Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James' beef with Brian Windhorst continued on Tuesday when the leading scorer in NBA history took another shot at the ESPN insider.

When James was on "The Pat McAfee Show" in March, the basketball icon took a shot at Windhorst by saying, "This guy who says he's like my (expletive) best friend. These guys are just weird.'
James told McAfee that he wasn't happy with how the NBA was being covered, which is why he and JJ Redick started the "Mind the Game" podcast last year.
A day after James went on "The Pat McAfee Show," Windhorst said on "First Take" that James' podcast wouldn't draw a huge audience because fans like drama over Xs and Os.

"Mind the Game" has over 71,000 followers on X and over 760,000 subscribers on YouTube.

On Tuesday, the "Mind the Game" X account posted a video of Windhorst's comments from March, followed by fans commenting how much they adore the podcast.
James, 40, then quoted the post by saying, "Long ways from being done!! Sucks they have to listen to 2 guys who know nothing about basketball talk about basketball! Sorry Steve Nash."
The "Mind the Game" podcast has been a huge success thus far. Redick coaches James on the Lakers, so Nash is now part of the show.
It has certainly been strange to see James beef with Windhorst, especially considering that the future Hall of Famer has taken the high road for the majority of his career.

James is clearly upset that Windhorst didn't think his podcast would do well. Since "Mind the Game" is doing great, James is gloating.

Aaron Rodgers ends months-long dance with Steelers, informs team he plans to sign, AP source says

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Aaron Rodgers and Mike Tomlin are taking their bromance to the next level. The four-time NFL MVP ended months of 'will he or won't he' speculation by informing Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers he plans to join the team for the 2025 season, a person with knowledge of the decision told The Associated Press on Thursday. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because Rodgers has not yet signed a contract. Advertisement The Steelers and the 41-year-old Rodgers had been circling each other for months. Rodgers even visited the team's facility in late March, driving in undercover in a nondescript sedan wearing a hat and sunglasses. While there were plenty of nice words from both sides in the aftermath, Rodgers didn't rush to put pen to paper, telling 'The Pat McAfee Show' in April that his attention was focused on helping people in his inner circle who were 'battling some difficult stuff' and that he didn't want to decide until he knew he could fully commit. With mandatory minicamp coming next week, Rodgers apparently finds himself in a place where he can give the Steelers his full attention. ___ AP Pro Football Writer Rob Maaddi contributed to this report. ___ AP NFL: Will Graves, The Associated Press

Summer Outfits So Chic, You'll Want to Copy Them All

Every item on this page was chosen by an ELLE editor. We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy. Don't look now, but summer is here, which means the time has come to showcase your hot-weather style with some fresh 'fits. Whether you plan to hit the beach with your crew or stay in with the A/C blasting, there's no reason you can't do it wearing something cute. If inspiration is lacking, you're in luck, I found the best casual summer outfit ideas out there, inspired by major celebrities like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner and street style mavens alike. Stick to basics with an airy sundress and summer sandals or perhaps—if you're feeling newly inspired by the NBA playoffs—opt for something sporty like a summer tracksuit and heels. At the end of the day, a cute outfit can make all the difference (at least, that's what I believe!). Check out the stylish summer outfits you can all season long, below. When in doubt, you can never go wrong with a pair of jeans and a baby tee. Take notes from Kendall Jenner, who accessorized this classic combo with loafers and a baseball cap for an effortlessly cool and casual look you can wear on repeat. Jean shorts and summer just go together, and what better time to wear your favorites? Throw on your trusty Adidas Sambas, like Hailey Bieber, and your go-to denim jacket for when the temps start to dip, and you're set. Take a page from Bella Hadid and tap into the Western trend. Center your outfit around a pair of chic cowboy boots, and then style them with a fun graphic tee and cutoff shorts. You'll have a trend-worthy outfit ready in no time. Don't feel obligated to dress up if you're planning to lay low this summer. Sometimes, a sweatshirt and comfy sweatpants are the move. A monochromatic look like this one from Jennifer Lopez still looks put-together and elevated, even when you're in a loungewear set. I anticipate no regrets. An all-black ensemble is perfect for any occasion, including a barbecue or picnic. A romantic dress and ballet flats paired with a dainty necklace come together for an ensemble fit for a daytime outing. Feeling like a woman on the move? A lightweight tracksuit is just what's in order. And if you want to give it a fashion-girl twist, style it with this season's trending aviator sunglasses and a pair of metallic sandals. Sports jerseys are trending for summer—and if you're looking for an unexpected way to style yours, consider a cute bubble skirt. Spice things up with metallic accessories, and I guarantee you'll be primed for a post on the grid. For something that feels casual but still elevated, consider a fitted cardigan paired with Bermuda shorts. Polished details like ballet flats and a leather designer bag will take things up a level. Nothing beats the heat quite like a sundress, which makes it a great option for your summer uniform. It's easy, effortless, and chic—not to mention versatile. Wear it to dinner alfresco or for your neighborhood barbecue. This is a staple that can be as dressed up or down as you want it. No doubt, a long black skirt is the most underrated MVP of your everyday wardrobe. For a go-to look, you can wear again and again, opt for a denim jacket, a classic white T-shirt, and easy flats (like the ones shown here, in the ever-popular butter yellow hue). It's a classy and casual look that'll work for nearly any summer occasion.

