Ingrid Tarrant, the ex-wife of Chris Tarrant, has shared her story of how she uncovered his infidelity.
The 70-year-old grew suspicious of the TV presenter, 78, 15 years into their marriage which began in 1991.
While Chris denied any wrongdoing when she confronted him, Ingrid's intuition told her otherwise.
She recounted on the Suddenly Single podcast: "Something was telling me he was lying. So, I thought the only way to be sure is to put a private detective on him."
Finding it difficult to plant a tracking device in his car, Ingrid made up a lie about why she needed to borrow his vehicle. After securing his consent, she said: "It took them ages to fit it [the device]."
Additionally, the mother-of-two hid a phone in her husband's second car to monitor his movements.
Reflecting on the ordeal, she shared: "I had to keep secretly charging it and there were moments when I thought, 'This is insane'.
"I'd be quietly getting the keys, shimmying out to the car to get the phone and charge it."
The experience led to numerous restless nights for Ingrid, especially as Chris would wake up early. Nevertheless, her efforts eventually confirmed her suspicions.

After being confronted with a picture that verified Chris' affair, Ingrid admitted she still felt shocked.
"Call me naive, but I was so surprised. I had to have a photograph so there was no mistake," she recalled.
It later emerged that the TV host had been secretly dating a 50-year-old primary school deputy headteacher for seven years.
When the affair became public in 2006, he issued an apology for the damage caused.
Chris expressed his remorse stating he was "deeply sorry" and confessed: "I have only myself to blame for the breakdown of my marriage."
The former couple, who are parents to two children, finalised their divorce in 2007 after 16 years of marriage.
Nowadays, Ingrid enjoys life as a happily single and celibate woman, who questions the need for another relationship. She said: "Women can just switch off, it's like food. If I eat breakfast, I'm hungry all day long.
"If you're not having sex, you go through the sex-starved hunger pangs and then nothing, I don't miss it at all."
She went on to say: "Do I really want to get back into all that with another man?
"I don't know that I do! I have a great social life, I like having an empty nest and I don't feel lonely at all."
Chris, on the other hand, remains in a long-tern relationship with Jane Bird, who he met shortly after he and Ingrid legally parted ways.

Chris Hughes' gushing four-word message for JoJo Siwa as they celebrate special day - after she shared sweet snaps of their cosy Cotswolds trip

