Reneé Rapp revealed Towa Bird was "mean" to her when they first met
During a new episode of 'Good Hang with Amy Poehler,' the actress and singer said the experience was "so hot"
The couple made their red carpet debut in March 2024Reneé Rapp is opening up about the hilarious beginnings of her love story with Towa Bird.
During the Tuesday, May 27 episode of Good Hang with Amy Poehler, the actress and pop star revealed that she and the British singer-songwriter, 26, didn't exactly have the sweetest start.
Rapp, 25, thought the "Drain Me!" artist was "sexy" and knew of her before they even met.
"I just always thought she was so f------ cool," she said.
Rapp recalled asking one of her best friends to introduce her to Bird, but they said she wasn't necessarily "in a place in her life" where she was ready to meet someone.
"I said, 'I couldn't give a f--- less. I'm not either, but I'm gonna meet her. We need to at least be friends," the Sex Lives of College Girls alum said.
After the pair were introduced, Rapp said that Bird was "so f------ mean" to her, but she "loved it."
"She's scary," the "Leave Me Alone" singer said. "Well, she's like from the U.K., so, like, her humor is super different. She's also just like, such a bitch."
Rapp recalled telling Bird that she had heard "so much" about her, and the "Wild Heart" artist replied: "Why are you talking about me so much then?"
Amy Poehler noted that Bird was "really negging" her.
Rapp also revealed that her girlfriend was the one to tell her "I love you" first."
At the time, the pair were "high out of our minds" on the beach, and the "Tummy Hurts" musician "didn't say a word."
Instead, Rapp asked Bird to repeat herself.
"And she was like, 'Are you f------ kidding me right now?'" she recalled before telling her girlfriend she felt the same.
Rapp and Bird made their red carpet debut as a couple at Vanity Fair's Oscars afterparty in March 2024 after hitting the road together for Rapp's Snow Hard Feelings Tour.
In the past, Bird gushed about working with Rapp to Euphoria Magazine, saying she was "so authentically herself" and learned "so much" from her on tour.
Prior to their romance, Rapp was linked to TikToker Alissa Carrington, whom she dated for almost a year before confirming their split in February 2024.

Livvy Dunne Shot Her Sports Illustrated Swim Cover with a Painful Broken Kneecap, but Says ‘It Was Worth It'

Olivia "Livvy" Dunne explained why her 2025 SI Swimsuit cover shoot "kind of hurt" when posing for the photos in a vlog-styled Instagram video shared on May 19 The former LSU gymnast revealed she was shooting on a fractured kneecap following her injury sustained on March 6 Dunne graced the cover of this year's SI Swimsuit issue alongside actress Salma Hayek Pinault, model Lauren Chan and fellow gymnast Jordan ChilesLivvy Dunne is a pro! The former LSU gymnast opened up about her 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue cover shoot in a recent Instagram video, explaining why posing for the photos was not the most comfortable despite the relaxed vibe seen in the final shots. "Fun fact, I was shooting on a fractured kneecap, so poses like this and the cover shot kind of hurt, but it was honestly so worth it," Dunne, 22, said in a voiceover that accompanied the vlog-styled clip uploaded on May 19. During her shoot, Dunne struck several poses in an asymmetrical zebra-print bikini on the beach in Bermuda. For the cover shot, she kneeled down in the sand that was covered by beautifully clear shallow water. The pain Dunne experienced during her SI Swimsuit shoot came after she sustained an avulsion fracture in her kneecap on March 6, barring her from future gymnastics competition at LSU. She's been on the road to recovery ever since. Dunne's appearance in the 2025 SI Swimsuit issue marked her third time being featured since she made her debut in 2023. She was one of four cover models selected alongside actress Salma Hayek Pinault, model Lauren Chan and fellow gymnast Jordan Chiles. The athlete spoke with PEOPLE exclusively at the 2025 SI Swimsuit launch party red carpet at The Hard Rock Hotel in New York City on May 15. She opened up about her future plans now that she's officially retired from gymnastics. "I've always said 'no' to opportunities way more than I've said 'yes' — so, I'm excited to do everything and be able to travel and to be able to do things on my time because it's always been around gymnastics," Dunne told PEOPLE exclusively at the event. "My life has revolved around gymnastics," she continued. "So, honestly, to be able to say yes to more things and potentially maybe do some more performing art stuff on screen — and I'm very excited." When asked by PEOPLE if that was a tease for acting, Dunne had a teasing response. "I don't know, I don't know! Stay tuned!" she replied. Read the original article on People

Trump ally Nigel Farage makes dig at Prince Harry: ‘You sent us woke'

