DESPITE being an awkward teen who didn't fit into the conventional idea of 'beauty', Danni Menzies always managed to bag boyfriends.
But it was because her male school peers wanted to hang out with her 'hot mum', the 36-year-old revealed on Fabulous' brand new vodcast, Date. Delete. Repeat.

'The only people who would want to speak about my mum at school were all the boys," she revealed.
"Because my mum was the 'hot mum'.
'She always wore her thong above her jeans when she would come and pick me up from school.'
Danni added that, by contrast, she didn't fit in with traditional beauty standards during her school years.

'I had braces, I was spotty, I was fat,' she continued.
'And I'd get boyfriends because they'd just want to come home and hang out with my mum.'
The schoolboy fascination with her mum was so extreme that her peers would change the lyrics of the 2003 tune Stacy's Mom by Fountains of Wayne to fit 'Danni's mum'.
The iconic pop song contains humorous lyrics about a young boy's crush on his friend Stacy's attractive mother.

'My mum is quite fit, to be fair,' Danni said in reflection.
