Royal Enfield is set to launch the Flying Flea C6 in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025-26. Initially unveiled at EICMA 2024, the Flying Flea C6 marks the debut of a new electric sub-brand, distinct from Royal Enfield's traditional lineup.
The bike features a forged aluminium girder-style front suspension paired with an articulating mudguard—design elements reminiscent of pre-1930s motorcycles. This vintage-inspired look is further enhanced by a streamlined forged aluminium frame and a magnesium battery housing. A classic round headlamp and a minimalist single-pod instrument cluster complete its retro design.

The electric Himalayan seems to be equipped with gold-finished USD front fork. The test mules feature extensive cladding and an aluminium frame setup, indicating a robust build suited for challenging terrains like Ladakh's Khardung La.

North Shimla, Aug 14 (UNI) The Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) and other hospitals in Shimla are bracing for severe water shortage after heavy rain, flash floods, and rising turbidity crippled all major pumping stations supplying the city. Authorities have warned that IGMC could run dry as total water intake on Thursday plummeted to just 3.76 MLD against the normal 22 MLD. Air India Express adds flights to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun
Air India Express MUMBAI: Air India Express is set to strengthen its domestic network with the addition of three new cities, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun, marking another milestone in the airline's rapid expansion. With these routes, the Tata-owned carrier will operate across 41 domestic and 17 international destinations, totaling 58 points on its network. Services to Ahmedabad and Chandigarh will commence from September 1, 2025, followed by Dehradun on September 15, 2025. All three cities will initially be connected to the airline's Bengaluru hub, a key operational base that already handles over 405 weekly flights to 34 domestic and three international destinations. India and China eye resumption of border trade
NEW DELHI: India and China are discussing resuming border trade five years after it was halted, foreign ministry officials on both sides have said, as US tariffs disrupt the global trade order. Past trade between the neighbours across the icy and high-altitude Himalayan border passes was usually small in volume, but any resumption is significant for its symbolism. The two major economic powers have long competed for strategic influence across South Asia. However, the two countries, caught in global trade and geopolitical turbulence triggered by US President Donald Trump's tariff regime, have moved to mend ties. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is expected for talks in New Delhi on Monday, according to Indian media, after his counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar visited Beijing in July. That, as well as agreements to resume direct flights and issue tourist visas, has been seen as an effort to rebuild a relationship damaged after a deadly 2020 border clash between troops. "For a long time, China–India border trade cooperation has played an important role in improving the lives of people living along the border," China's foreign ministry said in a statement sent to AFP on Thursday. It said the two sides have "reached a consensus on cross-border exchanges and cooperation, including resumption of border trade".
