Eid Al Adha: Salik to apply variable toll rates on Sunday
Dubai toll operator Salik said on Wednesday it will charge peak-hour fees on the last day of Eid Al Adha on Sunday. Drivers will be charged AED 6 during peak hours - between 6:00 am and 10:00 am, and 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm - and AED 4 between 10:00 am and 04:00 pm, and 08:00 pm and 01:00 am. Typically, drivers are charged a standard AED 4 for each toll on Sundays, with variable pricing applying to the rest of the weekdays. Rafid announces operational readiness for Eid Al-Adha
Rafid patrols will be present in key areas and popular gathering spots, such as markets and shopping centers, to support traffic flow during the holiday and provide immediate assistance to road users. Comprehensive operational plan Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, Director of Rafid Traffic Solutions and Road Assistance, stated, 'We are operating under a comprehensive plan to provide the best services during the Eid Al-Adha holiday. Our vehicles are strategically distributed to ensure full coverage, and we offer numerous services through the 'Rafd Smart' app to facilitate support at any time." Commitment to safety Al Shamsi added, 'We wish everyone safety and emphasize that in the event of a minor traffic accident, it is important to move the vehicle off the road if possible and seek assistance either via the Rafid Smart app or by calling the control center at 80092.' He confirmed that these efforts are part of Rafid's commitment to providing integrated services that meet the highest quality standards, in line with Sharjah's vision for a safer and smarter traffic environment. It is noteworthy that Rafid Vehicle Solutions is a subsidiary of Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Sharjah Government.
