Baiju Santhosh denies dispute with Mohanlal at AMMA meet: 'I only spoke in support'

during the recent AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) general body meeting.
In an interview with Manorama Online, Baiju addressed the speculation, calling it 'baseless and misleading.'
The 'Nunakkuzhi' actor said that there are some reports making the rounds on the internet and he doesn't understand why people spread fake news without knowing the exact truth. He said. 'There is absolutely no truth to the claims being made.'
What really happened at the meeting
Baiju explained that this was his first time attending the AMMA general body meeting in three years, and he had arrived late.
By the time he entered the venue, Mohanlal had already delivered his address. Importantly, Baiju stated he was unaware that the outgoing committee—led by Mohanlal as President—had already decided to step down.
'I was not informed about the decision prior to my speech. In fact, I wished for Mr. Mohanlal to continue in his role, Baiju said. He also revealed that he didn't know that Mohanlal had expressed a desire to step down.
