
'Drugs' found in Coatbridge as three people charged
Officers searched two cars between 10.40am and 3.30pm on Monday, April 21, during which they allegedly discovered a "substantial quantity" of the drugs where found.
A 53-year-old man, a 35-year-old man, and a 43-year-old woman have been charged in connection with drug supply offences.

Reports have been submitted to Airdrie Sheriff Court.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland North Lanarkshire said: "Between 10.40am and 3.30pm on Monday, April 21, 2025, officers on patrol in the Coatbridge area carried out searches of two cars.
"From these searches, a substantial quantity of controlled drugs was recovered, including Cannabis and Diamorphine.
"This has resulted in two men (53, 35), and a woman (43) being charged with drug supply offences, with reports being submitted to Airdrie Sheriff Court."

She asked me to do it again but I said no," he court heard he sent a text message to her saying she was "getting money for taking in dodgy parcels".She replied: "I haven't taken in any more parcels than you."The court heard in another text message he had threatened to "grass her up", and she replied saying she would "let the boys know".Mr Munroe said he felt scared by the Griffiths, for the prosecution, asked Mr Munroe why he would allow a parcel for Ms Jones to be delivered to his address, to which he replied he did not Griffiths also said Mr Munroe had threatened to "grass her up" because he knew about the operation and was "part of this conspiracy", which Mr Munroe court heard Mr Munroe had no other contact with other members of the Montgomery, 24, who is also charged with conspiracy to import and supply controlled drugs, did not offer any evidence in his pair deny the charges and the trial continues.

Man (30s) and woman in late teens arrested after €240k cannabis seizure
A man in his 30s and a woman in her late teens were arrested by gardaí following the seizure of 12kg of herbal cannabis by Revenue officers in separate locations in Swords, Co Dublin, on Monday, June 9th. Arrest in Rowley Regis as hundreds of cannabis plants seized
