have officially confirmed that a patch for the PlayStation 5 Pro version of the game is currently under active development. The primary goal of this patch will be to boost the game's performance on
Sony
's enhanced console. This confirmation comes as welcome news to players who have experienced and reported technical issues with the horror title since its launch on the PS5 Pro. Despite a previous patch released last year and an earlier one addressing graphical glitches shortly after the console's debut, some performance problems have persisted, leading to concerns within the player community. Fans on social media and forums like Reddit had begun to speculate whether further improvements were still planned. However, the Polish developer has now confirmed that efforts to optimise and enhance the Silent Hill 2 experience on the PS5 Pro are indeed ongoing.