Can Small-Market NBA Finals Teams Punch Above Their Weight in the Ratings?

In the world of TV markets and sports ratings, the expression 'Bigger is better' usually applies. Yet after a pretty thrilling round of playoffs, the NBA Finals — a showdown between teams representing two of the smallest cities in the league — will put that assumption to the test. Tipping off Thursday, the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder both bring young superstars to the party, including recently anointed league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. But they also hail from Indianapolis and Oklahoma City, which rank No. 25 and 47, respectively, out of the more than 200 individually measured designated market areas (or DMAs) in the U.S., placing them among the bottom seven of the NBA's 30 teams. (Top-ranked New York, whose Knicks were just bounced from the playoffs, boasts a pair of franchises, as does No. 2 market Los Angeles.) Historically, major sporting events benefit from having larger-market teams squaring off, cashing in on the rooting interest in the home cities to boost the most recent examples, last year's World Series, pitting the New York Yankees against the L.A. Dodgers, delivered an average 15.8 million viewers, per Nielsen, Major League Baseball's most-watched Fall Classic since 2017, despite running only five games. That marked a 67% increase over 2023, the lowest-rated World Series ever, in which the Texas Rangers (considered part of the No. 4 Dallas-Fort Worth DMA) defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks (a.k.a. Phoenix, No. 12). Last year's NBA Finals, with the Boston Celtics edging the Dallas Mavericks, averaged 11.3 million viewers on ABC/ESPN, the league's worst performance since 2021. After a slow start, though, the NBA rebounded thanks to a slew of midseason trades, finishing just below overall regular-season results for the previous year. So are there any potential rays of hope for this year's matchup? one equalizer for any sports championship determined by a series (in the NBA and MLB's cases, a best-of-seven format) is for the contests to be competitive, with the series coming down to a Game 7 to determine the winner. Heading into the Finals, the playoffs have also put up solid results, up 3% overall, although that comes with a disclaimer: The Eastern Conference finals, featuring the Knicks, were up 10%, while the Western Conference (Oklahoma City vs. Minnesota) declined. Beyond the NBA and its TV partners (a roster that will shift, incidentally, with NBC taking a major package of games next season), several other entertainment players have a vested interest in the series, given that the NBA playoffs provide a platform to reach male viewers, especially, promoting blockbusters like 'Fantastic Four: First Steps' and 'Superman' heading into the summer movie season. Obviously, the interested parties can't make the host cities any bigger, but they can root for the series to be longer — and decided in the closing moments — in a way that might help a size-challenged Finals, to borrow from another sport, punch above its weight. Netflix's campy five-episode series 'Sirens' maintained its spot as Netflix's most-watched English-language show of the week with 18.2 million views during the week of May 26, up 9% from the 16.7 million it logged in its first four days on the platform last week. Meanwhile, buzzy U.K. crime series 'Adolescence,' which first debuted in March, finally surpassed 'Stranger Things 4' on Netflix's all-time most-popular TV English-language list, with 'Adolescence' standing in the No. 2 spot with 141.2 million views to date — behind just 'Wednesday' — while 'Stranger Things 4' ranks third with 140.7 million views. It's worth noting that viewers for 'Stranger Things 4' are likely to surge again ahead of the new season of 'Stranger Things' releasing this fall, as could views for 'Adolescence' given its potential Emmys buzz. The 2025 American Music Awards tacked on a considerable amount of delayed viewers to its original May 26 telecast, growing to reach over 10 million unique viewers across its CBS premiere, as well as encores on MTV, CMT and BET. After bringing in an initial live-plus-same-day viewership of 4.86 million, the Jennifer Lopez-hosted awards scored 5.2 million viewers after seven days of viewing, ranking as the show's biggest audience since 2019 and a 38% uptick from its last live telecast in 2022. Monday's finale of 'La Casa de los Famosos All-Stars' boosted Telemundo to rank as the most-watched primetime broadcast network, regardless of language, in the key demo among adults 18-49 as the network scored 559,000 viewers in that age bracket, according to Nielsen. The news comes as Telemundo celebrates its 14th consecutive week as the No. 1 most-watched Spanish-language broadcast network in weekday primetime among total viewers, as well as its third consecutive week winning the 18-49 demo.
