Motorcyclist killed in weekend Kingston collision
A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck in Kingston on Saturday, according to city police. Kingston Police said in a news release they were called to the intersection of Brock Street and Palace Road at 6 p.m. The 36-year-old motorcyclist was driving south on Palace Road when they hit the side of the truck going west on Brock Street, according to police. Man sent to hospital after injured with edged weapon in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a disturbance in Waterloo after a man was injured early Monday. At around 3 a.m., police said they were called to a home near Wissler Road. They said when officers arrived, they found a man who was injured from an edged weapon. The man was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said they believe the suspect and victim know each other. Police are asking anyone with information or video of the incident to call them at 519-570-9777, extension 6370.
