Legendary actor William Shatner wants President Trump to restore Pluto to greatness as scientists claim to have found a 'new' ninth planet.
'So there's a 10th planet that was found in our solar system?' 'Star Trek's' Captain Kirk, 94, wrote on X.
'I suggest that we get Trump to name it and while he is at it; restore Pluto as a planet and put an end to the union's tyranny of the cosmos,' wrote the two-time Emmy Award winner.
The 'Boston Legal' star then suggested his fans recruit X owner Elon Musk to 'get the President to sign one of those Executive thingies to make Pluto a planet again.'

Some repliers expressed doubt that the President of the United States had jurisdiction in matters of the stars — but Shatner suggested the final frontier of Trump's authority has yet to be explored.
'Says who? He renamed a Gulf and the Astronomer who discovered Pluto was American. Seems like America has jurisdiction on things outside its borders,' Shatner wrote, adding the expressionless emoji.
The 'Rocket Man' singer was riled by a new study that claimed to have discovered a far-off and entirely theoretical celestial body that some believe qualifies as the 'ninth' planet in our dear solar system.

The now-dwarf planet was first discovered in 1930 by Clyde W. Tombaugh, an Illinois native, at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Outside of his extensive travels through the cosmos as captain of the USS Enterprise, Shatner has more recent space experience — taking the inaugural trip on billionaire Jeff Bezos' 'Blue Origin' in 2021.
'The covering of blue, this blanket, this comforter of blue we have around us. We think, 'Oh, that's blue sky,' and all of a sudden you shoot through it and you whip the sheet off you and you're looking into blackness, into black nothingness,' Shatner told reporters outside the craft.

GDANSK (Reuters) -Poland's biggest game developer CD Projekt said on Thursday that "Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition" had been launched on the Nintendo Switch 2 console, bringing it to Nintendo players for the first time. Back catalogue sales have become more important for developers due to the increasing number of delays to new games. Last month, Tomb Raider owner Embracer said it was leaning on its back catalogue to maintain cash flow while fewer games are being released. Since the release of "Phantom Liberty" expansion to "Cyberpunk 2077" in September 2023, CD Projekt has been relying on sales of existing games from its back catalogue. Erste Group analyst Krzysztof Tkocz said in a note to clients that the release on Nintendo Switch 2 "will have a significant impact on the company's results in second quarter and subsequent quarters". Country singers and parade celebrate Army – and (unofficially) Trump's birthday A massive military parade on the streets of Washington will showcase troops, tanks, weapons, aircraft – and music performers including country singer Scotty Hasting, a former Army infantryman who was wounded in Afghanistan. Country singer Noah Hicks of Nashville and DJ Nyla Symone, one of New York's youngest DJs, will perform at the U.S. Army's Grand Military Parade in Washington. The parade is a celebration of the Army's 250th year, scheduled for June 14 – which is also President Donald Trump's 79th birthday. A concert will feature "5-7 musical acts" with country music performers, not yet identified, according to Axios. Trump is scheduled to speak at the event, which is expected to draw at least 200,000 people. You can register for free tickets to the parade, but they're limited. The two-hour event, a military spectacle and unofficial birthday party, takes place on Constitution Avenue near the National Mall and starts at 6:30 p.m. ET. Events include Army parachuters jumping from aircraft, landing and giving Trump an American flag for his birthday, Pentagon officials said, according to Axios. Trump expressed a desire for a large military parade during his first administration.
