EXCLUSIVE Shocking moment police officer tells Christians to stop preaching the gospel outside King's Cross station - telling them 'I just think it's wrong'

Daily Mail4 hours ago

This is the shocking moment a police officer tells Christians to stop preaching the gospel outside King's Cross station - telling them 'I just think it's wrong'.
The short clip from the bizarre confrontation sees the woman cop telling the evangelists 'it's so loud'.
She continued: 'These people just want to do their journey, they're not coming here to listen to you.'
The preacher replies: 'If I was doing a happy, clappy song it would be ok?'
The officer, who walks away from the argument, responds: 'I just think it's all wrong.'
The pair were standing on the concourse betweeen the iconic London hub and St Pancras International, which gets a combined traffic of nearly 60,000,000 people every year, when they claim they were told to move.
Mon B, a preacher who leads Mad 4 Jesus Ministries, claims her team were told they couldn't stand in front of the barriers before the officer gave them her 'unnecessary' opinion.
It comes after a series of controversial confrontations between the police and preachers in London.

A post shared by MON B (@monb_1997)
Last year they were forced to apologise after Christian singer Harmonie London was told to stop performing church songs outside a church's grounds.
Reacting to the video, one horrified commenter said: 'I'm sorry is this officer paid to give out her opinions? Or is she paid to protect the public.'
Another added: 'You are not breaking the law. She should be out catching criminals not bothering you.'
And a third said: 'Luckily you're not paid for your opinions. You're paid to do your job and stopping peaceful preachers is not part of it.'
Mon B later claimed to have spent time praying with a second police officer, who was working with the cop who confronted her.
A video of them gathered together showed the police officer nodding along and appearing to thank them as they finished.
A third video, which appears to have been taken from the same spot outside the station shows her singing a modern Christian duet through a loud speaker.
Commuters quickly pass the group by as they sing Yeshua, a song released by religious group Jesus Image in 2022.
In January last year, the Met Police apologised for causing offence after a volunteer officer told Christian singer to 'stop performing church songs outside church grounds'.
The force said the officer should not have told Harmonie London, 20, that she was not allowed to sing church songs outside of church grounds - and she said she felt 'humiliated', 'sad' and 'bullied' following the confrontation.
Volunteer officer Maya Hadzhipetkova was accused of breaking the musician's human right to freedom of expression and religion today after she threatened to take away her instruments following a performance of Amazing Grace.
The Met clarified that the supposed breach was due to unlicensed busking rather than the content of the songs she was singing.
But they added: 'The officer was mistaken in saying church songs cannot be sung outside of church grounds.
'We're sorry for the offence caused and will take the learning forward.'
A month after, a Met Police officer sparked fury when they threatened to arrest a Christian preacher who was accused of a hate crime - weeks after a gospel singer was threatened with arrest for singing religious songs.
The clip was filmed by the missionaries on Uxbridge High Street in west London outside the entrance to the Pavilions shopping centre after a member of the public complained to police about allegedly homophobic comments.
The person who is videoing the officers says: 'All we're doing is preaching our religion. We've been preaching about the gospel and Jesus Christ [and what] the Bible says in the book of John, chapter three verse 16.
'For God's love of the world he gave his one and only son so that whoever, whatever person - homosexual, drunk, liar or a prostitute - believes in him shall not perish and have everlasting life.'
However, as the preacher continues to ask for clarification regarding the situation, two separate officers threaten to arrest him unless he provided his details.
One officer can be heard at the beginning saying: 'Currently there's allegations of a hate crime, a public order offence, section 4a [and] allegations of homophobia.
'I've not heard anything, I'm not saying I've heard anything. Someone's called us. It might be completely untrue or true.
'[But] if I do walk away and I see offences, and the victim wants to press charges... I could have failed a potential victim.'
They add: 'If you don't give me your name or address I have grounds to arrest you. It's code of practice.'
A second officer similarly says there has been an allegation of a hate crime which has caused 'alarm or distress in a public space'.
They then demand: 'Provide me your name now or you will be arrested. You can spend the night in a cell and we can do it that way.'
The nine-minute exchange, which features a number of cuts in the conversation, sees officers trying to reason: 'I'm not trying to attack you.'
Accused of being 'emotional', the preachers reply: 'We're just passionate.'

