Jordan condemns Netanyahu's storming into occupied West Bank
Ammon News - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Monday condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli Prime Minister's storming of the occupied West Bank and his statements about preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state from one of the illegal colonial settlements built on occupied Palestinian land, as this is considered as a flagrant violation of international law and a challenge to the international will to support the two-state solution. The Ministry's official spokesperson, Ambassador Sufyan Qudah, stressed that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories, affirming the Kingdom's absolute rejection and strong condemnation of the continued provocative practices and statements of the extremists of the Israeli government, which perpetuate the illegal occupation and colonial settlements that violate international law and UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2334, which condemns all Israeli measures aimed at changing the demographic composition, character, and status of the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem. Qudah warned against the continued illegal unilateral measures taken by the Israeli government, as well as unilateral statements and actions aimed at imposing new facts on the ground by force. He also warned against the continued implementation of its expansionist plans in the occupied West Bank and its escalation plans in the region, which encourage the continuation of cycles of violence and conflict.

German foreign minister urges more pressure on Russia before Trump–Zelenskiy meeting
Ammon News - German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul on Monday called for stepped-up pressure on Russia, including more aid for Ukraine, to push Moscow into concessions toward a "just and lasting peace." Wadephul spoke in Tokyo as U.S. President Donald Trump prepares to host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and European leaders including German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. The gathering follows Trump's talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday. "It is probably not an exaggeration to say the whole world is looking to Washington," he said at a press briefing alongside Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya. "Firm security guarantees are central" because "Ukraine must be able to defend itself effectively even after a ceasefire and peace agreement," he added. Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and other European leaders met Sunday to bolster Zelenskiy's hand ahead of the White House meeting. They welcomed U.S. talk of a security guarantee for Ukraine but said Kyiv must be included in any territorial talks and its remaining land protected. Reuters
