Rescue efforts continue to reach group trapped in Chile copper mine
The mine's director confirmed on Saturday that the body of one of the five miners had been found, two days after the El Teniente mine in central Chile collapsed around them during a 4.2 magnitude quake.

The rescue team is trying to drill through 295 feet of rock to reach the miners.
El Teniente director Andres Music said authorities are still trying to identify the body.
The body of another miner – not one of those trapped – identified as Paulo Marin Tapia was found on Friday, shortly after the mine's partial collapse.

Nine other mine workers suffered injuries, said Chile's National Copper Corp, known as Codelco, describing the incident as the result of 'a seismic event'.

Intoxicated woman's decision to climb onto CHIMNEY ends in disaster
She's no Santa Claus. An intoxicated woman had to be rescued after she got stuck inside a chimney at park near Los Angeles on Tuesday night. The LA Fire Department responded to call about a woman who had climbed onto a rooftop of a historic building in the San Fernando Recreational Park at around 8pm. 'This woman, somehow, was able to get herself up on the roof. She was seen by witnesses dancing on the roof,' San Fernando Police Sgt. Brian Woodward said in a video posted by fire department. '[She] then proceeded to climb up onto the chimney and began to dance on the chimney at which point she fell in, getting herself lodged.' Woodward said that the fire and police departments 'were fortunate to get her out safely.' The wannabe Kris Kringle was also seen by witnesses taking off her clothes on the rooftop shortly before she became stuck. Locals recognized the woman as a homeless person who is frequently seen in the area, and witnesses said she appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, NBC 4 reported. 'I was walking with my little baby, and she was actually taking off her shirt and her pants and she was on the roof... At first she wasn't screaming or nothing, she was just on top of the roof,' said parkgoer, Israel Olivas. 'And the second time I came around she was actually inside [the chimney] screaming for help, she was like, "Help! Help! Help, please help! My ankle hurts!..." and that's when I stopped... and I decided to call the cops.' Following a 'long and tedious' preparation, the woman was hoisted from inside the chimney and placed on a stretcher, according to the fire department. She was then lowered down to the ground being placed in a wheelchair and escorted from the scene. Swimmer dies after being pulled from the water in Horstead
A swimmer in his 20s who got into difficulty on the Broads in Norfolk has died after being taken to hospital. Emergency services were called to Horstead following reports of the man being recovered from the water at about 18:30 BST on Police said the death was not being treated as Coastguard said rescue teams from Winterton and Bacton attended the scene in Mill Road, alongside Hemsby Inshore Rescue Service. Sad twist in frantic search for woman swept away by floodwaters in NSW's Hunter region
A body has been found in the search for a missing woman who was swept away by floodwaters in NSW 's Hunter Valley over the weekend. The woman, 26, was a passenger in a Mini Countryman when in became stuck at Black Creek, north of Cessnock, about 7.50pm on Saturday. The driver, a 27-year-old woman, managed to swim to the bank with her dog and was rescued unharmed. However, the other woman was dragged away by the rapid current, with the floodwaters rising to between four and six metres. Both women were Chinese nationals working in Australia and had been visiting the Hunter Valley region from Sydney. On Wednesday, police said a body had been located by rescuers from the Volunteer Rescue Association after multi-agency search was launched. 'While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing woman,' police said in a statement. 'A report will be prepared for the Coroner.' The woman relocated to Australia three years ago.
