Priyanka Chopra is championing the slinky maxi dress for the summer—and it's working for her.
On Tuesday evening, the actor attended the world premiere of her new film, Heads of State, in a sleek silver gown. She posed for photos on the red carpet at New York City's Alice Tully Hall in the maxi dress, which nodded to the '90s with its halter neckline and minimalist flare.
To go with her metallic look, the actor donned straight, slicked-back hair, which was tucked behind her ears to showcase her dangly diamond drop earrings. For footwear, Chopra slipped into a pair of elegant black pointed-toe pumps.
While on the red carpet, Chopra posed with Heads of State costars Idris Elba and John Cena, who looked dapper in their sophisticated suits. Out on the town after the premiere, the White Tiger actor threw on an extra layer in the form of a silver Chanel wrap that matched her dress.
Amid her New York City press tour this week, the star has rocked a variety of glamorous looks, including several slinky dresses. While attending a recent screening of her new Amazon Prime action-comedy, Chopra beat the New York heat in a breezy, white, goddess-like draped maxi dress that was equipped with airy slide slits.
Taking a quick break from press events on Sunday, the Quantico star slipped into another slinky style for a date night with husband Nick Jonas. The actor turned heads in a slouchy red Bottega Veneta jersey dress, which featured a plunging neckline and a knot-gathered, side-draped skirt.

The song was initially a global hit in 2001 for his co-writer, Sophie Ellis-Bextor on her LP Read My Lips, and reached #2 on the UK singles charts in 2002. This year's BMI Award for 'Murder On The Dancefloor' coincides with Alexander winning the rights organization's coveted song of the year award two decades back for his Santana/Michelle Branch 'The Game Of Love', which also won a Grammy for best pop collaboration with vocals.