Love Island fans convinced producers ‘deleted' scenes as feud explodes ‘out of nowhere'

LOVE Island fans are convinced show bosses "deleted" scenes leading up to Toni Laites and Emily Moran's shock spat - giving the American a "villain edit." It came as US Islander Toni, 24, and Welsh beauty Emily, also 24, clashed in fiery scenes on Friday, with the former accusing her costar of being nosey on the ITV2 dating series. 6 6 6 Toni - who arrived as the first bombshell of the series - became annoyed after hearing a conversation between Emily and Conor Phillips, 25. The row then started after Emily accused Las Vegas pool cabana server Toni of talking behind her back. She was then warned by Meg that Toni had said she was being "nosey" and described her as "Little Miss Sunshine." Toni was also seen talking about Emily to Shakira, who agreed with Toni's views. Following their row, an exasperated Emily said she thought Toni was "just trying to cause a problem," and claimed: "She's f****g nuts." Yet after Toni had cemented herself as Love Island 2025 show favourite, fans were quick to smell a rat at her typically uncharacteristic conduct. One took to X to muse: "Toni is so calm and collected so she's peeped something crazy that Emily's done for her to act like that. PRODUCERS NEED TO SHOW US!" A second put: "I'm so confused where this random drama between Toni and Emily has come from?? I swear it's not been referenced at all before now." A third mused: "The cast is unhinged where the HELL did that come from with Toni and Shakira I was gobsmacked." One then added: "Toni's definitely saw something we haven't they're giving us the villain edit." Watch the moment Love Island feud explodes as Toni slams horrified rival in sweary rant Another noted: "Toni's crash out is valid because the producers have edited something we haven't seen, so I still support her!" One then concluded: "Feel like Toni's beef with Emily is so unprovoked???" BULLY BEHAVIOUR? Even though Toni's fans were out in full force, other viewers watching at home accused the Islanders of bullying due to previous instances of her gossiping about Emily without her knowledge. "Toni wanted to be the IT girl so bad and is now just trying anything to stay relevant causing problems when Emily hasn't done anything wrong, when actually she just looks like a bully," wrote one Love Island fan on X, formerly Twitter. Moment gang ‘of 30 teens' spark chaos in UK seaside resort & hurl chairs at waiters in front of horrified customers

THIS is the moment a gang 'of 30 teens' sparked chaos and hurled chairs at waiters in front of horrified customers. The shocking scenes were filmed as a group of yobs attacked a family restaurant at a seaside town in Kent. 3 3 3 A gang of up to 30 youths tried to enter the Italian restaurant, Sardinia, in Broadstairs as terrified customers looked on. The group were chasing another youth who had sought safety inside the restaurant. The video circulating online shows the youths run toward the restaurant before some start attacking two male members of staff at the front door. The staff closed the doors as the youth the group was chasing hid inside the restaurant. Objects were hurled at the staff before a bare-chested male picked up a chair from outside and threw it, smashing one of the windows. One staff member is seen restraining the other, who disappears inside while his colleague picks up a chair to defend himself. More chairs are hurled and a male voice in the video is heard shouting "get him bro, get him". Two girls are also seen filming the attack before the second staff member appears and chases one of the attackers down the street. A window was smashed and damages could reach up to £2,000. According to restaurant manager Tony, there were four or five tables full inside when the attack happened. He said: "They were trying to get to this boy who they already attacked to beat him again. "We let him inside and shut the doors, but they attacked the staff and threw chairs. "He was half their size, I don't know why they would want to do this - there were about 30 of them." The resident who posted the shocking footage on X captioned the video: "Welcome to Thanet #Broadstairs. "The sooner I can get out of this area, the better… getting worse by the week." Police responded by issuing a dispersal order throughout much of the town centre following scenes of chaos throughout the day. A window of another business was broken in addition to reports of underage drinking and street fights. Yobs were also reported hurling bottles at beach huts and people stealing from shops on the seafront. A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Kent Police is aware of incidents of anti-social behaviour in the Broadstairs area including under-age street drinking, fighting and reports of aggressive behaviour towards staff at shops and restaurants during the evening of Thursday 19 June 2025. "Officers attended and three arrests were made on suspicion of offences relating to public order, assault and criminal damage. "Two boys aged 16 and 17, and a 15-year old girl, all from Thanet, have since been released on bail pending further enquiries. "Officers are currently investigating these incidents, and a dispersal order has been implemented due to ongoing concerns relating to issues caused by a small minority of young people in some public areas including the town centre and beaches. "We fully understand that residents may be concerned about incidents of crime and disorder committed by the minority, however they should feel reassured that local officers will be on patrol in the area to provide a visible presence to prevent offences from occurring."

