Watch: Record-breaking team reunites in Idaho to pass baseball
David Rush, who holds the most concurrent Guinness World Records titles, reunited with former neighbor Jonathan "Hollywood" Hannon in Boise. The two men had been neighbors and record-breaking partners for several years before Hannon moved to Michigan.
"We were neighbors and co-conspirators in over 30 world record titles. From speed challenges to coordination stunts, we've always pushed each other to the edge of what's possible -- and then a little further," Rush wrote online.
The pair took time during their reunion to take on the title for the most behind-the-back baseball catches in one minute, which stood at 30.
"We didn't jump right into it. It took a few warm-ups, a couple of mistimed tosses, and a solid rhythm to get back in sync. But once we locked in, the chemistry was undeniable -- just like old times," Rush said.
The men successfully took the record with 39 catches in one minute.
Rush said the record also gave the pair another distinction.
"With this new title, we believe we now hold the most active Guinness World Records together as a duo," he wrote. "From Boise backyards to official record-breaking stages, our partnership has always been about fun, challenge, and pushing limits -- together."

The 47-year-old man was identified and removed from stands at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool after yelling racist chants at visiting Bournemouth player Antoine Semenyo, police confirmed in a media release. Semenyo, who is Black, first reported the incident to the game's referee who then notified officials. The game was briefly paused in the 29th minute while the fan was removed. The game - a 4-2 Liverpool victory - was the first of the season for both teams. "Merseyside Police will not tolerate hate crime of any take incidents like this very seriously, and in cases like this we will be proactively seeking football banning orders, with the club, against those responsible," Chief Inspector Kev Chatterton said in the police statement. "There is no place for racism and it is vital that anyone who witnesses such an offence reports it to stewards, or the police immediately, so we can take the necessary action like we did this evening." The Premier League said it would also launch its own investigation. "Liverpool Football Club is aware of an allegation of racist abuse made during our Premier League game against Bournemouth. We condemn racism and discrimination in all forms, it has no place in society, or football," the home team said in a statement issued through police. Semenyo on Saturday addressed the issue on social media. "Last night at Anfield will stay with me forever - not because of one person's words, but because of how the entire football family stood together," Semenyo, who is from Chelsea but represents Ghana internationally, wrote on Instagram. "To my Bournemouth team-mates who supported me in that moment, to the Liverpool players and fans who showed their true character, to the Premier League officials who handled it professionally - thank you. Football showed its best side when it mattered most."

Soap opera legend mourns the death of Tristan Rogers
Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Dozens of stars from the soap opera world are mourning on social media after the death of daytime TV legend Tristan Rogers. Rogers played dashing spy Robert Scorpio on General Hospital for half a century. He died Friday of cancer at the age of 79. "The entire General Hospital family is heartbroken to hear of Tristan Rogers' passing. Tristan has captivated our fans for more than 50 years and Port Charles will not be the same without him (or Robert Scorpio)," the show's executive producer Frank Valenti said in a Facebook statement Friday. "I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to his family and friends during this difficult time. Tristan was a one-of-a-kind talent and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace." Emma Samms said on X: "I'm incredibly sad to hear the news about Tristan. I loved working with him and we were both so grateful that we got the chance to do that for more than 40 years. "He taught me to be comfortable in front of the cameras and he introduced me to spontaneity and fun even within all the trials and tribulations Robert and Holly endured." Kimberly McCullough posted a photo of her with Rogers, who played the father to her character Robin, when she was a little girl. "Trissy forever," she simply captioned it. John J. York, who played Robert's brother Mac, wrote on X alongside a photo of them together: " will all see you again."
