As the pair sat down either side of Princess Charlotte, 10, they temporarily leaned round the back of their chairs for a fun-filled encounter.
Prince Louis could be seen pulling a comical expression at Sophie, who appeared to be playfully keeping him entertained.
Earlier in the day, Prince George and Louis appeared to share a laugh during the Trooping the Colour parade.
George, 11, was spotted chuckling with his younger brother Louis as they made their way back to Buckingham Palace.
George was forced to cover his face and stifle a laugh as the brothers travelled past jubilant crowds in a horse-drawn carriage.
Mischievous Prince Louis, who often entertains royal fans with his antics, was also seen grinning.
It comes after a lip reader revealed to The Sun the sweet question Louis asked his older brother as the royals arrived today.
The two brothers were seen grinning and locked in conversation as the open carriage rolled along the Mall on a glorious sunny morning.
The expert claims Louis asked George: "Should I wave?"
George then turned to his younger brother and is said to have replied: "It's up to you, I can't believe how sunny it is.'

They were joined in the carriage by mum Kate and Princess Charlotte, 10, who stunned as they wore matching blue and white outfits, peering out at the eager crowds.
This year was Charles' third Trooping the Colour parade as monarch.
The royals later watched in awe from Buckingham Palace's balcony as nine RAF aircraft flew over in the royal flypast.

HELPING HAND
Sophie, who is the wife of King Charles' youngest brother, Prince Edward, has become a 'pillar of strength' for the Wales family.
When Kate stepped back from public life following her cancer diagnosis, Sophie - mum to Lady Louise and James, Earl of Wessex, was the first to take on some of her engagements.
'That sort of pragmatism, a genuine desire to help and support someone who has been knocked off kilter, is pure Sophie,' says a senior royal source.
'It really helped William and Kate, obviously in a practical way, but also knowing Sophie could always be relied upon to give her support whenever it was needed.'

And that support was extended to the Wales's children, with 'Aunt Sophie' arranging picnics and playdates at Bagshot for George, Louis and Charlotte, during the times when Kate needed to rest after her debilitating sessions of chemotherapy.
Despite their 18-year age gap, Sophie's relationship with Kate - which has always been warm - has deepened in the last year.
Her support for the princess was evident on Remembrance Sunday, when Kate looked to be on the verge of tears at the end of the service at the Cenotaph.
Sophie simply placed her hand on Kate's shoulder as the pair made their way from a balcony.
The warmth of her gesture displayed not just the comfort from a family member, but also the empathy of a compassionate friend.

