Scotland is blessed with a huge variety of stunning scenery - from majestic mountains and glens, to spectacular coastline and white sand beaches.
And the best way to see all the country has to offer is on foot - following the huge network of paths that crisscrosses the nation, from the Highlands to the Borders.
A new study, conducted by photo printing company CEWE, has identified the most beautiful walks by analysing and Google review and social media data.
Each location was analysed for star ratings, number of reviews and descriptive terms such as 'beautiful', 'stunning', 'amazing', and 'lovely' – words commonly associated with picturesque places that people love to photograph and remember.
From sweeping coastlines to hidden waterfalls, these walks aren't just ideal for exploring — they're perfect for photographing. Following on from its research, CEWE is encouraging people to step outside, camera in hand to capture the beauty of nature and history, with its free guide and tips on taking great photos and turning a simple walk into a memory that can be revisited.

British tourists have been warned over the reality of life in the Balearic Islands UK tourists in Majorca have been warned about the "sad reality" behind their dream holidays, which are turning out to be disappointing. European Union holidaymakers are also being cautioned about what to really expect from the Balearic Islands. Taking to Instagram, social media star Olly Bowman warned people of overcrowding at the beaches along the Majorcan coastline. Speaking on a video, he laughed: "The reality of beaches in Mallorca," while panning the camera towards the sand. He continued: "There is zero space on the sand." Before he took to the water and explained: "All of majorca has these little alcoves of beaches, there's a tiny bit of sand and it's packed with people." Fans and followers of the vlogger were quick to rush to the comment section, giving their own experiences of over tourism and crowding in holiday hotspots like Majorca, Menorca, Gran Canaria, Ibiza and more, like Lanzarote and Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Birmingham Live reports. One Instagram follower wrote: "Guys I understand the mass turism situation in most of Spain but what do you expect turist to do? Of course they will visit to see the beach, him providing the beach name will do NOTHING. It's already well known." As a second, who lived in Mallorca voiced their opinion, stating: "Look, I like your content, but I lived in Mallorca for a few years. I left because of gentrification and mass tourism. This comes after authorities in Spain's Balearic Islands announced they will stop using social media influencers to promote lesser-known destinations and hidden spots, stating that "selfie tourism" is taking a toll on the region's most popular areas. In an effort to ease the pressure caused by over tourism, officials had hoped that social media influencers - many with hundreds of thousands of followers - could help by encouraging tourists to explore quieter, less-visited areas. The idea was that by showcasing alternative locations, influencers might reduce the crowds at the islands' most popular and overcrowded spots.

Model with £7m legs 'almost loses limb' in close encounter with three sharks
Marie Temara, a social media influencer from Miami, Florida was holidaying in the Bahamas when she encountered three sharks while enjoying the sun on a small boat A model whose legs are said to net her a whopping £7.2million ever year has shared the moment she nearly "lost" one of her money-making limbs in a close run-in with a shark. Marie Temara, who has 2.8million followers on Instagram and is known as 'The Tallest Girl', was holidaying in the Bahamas when she encountered three sharks. The model, who is 6ft 3in tall, shared the encounter online, with the video amassing more than 629,000 views. During a trip to Compass Cay in the Exuma Cays, Bahamas in June, Marie perched herself on the side of a small boat and captured the moment on video. With one of her legs dangling over the side of the vessel and her toes hovering just over the water's surface, she was greeted by three sharks. The influencer seemed unfazed and even did a little dance on the side of the boat. The predators, spotted just inches away from Marie's leg, appeared to follow the boat's movements closely in the crystal clear water. "I almost lost a leg," Marie said when uploading the clip to Instagram. She added: "I knew there were sharks in the area, but I honestly didn't think they'd come that close. "I was trying to stay cool, but inside I was screaming. Those sharks were literally inches from me. My legs are so important to my career, and so it was lucky everything was ok." The sharks did not attack the model, but the predators have previously bitten humans in the Compass Cay area. In 2022 a eight-year-old British boy was forced to undergo a three-hour operation after being bitten in a shark attack while swimming in a lagoon. Marie, who is from Miami, Florida, has previously acknowledged that having her financial success tied to a body part can be risky. She recently approached a London firm for an insurance quote to protect her assets. Marie said: "I make a lot of money from my height and my long legs. My legs are so important to my career, and so it was lucky everything was ok. I'm currently looking into insuring my legs, so that if the worst should happen, my income is protected." The firm reportedly told the model that insuring her legs for her annual income of $10million (£7.2million) would cost her approximately $100,000 (£72,000) a year.
