Suspect charged with Intoxication Manslaughter for Abilene man killed at Possum Kingdom Lake
Justin Pillard was booked into the Palo Pino County Jail Saturday for Intoxication Manslaughter with Vehicle then was releaed from jail after posting a $30,000 bond.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department says Pillard was operating a boat when the boat's propeller struck and killed a 23-year-old Abilene man who was being pulled in a tube behind.
This young man, who has not been publicly identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Air conditioning units stolen from Wichita church
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Four air conditioning units were stolen from a Wichita church. It occurred at the Greater St. Mary's Baptist Church, located in the 1600 block of E. 17th Street. The theft occurred on July 16 as the church was experiencing the worst of the summer heat. The pastor said the theft is a huge loss. 'Some people that are in wheelchairs and stuff like that, this is a lot more for them to try to get over here too to the service and like yesterday we had to have a funeral for one of our members at another church simply because our church was not available,' Pastor Willard Dallas said. Gunfire strikes Mobile home, vehicle
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two homes and a vehicle were struck by gunfire on Jackson Road.
