Remarkable Women check presentation to Feed The Hungry
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Monday, WSAV donated $1,000 to 'Feed The Hungry' in honor of Patt Gunn, WSAV's Remarkable Women winner. The check was presented to 'Feed The Hungry' volunteer Gabrielle Hatley on News 3 at 5pm. The donation will go toward fulfilling the organization's mission to feed, aid and restore dignity to the working poor and homeless by moving individuals and families toward self-sufficiency. Since 2009, 'Feed The Hungry' has served over 450,000 meals and fresh produce. Patt Gunn traveled to Los Angeles last month, where she joined 124 other remarkable women from across the nation for a once-in-a-lifetime trip, where they experienced the glamour of Hollywood while being recognized for their contributions to their communities.
