The group embarked on a farewell tour earlier this year that was first announced in October 2024.
The Mr Blue Sky rockers were due to take to the stage at Manchester's Co-Op Arena this week, but pulled out when a statement was released on social media.
Since their Manchester gig was cancelled, fears have been growing for their BST Hyde Park show.
"Really hope #JeffLynne is ok and gutted for everyone who was waiting for tonight's show in Manchester. Can't see my trip to see him on Sunday in Hyde Park going ahead. He needs rest. All the best Jeff," said one on X at the time.
"Sorry that ELO's concert was cancelled this evening, is The Hyde Park going ahead on Sunday? Hope Jeff Lynne makes a speedy recovery…" penned another.
"No!! ELO in Hyde park Sunday … He's cancelled? Please say it's not true," added a third.
But now, a spokesperson for the festival organisers has provided fans with a major update.
The spokesperson has seemingly vowed that the concert is going ahead as planned for this Sunday.
With many messages on X directed at BST Hyde Park, the account has broken its silence.
Replying to several accounts, they said: "As reported, Jeff Lynne was unwell and unable to perform on Thursday 10th July.

"We are advised that there are currently no concerns with regards to Sunday's performance."
When the band cancelled their Manchester gig during the week, they released a statement about Jeff's health.
The statement read: "Unfortunately due to illness, tonight's (Thursday 10th July 2025) scheduled performance of Jess Lynne's ELO at the Co-Op Live will not be going ahead.
"Jeff is devastated he cannot perform this evening."
The group added: "More information will become available as soon as possible.
"For refunds please go to your point of purchase."
The star had previously battled with a broken hand whilst performing with the group on his farewell concerts.
It seems that the huge gig at BST Hyde Park 2025 on Sunday 13th July will go ahead as planned, as per the statement from the organisers.