Louis' touching bond with Great Aunt Sophie! Fun friendship between little prince and Duchess of Edinburgh is revealed at Trooping The Colour
The sweet bond between Duchess of Edinburgh and Prince Louis - the youngest Wales - was evident at the Trooping the Colour as Sophie stepped into her role as a 'protective' yet fun-loving great-auntie. The King's Birthday Parade featured many memorable moments Prince Louis, seven, and members of The Firm as everyone - from King Charles to Prince George - tried to keep up with the cheekiest royal's antics. From trying to copy his grandather's wave to reducing his otherwise-composed older brother George, 11, to fits of laughter, the seven-year-old prince completely stole the show at the festivities on Saturday. There was, however, one particularly sweet moment that royal fans noticed as they gushed over Louis's 'fun aunt', the Duchess of Edinburgh, and their close relationship after spotting them together on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Senior members of the Royal Family came together to mark the King's official birthday on June 14 amid a spectacular display of military pomp and pageantry - before gathering to watch the Royal Air Force flypast from the Palace in a time-honoured tradition. In recent years, Louis has left royal fans in hysterics with his behaviour as the youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales is always sure to put on a very animated display while watching the Red Arrows with his family. And while this year's ceremony was no exception, it appeared one royal stepped up to the task of keeping him entertained as photos showed Louis and his 'fun aunt' pulling funny faces at each other after the military parade. While Sophie's face is obscured by Charlotte, 10, Louis can be seen with his mouth wide open during the playful moment that has since become emblematic of the Duchess' close relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton's children. 'Just Auntie Sophie and Lou-Lou being the absolute best together,' one royal fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter. 'I loved this photo of The Duchess of Edinburgh and Prince Louis today!' Other images of them together in the Major General's office at Buckingham Palace, before Louis and Sophie joined the rest of their family for the balcony appearancem showed them deep in conversation. One snap showed Sophie, whose own children - Lady Louise, 21, and the Earl of Wessex, 17 - were noticeably absent from this year's Trooping the Colour, pointing something out in the distance to Louis. Another captured Louis in the middle of making what appears to be a very important point as the young royal held up a finger, while Sophie listened in rapt attention as Charlotte, 10, looked on. 'Love Aunt Sophie with Louis and Charlotte,' another X user's post read. 'Such a wonderful family.' Reacting to the stills, one fan commented: 'Sophie puts the GREAT in Great Auntie.' Another said: 'It is so obvious that all the royals are very close. Lovely to see this interaction with Sophie, and her nephew and niece.' A third comment praised Sophie for looking out for William and Kate's brood during official events while they are 'on duty', adding: 'They are so comfortable around each other.' Some fans noticed how 'protective' Sophie is of the Wales children, with one person writing: 'She's got their back. 'We can see the kids are so natural; with her, so confident.' 'You can tell she really cares about these children,' another comment read. Sophie later stood alongside George, 11, Charlotte, 10, and Louis, as they joined the country in observing one minute's silence for the victims of the Air India crash that left 241 passengers and crew members dead. This year's Trooping the Colour is just another example of how the Duchess has become a source of unwavering support for Prince William and Kate - as she lives up to her reputatrion as one of The Firm's most well-loved members. Royal fans will remember how Sophie, who married the Duke of Edinburgh 26 years ago, stood by Kate during one of the Princess' first public engagements since completing cancer treatment last September. Standing on the balcony of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Sophie helped calm Kate's nerves during the Remembrance Sunday service after she hinted she was feeling overwhelmed. As they walked inside after the two-minute silence, Sophie placed a supportive, 'maternal' hand on the future Queen's back in an image of solidarity that inspired widespread praise for Sophie. Royal fans gushed over Sophie while praising her for putting the 'great' in 'great-aunt' The easy friendship and camaraderie between Sophie and Prince WIlliam was on show as they travelled to Cornwall for a rare joint engagement earlier this month. William and Sophie appeared comfortable and relaxed in each other's presence, as the royals shared a good-natured laugh after they arrived at Royal Cornwall Show on June 6. As they sampled local gins at the agriculture show, William playfully teased Sophie about going back for another sip before she quipped about his own tolerance for alcohol. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, who were granted their new titles in March 2023, have become increasingly important figures within Charles' 'slimmed-down' monarchy - especially in the wake of the King's cancer diagnosis. Together with Edward, the wife of the king's youngest sibling is also setting the 'perfect example' for Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, according to a royal expert. Speaking to Ok! magazine, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said: 'They are also serving as excellent role models to their great nephews and niece - showing that you can be a "spare" or even a "spare to the spare" and make a real success of working as a valued member of the Royal Family.' And while Sophie and Louis appear to be especially close, even the King couldn't resist his grandson's infectious energy as Charles excitedly pointed out the fighter jets during the flypast. Lip reader Juliet Sullivan told FEMAIL that His Majesty had a sweet interchange with Louis at one point on the balcony, ensuring he didn't miss out on the action by telling him: 'Louis! Look! The fighter jets!' Prince Louis trying to copy his grandfather, King Charles, and father, Prince William, as the trio waved to crowds gathered outside Buckingham Palace Meanwhile, adorable video clips and photos show the seven-year-old waving at the crowd in tandem with his beloved Grandpa Wales. Delighted by the cheers of the crowd below, Louis kept up his exuberant his older brother, and the heir to the throne, George told him to 'Stop' while holding his arm down. The moment proved entertaining to spectators, and royal fans have taken to X to comment on it. One wrote alongside laughing emojis, 'He's such a fabulous little character.' A second added, 'I love this kiddo. He's clearly being raised right to have the confidence to be so openly joyful and happy in a massive crowd. Wave away, dear boy!' Sophie, who was a favourite of the late Queen Elizabeth II, is known for her down-to-earth nature and was viewed by the Queen as The Firm's safest pair of hands. She was welcomed into the Royal Family after tying the knot to Edward back in 1999, and the couple have since welcomed two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn.

