Sarimah Ibrahim denies demand for hefty pay for TV dramas
13 Jun - Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim recently dismissed the rumour that she is asking for a hefty fee per episode for any TV project due to her status as a wife of a royalty. The 47-year-old actress recently stated that people should be asking her, instead of speculating on something she never said. "I hope people can get to know me and ask me first before making their own speculation. I am still a working artiste... Because of my status, people think that I charge a hefty fee of RM10,000 per episode. This is false and they never asked me themselves," she said. Sarimah, who is married to Negeri Sembilan royalty, Tunku Nadzimuddin Tunku Mudzaffar, said that she never asked for a large sum when it comes to her work. "Maybe there are people who asked that on behalf of me, but I never asked that much," she said. The actress was last seen on TV playing the lead in the drama, "Ternyata Sebuah Bahagia". BTS Almost Charts A New No. 1 Song In America
BTS is inching closer and closer to a proper reunion, which may result in new music arriving as early as late summer, or perhaps this fall. Two of the seven members of the group, RM and V, were discharged from the South Korean military this week, after completing their tour of duty, which is required of all men by a certain age in the nation. While the group is not fully formed just yet – but all seven singers will likely be finished with thor service soon – fans of BTS recently turned their attention to a years-old cut and almost turned it into a No. 1 hit in America this week. The boy band returns to the tally as "00:00 (Zero O'Clock)" reenters the list at No. 2, missing out on ruling by just one space. That position marks a new high point for the cut, which reaches its peak seven frames into its time on the tally — but years after it was initially shared on the septet's 2020 album Map of the Soul: 7. BTS is beaten to the summit on the World Digital Song Sales ranking by "Shake It to the Max (Fly)," which has become a global smash. The tune is credited to four artists – Moliy, Silent Addy, Skillibeng and Shenseea – and it has now spent three of its 12 frames on this tally running the show. While BTS doesn't manage to score a new champion on the World Digital Song Sales chart this week, the septet has already reached that coveted position dozens of times in the past. The South Korean musical troupe has thus far collected 37 No. 1s and a total of 117 top 10 smashes, including "00:00 (Zero O'Clock)." As BTS returns to the World Digital Song Sales chart, the group also claims one space on the World Albums tally. The group's compilation Proof dips one spot to No. 10, which means that troupe fills one space inside the highest tier on both of Billboard's world rankings as of this frame. Proof has now spent 156 weeks — exactly three years — on the World Albums chart.
