Dolla members show love as Malaysia's first female K-pop idol Lingling and fellow KIIRAS members join viral ‘MWA!' dance challenge (VIDEO)
KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 — Malaysian girl group Dolla has shown support for K-pop group KIIRAS after three of its members took part in the viral MWA! dance challenge.
KIIRAS members Lingling, Kylie and Roah uploaded a video on Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube yesterday, performing the choreography to Dolla's hit comeback single, MWA!.
'LOVEEE! Support Lingling,' wrote Dolla member Angel on X along with a Malaysian flag emoji, reposting the video alongside fellow member Tabby.
Lingling, Malaysia's first female K-pop idol hailing from Klang, joined two of her KIIRAS groupmates for the challenge.
The video quickly gained traction online with over 67,300 views and rising at the time of writing.
Fans on social media expressed excitement over the crossover, with several highlighting the Malaysian connection between Lingling and Dolla.
Comments like 'MAKA KAMI RAKYAT MALAYSIA' and 'MENYALAHHH ORANG KLANGGG' appeared across X, referencing both the idols' heritage and energy.
Fans also called for a collaboration between the two groups, with one user tweeting, 'Okeii KIIRAS x DOLLA crumbssss??'
Fans also took to social media to make requests directly to Dolla, with one user tagging Dolla members Angel, Tabby and the official group account @dollaofficialMY in a post asking, 'KILL MA BOSS challenge please?'

Since its debut, the majority of Malaysians have shown great appreciation for the film, with many praising its nostalgic '90s vibe and the distinctly Malaysian soundtrack woven throughout. However, the most widespread acclaim has undoubtedly gone to the lead actor Nas Muammar Zar (Nas-T) for his performance as Borhan, also known as Keluang Man, as his portrayal of the character and unique acting style have been especially well received. While the film has received praise, it has also raised questions about the future of the Keluang Man franchise and the broader Astro Shaw Cinematic Universe (ASCU), which was announced last year. Questions remain about the future development of the concept, in addition to what lies ahead for the Keluang Man franchise. Raja Jastina Raja Arshad, head of Astro Shaw, said that the Keluang Man franchise universe will continue with the film Baling, to be showcased next in the universe. Penang-born ‘Mind Your Language' actress dies aged 80

(Facebook pic) PETALING JAYA : Lim Pik-Sen, the Penang-born actress best known for her role as Chung Su-Lee in the British sitcom 'Mind Your Language', has died at the age of 80. Pik-Sen rose to fame in the late 1970s as Su-Lee, a Chinese student whose broken English and Mao Zedong quotes brought comic relief to the classroom in the hit British TV series. Her character, with her trademark 'little Red Book', became one of the most recognisable figures on British television, and a familiar face in both the UK and Malaysia. Pik-Sen, the daughter of businessman Lim Cheng Teik, died on Monday, according to tributes shared by friends and colleagues. Actor Daniel York, who worked with her on stage and in audio dramas, remembered her warmly on Facebook: 'She was a joy – full of love, laughter and mischief. Her gift for comedy made you feel safe on stage. That unique voice and bold energy carried us all. 'We've shared the same agent for over 25 years. She'll be deeply missed,' he said.
