The co-passengers did not object to his act and were seen laughing at his petty theft.
What might have started as a mere prank for entertainment quickly turned into petty theft aboard a crowded train. A video has been going viral on social media, which shows a shocking scene of a passenger stealing from the vendors. While he might have thought that his antics were hilarious, the Internet is far from being amused.
The clip begins with vendors trying to make their way through the narrow passage between the seats as they balance huge bags of goods on top of their heads. The young man, who was sitting on the upper berth, called one of them and looked through his bag, acting as if he wanted to buy something from the vendor. When he showed no interest and the vendor was about to walk away from that place, he sneakily took a packet of juice from the bag, without paying.
His expression showed no signs of hesitation or guilt. He was clearly pleased with his petty theft. And he did not just limit himself to stealing one item. As vendors passed through the corridor one after another, he kept stealing food items, including samosas, a water bottle, and other fried snacks.

Internet Is Furious Over The Man's Actions
As seen in the video, his co-passengers found his act amusing. They laughed at his inexcusable actions instead of discouraging him from doing so or even informing the poor vendors about what was happening. What was clearly theft was treated like an entertainment show for the other passengers. The viral video was shared on X with the caption: 'He thinks stealing from poor vendors is 'comedy'. This guy needs to be detained."
Unlike his co-passengers, the Internet was furious about the man's act. Many expressed their anger and disappointment over this incident, with some even calling for strict punishments. One person said, 'It is not about his problem; it's about the people sitting beside them, and no one is saying anything. And everyone is taking fun of it!!!"
Another added, 'Stealing from the poor and calling it content? That's not a prank, that's a crime. Lock him up." 'I'll never get why Indians think bending the rules is a genius move," said a different user.
A user also tagged Railway Police and asked for punishment, saying, '@RPF_INDIA identify and fine him for this misdemeanour crime. People cannot be allowed to get away with stealing from others like this. Where is rule of law?"
Since the video was posted on social media, it has garnered over a million views.

Three held for selling counterfeit branded jeans in Delhi; 684 fake items seized

New Delhi, Aug 2 (PTI) Three shop owners have been arrested in outer Delhi's Sultanpuri area for allegedly manufacturing and selling counterfeit branded jeans, an official on Saturday said. The accused have been identified as Sharif (29), Javed (35) and Salman (29), he added. 'The action came after a complaint was lodged on July 30 by a representative of M/s Netrika Consulting India Pvt. Ltd., authorised by Levi Strauss & Co., DKH Retail Ltd. (Superdry), Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, and Zara," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Outer, Sachin Sharma, in an official statement. The complaint alleged that counterfeit jeans bearing the logos and trademarks of these brands were being manufactured and sold from premises in Kirari Suleman Nagar and the surrounding areas, he added. The DCP said that police conducted successive raids at three premises — A-135 Hari Enclave, Munni Wali Gali in Kirari Suleman Nagar and the first floor of a B-Block property in Kirari Suleman Nagar. 'A total of 684 fake jeans, 350 loose Levi's labels and three sewing machines used in the illegal operation were seized from three different locations during coordinated raids carried out by the District Investigation Unit (DIU) of Outer District," he added. A large stock of jeans with fake Levi's branding, loose labels and sewing equipment used for tagging and branding the garments were recovered during the searches, police said in a statement. All three accused were present at their respective sites and failed to produce valid documents for the branded products. A company representative verified that the recovered goods were counterfeit. A case under sections 103 and 104 of the Trade Marks Act was registered at Sultanpuri Police Station. The accused were arrested and the seized materials have been sent for further investigation, police said. Further investigation is on to trace the source and possible distribution network of the counterfeit goods, they said. Diddy's Lawyer Slams 'Horrible' Brooklyn Jail: 'He Hasn't Seen Sunlight In 11 Months'