Alice Evans' reaction to ex Ioan Gruffudd's 'punch in gut' pregnancy news
Hornblower star, Ioan Gruffudd, and new wife, Bianca, are expecting their first baby together, which has reportedly left the actor's ex, Alice Evans, 'fuming' Alice Evans is "absolutely fuming" after her ex Ioan Gruffudd announced he was going to become a father again. The Hornblower star, 51, who shares two daughters with his ex-wife, 53, shared his happy news with new wife, Bianca, 32, on Father's Day, posting a snap of the couple with the caption: "Baby Gruffudd poppin' out to say hello!" While Ioan's legion of loyal followers flocked to congratulate the Welsh actor, Alice is allegedly 'horribly upset' after claiming she's been left destitute while looking after the former couple's daughters. Revealing her response to the bombshell news, a source said: "Alice will be absolutely fuming over this. She's made no secret of the fact she's destitute looking after the two kids, so to have him rub how well he's doing in her face is a real gut-punch." They continued to The Sun: "For Ioan to not only break the news like that, but do it on Father's Day . . . it's yet another horribly upsetting saga for her to deal with." Ioan and Alice formally divorced in July 2023. However, they are still battling fiercely over spousal support and custody and financial support for their two daughters Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11. Alice spoke candidly about the split, telling followers she was in 'excruciating pain' as she opened up about the break-up in agonising detail. in 2021, the 102 Dalmatians star said she was desperately fighting to save the relationship but said she 'can't see' Ioan coming back. The pair shared a joint statement admitting they were going through a 'difficult time' as their 13 year marriage crumbled. In a follow-up post, Alice took to Instagram to share a photo of a broken heart and another image of a heart on a blackboard with 'Game over' written across it. The couple released a joint statement saying it was a difficult time but they remain 'committed' to their daughters Ella and Elsie. "As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for our family and we remain committed to our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy," they shared. Ioan and Bianca went public with their relationship in 2021 after working together on the set of Aussie ABC series, Harrow. It was another two years before Ioan's divorce from Alice was finalised. During that time he went through a bitter court hearing with his ex-wife, where he sought a restraining order against Alice. Ioan and Bianca claimed to have endured a 'smear campaign' of hateful text messages, emails and social media posts from the mum-of-two. Ioan also fought Alice's request for more money for spousal support, claiming he had paid $400,000 (£294,000) more than he needed to. In court papers he called Alice's claims of poverty were 'exaggerated' and said it's a 'false narrative' that she and the children have been left destitute. In February this year, Alice claimed she'd been evicted from her home in Los Angeles after being 'unable to pay her rent'. The actress said she and her daughters had been forced to leave and had 'no way of renting even the cheapest room in the city.'

Sam Thompson spotted leaving Soccer Aid wrap party with glam sports presenter
Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson was seen leaving the Soccer Aid wrap-party in Manchester with sports presenter Jolie Sharpe After England's defeat at Soccer Aid, Sam Thompson was spotted leaving the Hilton Manchester Deansgate party with 23-year-old sports presenter Jolie Sharpe. Jolie looked radiant as she wore a white ruffled skirt and denim jacket, while Sam kept it low-key in a grey co-ord and white tee. The pair looked in high spirits as they made their way out of the party after an incredible weekend working with Unicef. The night marked a big win for charity as £15 million was raised for UNICEF and a tight 5-4 victory for the World XI team, thanks to a goal by rapper Big Zuu. Jolie, who runs the marketing agency JGS Live - an official TikTok partner with clients like British Airways and Chelsea FC - was photographed alongside Sam as the night wound down. Naturally, tongues are now wagging amid speculation that there could be more than friendship between the pair. Sam's wild night with Jolie followed a near run-in on the pitch with Zara McDermott 's new boyfriend, Louis Tomlinson. Though both took part in the match, they narrowly missed sharing the field. Louis had already been subbed off by the time Sam made a surprise return late in the game, having earlier withdrawn due to injury. Despite their history, after Sam and Zara split late last year before she began dating Louis, the atmosphere remained cordial throughout the duration of the charity match. Both Sam and Louis were seen arriving back at the hotel around the same time post-match, and reportedly shared a 'peace dinner' with teammates beforehand. 'There is no beef between the pair,' a source told The Sun. 'They know everyone's watching and just want things to go smoothly." In a recent conversation with Pete Wicks, Sam reflected on Zara's quick rebound: 'I suppose a lot of people look for validation in other people right? And they look for the next person instantly because it's like 'I need to find someone else to fill that hole and I need to find that excitement.'' He also shared how the topic of Louis came up during an interview: 'At the end of the interview, he goes, 'Look mate, I've got to ask the question that everyone wants to know... What's it going to be like with you and Louis?'' Sam continued: 'Mate, you should have seen the room - everyone goes, 'Woah, Woah Woah, end the call!' and I just said, 'No, no guys, I've got this.' I held my hands up to say just relax. I think I did alright and I meant everything I said. It's not about me or Louis or who anyone is dating, it's f**king Unicef and charity and everyone is going to be there for the exact same reason.' Sam and Zara ended their five-year relationship back in December before former Love Island star Zara, 28, quickly moved on with former One Direction singer Louis, 33. Their relationship appears to be going from strength to strength with Zara having reportedly met all of Louis' family.