gave a gushing four-word message to JoJo Siwa on Sunday as they celebrated a special day together. The dancer, 22, and Love Island star, 32, finally confirmed that they were dating earlier this week following weeks of frenzied speculation, with the couple travelling to the Cotswolds on Tuesday to meet his family. And over the weekend Chris told JoJo: 'You blow my mind every day' in a video posted to her Instagram Stories. As she shouted out to some of her nearest and dearest to mark National Best Friend's Day, she ended with a clip of her and Chris. She captioned the post: 'My bestest friend of em all' followed by a white love heart emoji. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Over the weekend they enjoyed time in the Cotswolds as JoJo shared snaps of them holding hands together on Chris' family farm. She penned in the caption: 'Nothing beats wholesome & pure days like these.' It comes after earlier this week JoJo revealed the moment her bond with boyfriend Chris blossomed from friendship to romance. JoJo and Chris had originally formed a close friendship while meeting in the Celebrity Big Brother house in April, but the Dance Moms star has now revealed her feelings for him changed when she returned home to the US. Speaking on Gyles Brandreth's Rosebud podcast, JoJo shared insight into the beginning of her bond with Chris, gushing that she was 'lucky' he felt the same way about her. JoJo also shared her plans to get a matching tattoo with Chris, as well as inks paying tribute to her time in the CBB house. Asked what first attracted her to Chris, JoJo said: 'When he first walked in, he was the only person that I knew what they looked like before coming into the show. I was ''Oh that's the Chris guy''. 'Initially the first thing that I took in about him was he was a good hugger. I liked his hug. That felt like a nice embrace. And he smelt good – 'he seems cool'. 'We just kind of bonded right away and it started very much so as friends. 'I wasn't looking to fall for him. He wasn't looking to fall for me. We just were having so much fun together. Whenever one of us was down it was the other one of us that helped. 'Everybody got to see when he was there for me at the beginning. There was a day – it was Easter – and he was having a really, really rough day. 'And he was in the diary room for a really long time and I was freaking out, because I was like 'Something's wrong'. 'Everyone was like 'calm down', and I was like 'No, something's wrong'. 'And he came out of the diary room and he was like 'I had a stomach ache'. And I looked at him and I was like 'you're not good'. And I just gave him a hug. 'We had a talk and he really opened up and he wasn't ok, he really wasn't ok. I was able to be there for him. We had more fun than I've ever had in my life in that house.' Reflecting on when she left the CBB house, JoJo added: 'Leaving the house, you're in this bubble of Big Brother, so leaving the house I wasn't sure what was going to happen. 'But I had all these realisations of my life, things that I wasn't happy (about), that I was being ok with that I should never have been ok with. ''I'm not happy, so I need to handle things'', and I did very quickly once I got out of the house. 'Then over a little bit of time I realised that I started to feel something for Christopher that I never intended, but I couldn't not feel. 'And I'm a very, very lucky girl because he was feeling the same thing.' 'We were watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire? And the answer to the winning question was serendipity and somebody replied 'and do you know what serendipity is, it's you and JoJo'. 'And we googled it and both of us freaked out because that was the million dollar question. 'The word serendipity is Christopher and I's favourite word now. If you read the definition of it, it's essentially finding love when you're least looking for it. It's beautiful. I don't know how the universe did align for Chris to come into my life.' Sharing that she hopes her relationship with Chris will 'last a lifetime,' JoJo then shared her plans to get a matching tattoo with him, with a nod to the ring that he gave her in the CBB house, which she wears on a necklace. She told Gyles: 'The Chris tattoo, I said in Big Brother that I would get this bamboo stick. And I said that I would get a little bamboo stick tattoo, and I want to get two other tattoos from the Big Brother house of memories that I have from in there. 'I would get that because as much as that relates to Chris, I can deem it not bad luck by placing more on Big Brother.' Despite jetting to Mexico to surprise her for her 22nd birthday last month, proceeding to mark the milestone with the singer and her family in Orlando, and later sharing a steamy bedroom selfie, JoJo played coy about their relationship status until earlier this week. A source also previously told that Chris also seems to have received the seal of approval from JoJo's parents, Jessalynn and Tom, who are not believed to have any qualms with the ten-year age gap. 'Her parents are all in for JoJo's happiness and see Chris as someone very special and are eager to see where it all goes,' the insider said. 'They fully support their daughter's decision. JoJo has grown up before our eyes, and will jump into things with both feet, so her friends aren't surprised that she is acting this way with Chris. 'No one is talking about the age gap or if they are rushing into things. Everyone just wants to see JoJo happy.' JoJo, who reunited with Chris in the UK last week, is so happy she may mention her new man in new music. The insider added: 'She has been thinking of writing songs about her relationship with Chris.' In a recent interview with Sunday Brunch, JoJo fought back tears as she shared how her parents 'think the absolute world of Chris.' She said: 'Him and my Dad are like best friends, Chris was actually telling me this yesterday, they went to the spa together yesterday. 'They're literally best friends, Mom Siwa she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us, because I've never seen my mom so happy, and it's... it's... I could cry. 'Honestly, it makes me happy to have everybody act as... it feels like we're a family, it feels like he's been in my family for how ever many years it feels like forever. 'He gets along as well as I do. I think he loves me because of my parents!' On Monday, JoJo finally confirmed that she and Chris were in a relationship, following weeks of speculation. While JoJo has been grilled many times on her relationship status, she had been noticeably coy, simply branding Chris her 'favourite person in the world.' But in an interview with Capital Radio, JoJo confirmed that she and Chris have made their relationship official, and she's started calling him her boyfriend. Speaking in a video for the channel's new series Capital Buzz, the dancer admitted that she's had to explain her viral 'Dream guest on my podcast' moment to Chris. She then added: 'I'm sure it's no secret to people, I am in a lovely relationship with a sweet boy named Christopher Hughes.' In an earlier interview with The Guardian, JoJo gushed about her blossoming romance with Chris. She said: 'It's not platonic any more, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way.' The Dance Moms star also hit back at speculation that their relationship is a 'PR stunt,' saying: 'Clearly, you've never been around us. I won't ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. 'Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I've never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.' On Sunday, Chris sent fans into a frenzy when he shared a steamy bedroom snap with JoJo on Snapchat. The Dance Moms star had been coy when asked about the exact moment she developed feelings for Chris. Speaking during a Q&A with fans at Pineapple Dance Studios on Saturday, she said: 'Loads of different times, loads of different times on different levels. I'm very very happy where we are currently, obviously, I mean I literally smile every single second of every single day now. 'One of personal biggest frustrations in my life now is that I actually don't know, I genuinely don't know, and I've spoken to him about it, I've spoken to my mom about it, I don't know the moment that it,' before snapping her fingers. She added: 'It was never like a light switch happened, it was just... you know what I mean? And so I genuinely don't know! It's serendipity!' Last week, JoJo took to Instagram to reflect on her London shows, admitting she has never felt so 'content and happy,' and described her first few days in the UK as 'the perfect time with perfect people in a perfect place'. Chris had attended JoJo's first show in London the previous night, but the star admitted he couldn't attend Tuesday's performance. Instead, she brought along the orange beanie he'd given her while in the house, after she caught Chris singing one of her hits while she was still asleep. She told the audience: 'This morning I woke up and all I heard was [sings Nobody Can Change me] he was singing, so I figured today I'd bring a little bit of him while I sing this next song.'As the show came to a close, JoJo wept at the crowd's reception, telling her fans that after once feeling she was 'one of the most hated people in the world,' she felt 'so special and so loved'.