Arrest after suspicious device thrown into Belfast Islamic Center during evening prayers

Police are investigating a suspected hate crime after a viable device was thrown through a window of the Belfast Islamic Centre during evening prayer. The incident, which occurred while worshippers were inside, led to the cordoning off of the scene overnight, with the public advised to avoid the area. Local politicians have swiftly condemned the "cowardly" attack, emphasising that individuals should feel secure in their places of worship. Northern Ireland Secretary Hilary Benn expressed his deep concern, calling the act "shameful". 'Hatred of this sort has no place in Northern Ireland. If anyone has any information about this, please contact the PSNI,' he said. Police said they attended a security alert on University Road in south Belfast on Friday night after receiving a report at around 10.10pm. A 34-year-old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act and is being held in custody. 'Police received a report at approximately 10.10pm on Friday 20th June that an object had been thrown through a window at a property in the University Road area of the city,' Assistant Chief Constable Anthony McNally said. 'Officers attended and carried out a search of the building where a suspicious device was discovered. 'Ammunition technical officers attended and examined the object which was determined as viable and has since been removed for forensic examination. 'A 34-year-old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act at the scene and remains in police custody at this time. It is important to stress that, while the suspect has been arrested under the Terrorism Act, the motive for the attack has not yet been established. 'Detectives from serious crime branch are currently working at pace and are exploring a number of potential motivating factors including the possibility that this is a hate crime. 'At this time, no other persons are being sought in connection with the attack.' Alliance MLA for South Belfast Paula Bradshaw condemned the attack, which she said did 'not reflect the diversity of south Belfast in 2025'. 'This attack was again designed to cause fear among people inside the centre, who were at prayer at the time. 'Nevertheless, I am thankful for the intervention of a nearby passer-by and for the work of the police. Those were much more reflective of the true spirit of Belfast, where most people rejoice in diversity. 'I would like to express my solidarity with all those who were evacuated and my thanks to all those who worked to ensure their safety.' Sinn Fein MLA Deirdre Hargey said 'no-one should ever feel unsafe in their place of worship'. 'Acts like these, fuelled by hate, spread fear and division, and target people who have come to our communities to build a life and call this place home. 'It's vital that all political leaders speak out and stand united against this disgusting behaviour.' Green Party councillor Aine Groogan condemned the attack as a 'cowardly and vicious act'. 'I am horrified to hear about the attack on the Islamic Centre during evening prayers,' she said. 'I want to pay tribute to the courageous passer-by who intervened and prevented what could have been a far more tragic outcome. 'It is terrifying to consider what might have happened and I sincerely hope that all those present are recovering from this traumatic ordeal.' She added: 'This attack is yet another reminder of the very real danger faced by our Islamic community. The recent rise in racist hate and violence on our streets is a shameful stain on our society. 'We must all take responsibility for actively challenging racism, misinformation and bigotry wherever it appears before someone is seriously hurt. 'I urge those politicians who continue to hide behind the notion of so-called 'legitimate concerns' around migration to reflect on the consequences of their words. 'Such narratives are as disingenuous as they are dangerous. They help foster a culture in which hate can thrive. Frankly, they should know better.' Anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have information is being asked to contact authorities on 101, quoting reference number 1808 20/06/25. A report can also be submitted online using the non-emergency reporting form on the PSNI website, or people can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online.
