Cheeseboy gives Orlando Pirates advice before Kaizer Chiefs clash

Former Orlando Pirates star Lebohang Mokoena knows what his former side needs to do to get a win against Kaizer Chiefs
Former Orlando Pirates winger Lebohang Mokoena, affectionately known as Cheeseboy, has shed some light on what his former side needs to do to claim three points in the Soweto Derby.
'I think it's going to be a challenge, but they need to get over that defeat as soon as possible because they still have the league and Nedbank Cup titles to play for.
'I think the psychological aspect is very important. They just need to get over this loss and refocus on the remaining matches,' said the former midfielder.
'The derby is just going to make up for everything because at the end of the day, the Orlando Pirates fans don't want to see their team lose against Kaizer Chiefs.
'Every game is going to be important, not just the derby, but I think the derby will be a great gesture to the fans,' explained Mokoena. Riveiro's legacy remains untainted
Although Jose Riveiro will leave the club after failing to secure a second Caf Champions League star, Mokoena feels his legacy at the club is cemented. The Sea Robbers' Betway Premiership title challenge also looks to be in tatters after their 0-1 defeat to Sekhukhune. The result leaves them 12 points adrift of leaders Sundowns with two games in hand.
Key defender Nkosinathi Sibisi will miss the clash with Chiefs after his red card against Babina Noko. It's been a bad week for the Sea Robbers, who also tumbled out of the Caf Champions League at the semi-final stage.
Chaine; Van Rooyen, Xoki, Mbokazi, Hotto; Makhaula, Mbatha; Nkota, Maswanganyi, Mofokeng; Mabasa .
We could see Patrick Maswanganyi return to the XI, allowing manager Riveiro to revert to a back four. Tapelo Xoki should deputise for the suspended Sibisi. Elsewhere, Tshegofatso Mabasa is often the first-choice attacker in domestic league outings.
These sworn Soweto Derby rivals meet in the Betway Premiership on Saturday, 03 May at 15:00. They meet again the following Saturday, 10 May in the Nedbank Cup final. That match also kicks off at 15:00. It's crunch time!

Sipho Mbule's agent confirms offer to Kaizer Chiefs

Sipho Mbule's name is once again making headlines, this time as his agent, Mike Makaab, confirms that the 27-year-old midfielder has officially been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. Speaking on X (formerly Twitter), Makaab reversed an earlier stance taken in a FARPost article, where he had dismissed reports linking Mbule with a surprise move to Naturena ahead of the 2025/2026 Betway Premiership season. In a sharp clarification, Makaab stated: 'Let me set the record straight. Sipho Mbule has been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. It is up to the club(Kaizer Chiefs) to make the decision and we need to respect that decision.' Mbule's time at Mamelodi Sundowns has come to a premature end. Although his contract technically runs until 30 June 2025, the club decided not to activate a two-year extension clause. According to reports, ongoing concerns about his conduct away from the pitch influenced that decision. Signed in 2022 from SuperSport United, Mbule was once seen as a marquee acquisition for the Brazilians. However, his performances never quite lived up to the hype during his underwhelming stint at Chloorkop. In a bid to rediscover his form, Mbule joined Sekhukhune United on a season-long loan. Under coach Lehlohonolo Seema, he showed early promise, scoring twice and assisting three times in 17 appearances across all competitions. But his return to form was short-lived. Reports emerged that Mbule arrived at training under the influence of alcohol, reigniting the same concerns that plagued his time at Sundowns. Mbule's exit has sparked widespread discussion on social media and among Kaizer Chiefs supporters. Some fans see him as a creative spark the club desperately needs, while others warn that his off-field track record makes him too much of a gamble. Now, with his agent confirming that the ball is in Chiefs' court, the club faces a pivotal decision. Will Kaizer Chiefs take a chance on Sipho Mbule?