Chris Hughes' sweet message for JoJo Siwa as they kiss to celebrate special day

Celebrity Big Brother couple Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa still look to be going strong as they gushed about each other in their latest loved-up video Chris Hughes' romance with Celebrity Big brother star JoJo Siwa is hotting up even more - as the former Love Island star told her: "You blow my mind every day." The 32-year-old made the declaration in a video posted to 22-year-old's JoJo's Instagram stories. As she shouted out various pals to mark 'National Best Friend's Day', she ended with a clip of her and new boyfriend Chris and captioned the post: "My bestest friend of em all" followed by a white love heart emoji. ‌ As JoJo shared more loved up snaps of her and Chris, the pair were seen kissing and cuddling. It comes just a day after JoJo posted a series of snaps from their couples' getaway to the Cotswolds as the pair reunited in the UK to spend some time with Chris' family. ‌ The pair were seen messing around visiting horses, with one shot showing Chris pick up JoJo and carry her over his shoulder. In another, the pair sweetly held hands. The duo were also seen enjoying cooked breakfasts, sweet treats and dinners as they continued their blossoming relationship. JoJo captioned the post: "Nothing beats wholesome and pure days like these." The Dance Moms star captioned each of her 11 images on her Instagram upload, explaining how the occasion was the first time she had touched a horse since being thrown off one eight years ago during filming. On one snap of Chris riding a horse, she wrote: "Gorgeous boy riding a gorgeous horse." Revealing how the trip had helped her get over her fear of horses, JoJo said: "I've been scared to be around them haha. Loved this though after I warmed up." In her final picture, JoJo zoomed in on the couple holding each other's hand. She adorably wrote: "The one thing that can make everything better," alongside a white heart emoji. Chris' brother Ben was among those sharing sweet responses to the photo dump in the comments section - and it seems JoJo is a hit with Chris' family. He joked: "Can I take credit for the full English breakfast?? Miss you already!!!" ‌ Showing how serious things are getting between them, JoJo recently revealed how she wants to get matching tattoos with Chris as she wants their romance to "last for a lifetime". What started as a close friendship between the pair started to raise eyebrows as the duo got up close and personal on this year's Celebrity Big Brother, frequently kissing on the cheek and even cuddling in the same bed – and JoJo has now confirmed the pair are officially more than friends. Speaking on the Rosebud podcast with Gyles Brandreth, JoJo gushed about what initially drew her to Chris, saying: "When he first walked in, he was the only person that I knew what they looked like before coming into the show. I was, 'Oh that's the Chris guy'. Initially the first thing that I took in about him was he was a good hugger. I liked his hug. That felt like a nice embrace. And he smelt good." ‌ Explaining how their feelings naturally deepened over time, she shared: "We just kind of bonded right away and it started very much so as friends. I wasn't looking to fall for him. He wasn't looking to fall for me. We just were having so much fun together." She even admitted she is considering moving to the UK permanently to be with Chris. "I want Chris to last for a lifetime," she gushed. Revealing her 'Chris tattoo' plans, JoJo added: "The Chris tattoo, I said in Big Brother, that I would get this bamboo stick... and I want to get two other tattoos from the Big Brother house of memories that I have from in there." While it's seen as unlucky to get a tattoo of a new partner in case the relationship goes wrong and you are stuck with a daily reminder of them, JoJo is hoping to bypass any consequences by making sure the tattoo is primarily a reminder of her Celeb Big Brother experience. Some fans have questioned whether the relationship is just a PR stunt, but JoJo recently shut those rumours down, telling The Guardian: "It's not platonic any more... I'm absolutely head over heels for him, and he's the same way. Clearly, [the trolls have] never been around us. The happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now."

