The 53-year-old is accused of dangerous driving and causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent.
Doyle, from the West Derby area of Liverpool, is also charged with wounding with intent to cause GBH and attempted GBH.
The dad-of-three appeared at Liverpool Crown Court today where wept throughout proceedings.
He was due to enter a plea but the judge adjourned the case until September 4 after more charges were added to the indictment.
Reporting restrictions were added on some of the complainants, who are aged six months, ten, 12, 13 and 17.
The court heard previously Doyle had "driven deliberately" into the crowd of football fans and allegedly used his car as a "weapon".
Merseyside Police previously out terrorism as a possible motive for the alleged attack.
Doyle was a Royal Marine commando but is now understood to be a businessman who ran a now-dissolved firm.
He has previously competed in triathlons and enjoyed luxury holidays.
Neighbours in his quiet suburb claimed his wife only found out about the crash when she saw the car on the news.
The carnage unfolded as thousands of Liverpool fans packed the streets to watch the title winners parade the Premier League trophy on an open-top bus.
It was the first time since 1990 that fans could celebrate a title win with a parade after their 2020 success came during the pandemic.
But the festivities quickly turned to horror when a dark grey Ford Galaxy suddenly appeared in Water Street.
Merseyside Police confirmed the car had followed an ambulance beyond the cordon as medics were called to help a member of the public having a suspected heart attack.
Mobile phone footage showed it ploughing into the crowd as screams were heard.
It then came to a stop as fearless fans rushed over in a bid to drag the driver from the car.
But the vehicle then lurched forward again - sending pedestrians scattering before finally coming to a standstill.
Fire crews arrived to find four people trapped under the vehicle, including a child, and worked quickly to free them.
Sir Keir Starmer released a statement at the time, saying: "The scenes in Liverpool are appalling - my thoughts are with all those injured or affected.
"I want to thank the police and emergency services for their swift and ongoing response to this shocking incident.
"I'm being kept updated on developments and ask that we give the police the space they need to investigate."
While Liverpool FC said: "We are in direct contact with Merseyside Police regarding the incident on Water Street which happened towards the end of the trophy parade earlier this evening.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by this serious incident.
"We will continue to offer our full support to the emergency services and local authorities who are dealing with this incident."

Man City hooligan names 'toughest' firm and it is not Manchester United
Anthony Phythian is a former football hooligan who supports Manchester City and he opened up about the toughest rivals he has come up against on the terraces A notorious former hooligan who has twice been banned from football games has named the most dangerous firms he has come up against while following Manchester City. And despite opening up about his 'hatred' for Manchester United, Anthony Phythian named smaller clubs when asked about the 'toughest' fans. Anthony, who famously stormed Ewood Park in a boiler suit in 2007, said: 'Do you know what, it was never teams you think, like the big clubs, it was always teams like Barnsley or tough towns like Middlesbrough. 'Middlesbrough would bring 50 lads and they weren't a big firm but f***ing hell, just every one of them was just f***ing at it. Just a close knit firm.' He added: 'Just small teams like that, Huddersfield as well. Smaller teams like that and smaller Yorkshire clubs as well. Barnsley, Rotherham, just rough little towns.' Anthony grew up in Miles Platting, Manchester, where he would fight in the streets and in school – with football arguments often being the catalyst. He eventually became a hooligan and he told The Content Cast YouTube channel how he always got nervous before scraps, and said you would be a "psychopath" if you didn't. And asked about the 'tastiest' fixture for a City hooligan, his answer was far from a surprise this time. 'It has always been United for us,' he said. 'Always. The rivalry runs deep, do you know what I mean? There was a real hatred. Well, there is still a real hatred.' However, while Anthony won't be cheering on the Red Devils when they take on Arsenal at Old Trafford in their opening Premier League game today (August 17), he did say he has friends who support his rival club. And giving a unique insight into what that was like during his hooligan days, he said: 'Yeah, the mad thing is, any time when we are not playing, I spoke to lads, United's firm, who would speak to each other on the phone and arrange where we are going and where we are going to meet. 'We would go and have a pint with each other and we would shake hands and everything else and then the day of the game they are f***ing bottling each other. 'It is mad when you say it like that, but, that was it. That is what we were all there for.' Anthony is now a family man with two daughters and a son and he has left his days fighting on the terraces behind him. Instead, he went on to become a professional boxer at the age of 37, and before retiring, he had a record of four wins and three defeats. And referring to his past on a previous podcast with Dodge Woodall, he said: 'My eldest, my lad, knows a lot of my past and now I try to advise him where not to go wrong as I did. 'To be the person I am today and be able to have the relationship I have with my kids is amazing. I thank God every day and know I am totally blessed with this second chance in life.'

Nigel Farage blasted by Angela Rayner over plans to axe key law - 'failing women'
Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner says women would be left at risk of revenge porn under Reform UK's plans to scrap new provisions in Online Safety Act Angela Rayner has warned Nigel Farage risks "failing a generation of young women" over plans to scrap new online safety laws. The Deputy Prime Minister said women would be left at risk of revenge porn - intimate image abuse - without Online Safety Act provisions. She also warned axing the new law would "open the floodgates of abuse". Under new rules online platforms such as social media sites and search engines must take steps to prevent children from accessing harmful content such as pornography or material that encourages suicide. Labour said it also protects women and makes the sharing of intimate images without consent a 'priority offence' - the most serious class of online crime. It comes after Mr READ MORE: Nigel Farage under pressure to distance himself from 'racist' Ant Middleton rant Ms Rayner is the latest senior Labour figure to clash with the ex-Ukip leader Mr Farage since Reform UK vowed to repeal the law. The right-wing party has said it would use a different means to protect kids online - but failed to explain how they would do this. Ms Rayner said: 'Intimate image abuse is a devastating crime and contributes to a vile misogynistic culture on social media that we know translates into physical spaces too. Nigel Farage risks failing a generation of young women with his dangerous and irresponsible plans to scrap online safety laws." She added: "Scrapping safeguards and having no viable alternative plan in place to halt the floodgates of abuse that could open is an appalling dereliction of duty. It's time for Farage to tell women and girls across Britain how he would keep them safe online." Earlier this week the Technology Secretary, Peter Kyle, also stood by his assault on the Reform UK leader after a huge row erupted when he said Mr Farage is on the side of predators like Jimmy Savile. He told The Mirror, the Reform UK leader 'should have regrets about the position he is taking and the hole he's digging himself into". He continued: 'Nigel Farage wants to overturn that legislation without saying one single word in practical terms how he will keep children safe so he should be deeply regretting the fact that he is causing anxiety to parents and just with his words, risking putting children in deep, deep harm's way." Reform's Westminster councillor Laila Cunningham responded, claiming: "Women are more unsafe than ever before thanks to Labour. Starmer has released thousands of criminals back onto the streets early with no regard for women's safety. I am calling on Jess Phillips to debate me on women's safety - she ignored the grooming gangs scandal and now she's wilfully deceiving voters on this issue. Reform will always prioritise prosecuting abuse but will never let women's safety be hijacked to justify censorship."
