. The actress appeared on Hollyoaks for a short stint in 2021 where she portrayed a Polish immigrant named Katja. Her character was the unsuspecting van driver of laptops that Warren Fox, Felix Westwood and Brad King were going to steal from. As their plan unfolded, Felix - dressed as a policeman - directed her into a garage but she soon became weary of him when she noticed he wasn't wearing a proper stab vest. ‌ Felix panicked about what to do and tied her up before placing her in the back of the van. During the chaos, Katja managed to escape from him. While escaping in her van, she accidentally hit Maxine Minniver. Meanwhile, outside of Hollyoaks, Caroline appeared as Mariana in Line of Duty in 2019. ‌ Not only has she appeared in over 20 Bollywood films, she also received a nomination for Best Actress at the Los Angeles Film Festival for her role in the short film, Dream Catcher. The actress also has almost 200,000 followers on TikTok and entertains fans with her endless, unique sketches and posts. Speaking about content creation, she previously said: "My followers give me so much, and I've built a community with them. I read every comment, and I'm incredibly grateful for the support I receive. ‌ "However, it wasn't easy to start with. I tried to succeed on TikTok for the past two years, but none of my channels were successful. I kept posting every day for nine months, and through consistent effort, I finally managed to build an audience. "I found it tricky at the beginning because my videos barely got any views, but I read that consistency is key, so I decided to keep going."

Alejandro Garnacho 'filmed PUSHING fan' as Man United's miserable post-season tour hits a new low - just a day after Amad Diallo stuck his middle finger up at fans in Malaysia

Manchester United 's miserable post-season tour sunk to a new low as Alejandro Garnacho became involved in an altercation with a fan in Malaysia. New footage has emerged of the United outcast, who is set to leave Old Trafford in the summer after a spat with Ruben Amorim, appearing to 'push' a supporter as he strided through the streets of Kuala Lumpur. The video, first posted on TikTok, shows a moody Garnacho, wearing sunglasses and a golden chain, ignoring the fan as he asks if he prefers Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. 'Bro, you pushed me,' the shocked supporter then exclaims. The incident heaps further misery on United, who were already humiliated after losing 1-0 to exhibition side ASEAN All-Stars on Wednesday. It comes just a day after Amad Diallo went viral for putting his middle fingers up at fans. 📸| Garnacho pushing a fan in Malaysia 🇲🇾 Think it's best that he's leaving in the summer he's ego is something else — UtdKev (@UtdKev8) May 30, 2025 The Ivorian was seen performing the obscene gesture as he left the team's hotel. The 22-year-old rushed to social media to admit he did not regret making the gesture and that it was in response to someone who shouted personal abuse relating to his mother. 'I have respect for people but not for the one who insults my mom…' he said on X. 'I shouldn't have reacted like that but I don't regret what I did. 'We had a great time in Malaysia with good people.' Meanwhile, Garnacho was brutally warned by Amorim that he needs to 'pray' he can find a new club in front of team-mates. Tensions skyrocketed after the Argentina international hit out at his boss for benching him in their Europa League final defeat to Tottenham last Wednesday The Red Devils went on to lose 1-0, with Garnacho only featuring for 20 minutes from bench and the Argentine failed to hide his frustration with Amorim as he admitted it had been a 's***' season for the club. His agent brother then added fuel to the fire by posting on Instagram that the winger had been 'thrown under the bus' by the Portuguese boss. Despite a turbulent week, Garnacho featured for United in their embarassing post-season friendly defeat to exhibition side ASEAN All-Stars on Wednesday before starting against Hong Kong on Friday. Fans are further convinced his days in Manchester are numbered after he appeared glum at a shirt signing event in Malaysia. Amad yesterday urged Garnacho to stay at United next season despite his fiery dispute with Amorim. Speaking ahead of their friendly against Hong Kong, Amad leapt to Garnacho's defence, claiming the dispute is not an issue for the team. The Ivorian said: 'Alejandro is a really good player and we need good players in the team. I know Garna really well, so I hope to have Garna next season. 'It is not really a big issue for the team. Everything is good now.' Although he is set to leave in the summer, he started in United's friendly against Hong Kong Garnacho was omitted from United's squad for their final game of the season against Villa and it would represent a remarkable u-turn if he were to remain at the club. His partner appeared to confirm his departure with a cryptic two-word message to fans on social media just hours before the Villa encounter. She posted a picture of a baby-sized United kit alongside the words 'last match', accompanied by a tearful emoji and a heart on Instagram. A sale would represent pure profit under financial fair play rules, as the winger came through the club's academy system.
