ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)|Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has entered into a strategic, multi-year partnership with Gushcloud International, a global creator management and licensing company, powered by AI. Under the agreement, Gushcloud will establish its EMEA and India regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi, advancing the emirate's rapidly growing digital creator economy and reinforcing its position as a global digital media hub.Gushcloud's expansion is projected to generate over 100 full-time jobs across the technology, finance, sales, and legal sectors. Gushcloud will also launch a Creator Venture Programme (CVP) aimed at providing funding and business support to both local and international digital content creators, further boosting Abu Dhabi's appeal as a dynamic destination for digital talent.Founded in Singapore, Gushcloud operates across 13 markets and manages a global network of over 100,000 content creators, influencers and celebrities. As part of its Abu Dhabi expansion, the company plans to relocate senior management to the emirate, which is expected to be Gushcloud's largest international office to date.Director General of ADIO, His Excellency Badr Al-Olama, said, "Abu Dhabi is building a world-class digital media ecosystem that empowers creators, innovators and investors with vast opportunities for global growth. Strategic partnerships, such as our agreement with Gushcloud, reinforce this vision, reflecting Abu Dhabi's competitive advantages in talent, infrastructure and investment while accelerating our efforts to foster innovation-driven growth."In addition to job creation, the partnership will drive IP development in media content, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's position as a leader in cutting-edge content development and digital rights management. Gushcloud will collaborate with local entities to develop training programmes and internships for students in Abu Dhabi universities, fostering digital media expertise in future generations.Group CEO and Co-Founder of Gushcloud International, Althea Lim, said, "Abu Dhabi offers a strong ecosystem for digital content creators. As part of this milestone, Mubadala joins as the Title Partner for Alia's 2025 Formula 4 Powerboat World Championship participation marks a historic moment as the first Emirati woman to compete in the Formula 4 Powerboat World Championship, representing the UAE in upcoming international races in Sweden, Norway, and Italy. This is both a personal milestone and a meaningful reflection of the UAE's growing presence in global sport, and a proud step forward for Emirati women competing in high-performance arenas. Through the programme, she will gain access to support that helps her pursue this passion with purpose. Launched in 2021, MEP is part of Mubadala's commitment to nurturing local talent and contributing to a resilient, connected was raised in a sports-focused environment and inspired by her father, Abdul Salam Firooz, a former champion and longtime contributor to marine motorsports. From a young age, she was drawn to the water and began carving her path in the sport, steadily breaking barriers at the local level before stepping onto the global stage. Salam made her international debut in Norway last year, where she secured fifth place in her first international Formula 4 race. Government partnerships Al Ali also stated that the foundation works with key authorities such as the Ministry of Finance and Sharjah's Central Finance Department to foster a conducive business environment. These collaborations enable increased participation in bids and provide additional incentives and opportunities for enterprises. Expanded reach throughout federal contracts In 2024, 46 RUWAD projects signed 318 contracts with 42 federal agencies. The services provided varied from hospitality and catering to facility management and office operations. Leading contracting bodies included the Sharjah Police Academy, Kalba Municipality, and the Districts Affairs Department. Expansion of supplier base by 250%. By the end of 2024, the number of RUWAD members registered as suppliers with Sharjah's Central Finance Department had grown to 129, up from 14 the previous year, representing a 250% increase. This extension allows more projects to benefit from government procurement privileges. RUWAD members also closed 22 mutual deals as part of the "Tashbeek" initiative, which aims to develop entrepreneurial relationships while also boosting collaboration and service integration.