Last Updated: Sean 'Diddy' Combs, ex-CEO of Revolt, faces harsh conditions in Brooklyn's MDC since his arrest last September. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, criticizes the jail's brutal environment. Sean 'Diddy" Combs' legal team is calling out what they describe as inhumane conditions at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), where the music mogul has been held for almost 11 months. Following a partial conviction in a federal case that saw him cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering charges, Combs continues to serve time for violations under the Mann Act which prohibits the transportation of individuals for prostitution across state lines. Attorney Marc Agnifilo, who represented Combs through the high-profile trial, is now urging the court to reconsider the terms of his confinement. Speaking to Variety, Agnifilo criticised the detention centre for keeping inmates entirely indoors. 'One of the horrible things about the MDC is not going outside ever," he said. 'It's sort of like sensory deprivation." Agnifilo noted that Combs has not been exposed to fresh air or sunlight since his arrest last September. 'He wants to get out and be with his family." Combs was taken into custody following simultaneous raids on his properties in Miami and Los Angeles by Homeland Security investigators under the Biden administration. Since then, he has remained in custody, largely isolated, and has reportedly kept to himself. 'He's learned a lot," Agnifilo said. 'His time in jail has given him the ability to reflect and consider his life… his seven children, the fact that he's still close with the mothers of his children, and the life he's been given." The rapper and producer, Agnifilo added, spends much of his time writing essays and thinking deeply about his past. 'His view is: 'Have I lived up to the blessings I've been given?' And I think his conclusion is: 'Not in every aspect of my life have I lived up to those blessings.'" He also revealed that Combs is working on initiatives to support fellow inmates during his time behind bars. Although former President Donald Trump has indicated he is unlikely to grant clemency, citing a strained relationship, Agnifilo acknowledged that someone from Combs' circle did reach out. 'I do not purport to know the president's mind. I really don't know," he added. Combs' legal team has now filed a 62-page motion seeking to overturn the guilty verdicts or initiate a retrial. ‘Mummy-Papa Ki Pari' Got Married Twice, ‘Ruined Both Herself': Why UP Man Axed Family To Death

Last Updated: The accused, Abhay Yadav, told police that his sister's two failed marriages had become a major source of tension at home. A shocking triple murder has emerged from Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur, where a man allegedly killed his parents and sister with an axe and was later arrested by the police. The accused reportedly confessed that a land dispute and ongoing family tensions led him to carry out the killings. According to a report by Amar Ujala, the incident took place on July 27 in Diliya village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Khanpur police station. The victims were identified as Shivram Yadav (65), his wife Jamuni Devi (60) and their daughter Kusum Devi (36). They were killed outside their home with an axe. Days after the brutal attack, their son Abhay Yadav alias Bhuttan Yadav was arrested near Chaukia crossing on Thursday night. Following the triple murder, a named FIR was reportedly registered against Abhay Yadav by a family relative, Amar Nath. The police then launched a search operation to locate him. According to Ghazipur ASP (City) Gyanendra Prasad, teams were deployed and the accused was eventually tracked down. He was arrested around 2 AM near the Chaukia crossing area, Amar Ujala reported. The accused reportedly told police that his sister, Kusum Devi, had gone through two marriages, both of which ended in disputes. As per Amar Ujala, her first marriage took place in Jaitpura and dowry was given by the family at the time. But the relationship did not last and ended after conflicts. Later, she was married again in Hatikhana, but that relationship also broke down. He also said that his sister's two failed marriages had become a major source of tension at home. According to the report, he believed these incidents had brought embarrassment to the family and led to frequent arguments. He also alleged that Kusum had started to dominate family matters and had turned their parents against him. Property Transfer To Sister Created Rift Another major point of conflict, as per the police interrogation, was a land dispute. The accused reportedly said that a piece of land had been transferred in Kusum Devi's name. He alleged that his sister took control of the property through their parents' support. As per the Amar Ujala report, the accused told police that a heated argument broke out in the family before the murders. Kusum Devi was also present during this confrontation. In a fit of rage, Abhay allegedly attacked her with an axe first. He then turned to his mother and father and killed them as well. As of now, Abhay Yadav remains in police custody. Officials are verifying his claims and continuing the investigation. view comments First Published: News viral 'Mummy-Papa Ki Pari' Got Married Twice, 'Ruined Both Herself': Why UP Man Axed Family To Death Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
