I tried a £9.99 neck fan from Amazon and it's a must buy
That's where a small gadget comes in – a neck cooler, which is a fan I've started to use to keep myself cool.
You've probably seen them around but if you've not yet made the purchase, here's what I thought when I ordered one for £9.99 on Amazon.

I ordered the Bladeless Neck Cooler from LYMYBETY for a bargain price and to be honest, I wasn't expecting much since it really didn't break the bank.
However, I was pleasantly surprised when trying it out as it even cooled me down quickly after a very hot and sweaty netball match – what a result!
The design is sturdy, but the fan fits around my neck and is quite comfortable to wear while it cools me down.
You can choose from black and white, but I went for black as I didn't want the white one to get marked, as it could be more noticeable.
The fan itself fits around your neck like a pair of headphones so you can go about your day wearing it.
Within minutes, I noticed a difference in how I was feeling – the fan really did cool me down, and with it being around my neck, it seemed to target the right areas to make me feel better.
The fan came with a good amount of charge already in it, but you get a charging lead so you can power it up for your next use.
You have to make sure the fan part is facing upwards to feel any cool air, but apart from that, it's easy to pick up and go.
It has three speed settings so you can have the air flowing faster or slower depending on how cool you want to feel with just a click of a button.

Overall, I think this gadget is one I'll use time and time again, especially when I want to cool myself down quickly or keep myself at a cool temperature.
I like that it's a gadget that I could pick up and know how to use straight away, it was so simple to get it working.
One thing I need to get used to is the slight vibration on the higher speed setting.

The neck fan can be a little noisy, especially as it progresses to the higher setting but I don't think it would cause too much of an issue when out and about.
So far, my long hair hasn't been caught in the fan and since it's bladeless, I'm hoping this will never be a problem.
Future uses that spring to mind are while on flights or as I'm stepping off the plane into humid air, during hot summer days when I'm sat at my desk working and after many a netball match.
For £9.99, I'm impressed with its performance so far and hope it lasts well as I keep using it.

I ditched my local garden centre for Aldi & found posh outdoor gadget for just £10 – it was 30% OFF in middle aisle
SINCE moving into my new home in March I've become obsessed with improving my shoddy garden. But as any green fingered wannabee knows it's expensive business with a lot of trial and error. 2 2 I've easily blown several hundred in garden centres around my area this summer. Where I can, I try to get the basic stuff from supermarkets, like small potting plants. But when it came to fancy lighting gadgets I decided to leave that to the posh garden centres - I don't want any cheap-looking tacky lights in my new space. I had managed to get some lovely, standard solar lights on stakes from Asda earlier in the season. This time, I wanted something to hang from the tree that comes over the fence. So, I ventured to the pricey garden centre down the road and found the perfect set. Two rustic bronze hanging lights, one with a sloth hanging onto the rope and another with a money. They were £15 each which is a bit steep but well worth it for a bit of character. But then, to my shock just days later I was shopping in Aldi and found the same products available at a much cheaper price. These weren't any dupes either, they appear to be exactly the same. Shoppers are saving more than £35 off a pair of New Balance trainers that are as fashionable as they are functional New Balance fans are picking up trainers hailed 'best comfortable shoes' with a 40% discount, now down to £57 from £95. The New Balance outlet sale provides shoppers with a number of reduced trainer options, but the 574 trainers see one of the biggest price drops. I have been recommending them to family and friends so much I give them 20 out of 10 and will be replacing them when I have them worn out." A second five-star reviewer found them to be the shoes they kept on reaching for when on holiday. The review reads: "Most comfortable shoes ever. "I wore them for the first time when I went on holiday just recently, I took lots of different shoes, but, only wore these every day. Love them so much I've just ordered another pair, slightly different style, so that I can be comfortable when out and about."