UK politician and President Trump ally Nigel Farage had an audience cracking up with a cheeky quip about sending Prince Harry to the US. The outspoken anti-immigration campaigner couldn't contain his laughter after making a playful jab at the Duke of Sussex during an interview Thursday at the Bitcoin Conference in Las Vegas, Nev. 'In my country, we tend to be a little bit behind,' said the leader of the right-wing Reform UK party. 'America has all the new ideas, they take a few years to cross the pond.' Getty Images 'You send us many good things, and what you're doing in this space right now, this administration is good,' Farage, 61, said. 'You also send us bad things, because you sent us woke.' The British politician then turned to the audience, pointing his index finger in the air. Advertisement 'But you know what, we've got you back, because we sent you Prince Harry in return, alright,' he quipped. Harry, of course, famously quit royal life in 2020 and hightailed it across the pond with his wife, Meghan Markle. 5 'We've got you back, because we sent you Prince Harry in return, alright,' Farage quipped. It's a part of my life that I never thought I was going to live.I feel as though it's the life that my mom wanted for me,' he said in Dec. 2024. That is a fantastic opportunity and I'm hugely grateful for that.' 5 The Sussexes have since set up camp in Montecito, Calif., where they reside with their two children: Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 3. Getty Images for the Invictus Games Foundation Thursday's quip isn't the first time Farage had spoken out about the Sussex camp. President Trump's close ally launched a scathing attack on Harry in recent weeks — saying his comments about his cancer-stricken, estranged father King Charles' ailing health were 'inappropriate' and 'unnecessary.' 'It's good to see the king here. I understand the treatment he is undergoing is pretty intense,' Farage told GB News earlier this month. 'He's putting a brave face on it. It was why the comments from his youngest son were so inappropriate.' 'Of all the things Harry said — that's what I found most upsetting,' Farage said of Harry's bombshell BBC News interview. Advertisement 'There's no conversation the king and Harry can have that won't end up on Netflix — there's no trust,' he added. 'As I understand, the king is undergoing regular treatment. It's tough.' In April 2021, Farage yanked up his welcome mat in a tweet slamming the Sussexes for their terse statement on the death of Prince Philip at age 99. 5 Harry had previously gushed over his new life in sunny California, saying that he 'very much' enjoys bringing his kids up in Montecito. 'The British public will not welcome Harry and Meghan back, even for the funeral.'

Woman Labeled 'Pick-Me' for Saying Sister Should Wear 'Sexist' Dress to Rekindle Romance with Husband

A Reddit user is getting hate for supporting her sister's decision to spice up her love life with a revealing dress The sister, Becky, had asked her husband to pick out a dress for her to wear on their next date night — but Becky's friends thought her husband's tastes were "sexist" Becky's sister, on the other hand, figured it wasn't that deep and supported her sister buying the dressA woman is questioning her decision to weigh in on her sister's style. In a post to Reddit's "AITA" forum, a woman recalled a recent shopping trip with her sister Becky and some of their friends. Becky told the group she and her husband were in the "roommate phase," but has been putting in effort to get out of the rut — most recently, she asked her husband to pick out a dress he thought was "sexy," with the intention of her buying it and wearing it to their next date. Becky showed the group the photo her husband sent back, and got a slew of negative reactions. It was a clubbing sort of dress, the woman wrote — a short bodycon number with thin straps, a high slit and a deep neckline. "Like if you Googled 'generic sexy dress,' I bet it would come up," the woman added. The group of friends called her husband's choice "gross and sexist," adding it spoke to his values. Some suggested that Becky's husband thought of her as a "trophy," or that he had a sexist view of women, based on the dress. "I thought this was a huge overreaction. Like ... it's definitely not her style but I didn't think it was THAT bad," the woman said of her sister in the post. "So I told her to just get the dress and stop overthinking it." Just as they condemned the dress, Becky's friends condemned the woman for supporting it. Others in the group called the woman a "pick-me" for not thinking Becky's husband should love her as she is. The woman argued she didn't believe her brother-in-law was trying to change her sister, but the group was adamant. Now, Becky's sister is worried she said the wrong thing — she assumed it was a "support, not solutions" situation, she wrote, but is concerned she approached it incorrectly. Users in the comments widely agreed that the group of friends was overreacting, and the woman wasn't wrong. One argued that the dress was more or less a "fantasy," of which the point "is that it's fantastical." "She didn't ask him, 'How do you want me to dress?' She told him, 'Send me an example of a dress that you find sexy,' " one commenter wrote. "He never asked her to dress like that. She took that challenge upon herself. If she's not up to it, then she shouldn't do it, but that's not his fault or yours." Others noted that Becky's husband's suggestion wasn't unprompted — Becky asked for his opinion. One user said her friends should have supported Becky, who seemed to need a boost of confidence to step into the dress more than anything else. "She said she's trying to save her marriage. It's just a dress — as her friend, I would've hyped her up," another wrote. Read the original article on People