Dakota Johnson spotted 'kissing' co-star after Chris Martin's on-stage message

Dakota Johnson was seen with her on-screen love interest and co-star Chris Evans' arm around her waist at the New York City premiere of her upcoming romantic comedy, Materialists Dakota Johnson 'kissed' her Materialists co-star at the New York City premiere of her new movie on Saturday night, after her ex Chris Martin supported her upcoming movie. While she attended the event and posed for photos, the 35-year-old had Chris Evans' arm tightly wrapped around her waist. The stunning actress looked in high spirits as she stood in front of the cameras with Marvel star Evans, but it wasn't him she locked lips with. In Pedro Pascal's absence, she held up a cardboard cut-out of her on-screen love interest and kissed Pascal's photo, who plays her 'perfect match' in the film. ‌ Materialists is Dakota's upcoming rom-com, set for release in August. In it, she plays protagonist Lucy, a young, ambitious New York City matchmaker, who finds herself unable to choose between her 'perfect match' and her imperfect ex. ‌ The love triangle her character finds herself embroiled in is between The Last of Us actor Pascal's charming billionaire Harry, and Marvel star Chris Evans, who plays her college sweetheart. Acclaimed filmmaker Celine Song is at the helm, with much-hyped movie hoping to revive the genre at the box office. Dakota's light-hearted display comes as her rumoured ex Chris Martin showed public support for her new movie, urging a sold-out stadium of Coldplay fans to go and see it. The 48-year-old singer was reported to have split from his partner of eight years this week. Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota has been reported to be "devastated" by the break-up, but sources have also suggested it was a long-time coming. Amiable Chris still showed his support to Dakota, who has reportedly been just as upset about losing contact with his children, after growing close to them. Chris was closing his Allegiant Stadium gig in Las Vegas, addressing the audience to say: "Thank you so much everybody." He added: "Be kind to yourself, be kind to each other. Don't forget to see Materialists! We love you!" ‌ But off the big screen, Dakota's love life has been just as challenging, with the actress' rep forced to deny break-up rumours back in August 2024. On Monday June 2, Dakota was seen out in New York without her engagement ring. Neither Dakota nor Chris has confirmed or spoken on the reports yet, but a source has claimed that the rumoured split has been "painful" for Dakota. Speaking to the Sun, a they revealed: "Dakota wanted this relationship to work. "She not only loves Chris, but his two kids, and that loss feels incredibly painful. The decision to end things was amicable, but Dakota is finding it hard. Over the past year, it became clear that their relationship had stalled and wasn't moving forwards." ‌ As Coldplay's world tour continues, Dakota has been working on promoting Materialists, as well as her other upcoming film Verity. The latter is set for release in 2026, and is an adaptation of It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover's novel of the same name. Although they have had to shut down split rumours before, the Mail reports that this time, it's final. An insider told the paper: "Dakota held a flame for them to be together because she loved him so much and loved his kids so much. "Breakups aren't instant and they continued to breakup and makeup and sometimes things would work when they were away from each other, while they were working because absence makes the heart grow fonder, but then they'd get back together and little things just kept adding up to where they weren't right for each other anymore... Dakota is devastated that she isn't going to be around his kids as much anymore, but wants them to know that she is always there for them."
