
‘True Kannadiga': Delhi man asks stranger for breakfast in Bengaluru, gets a warm welcome
Amid the ongoing language debate in Karnataka, a heartwarming video of a Delhi man asking a stranger in Bengaluru to invite him for breakfast has caught the Internet's attention. The now-viral video features influencer and startup founder Sadeev Singh on his quest to enjoy a traditional, home-cooked breakfast in a typical Bengaluru home.
Singh approaches a house and requests the woman at the door if he can have breakfast at their home. 'Ma'am, I'm from Delhi and I'd love to try a traditional local breakfast. Can I eat at your home?' he says in the video. Without missing a beat, the woman replies, 'Let me ask uncle,' referring to her husband. Moments later, the man of the house appears with a friendly smile and warmly invites Singh for breakfast.
As the video progresses, the family kindly serves him a plate of Ragi Mudde, a beloved millet-based staple in Karnataka. Along with the breakfast, they also had a few words of wisdom to share with Singh and asked him to focus on his dreams and strive for success.
Singh also clicked selfies with the family. Sharing his experience after the breakfast, Singh said, 'People in Bengaluru are too sweet.'
