A statement from Swansea's official X account confirmed the news.
It read: "
"Andy is currently in a stable condition in hospital.
"We're all with you Robbo".

Robinson became a fan favourite at both Leeds and Swansea and has continued his support of the Swans since leaving the club in 2008.
The wide midfielder played over 231 games for the Welsh club and is now often reporting on their games as a BBC Sport

As well as representing Leeds and Swansea, Robinson played for Tranmere, Ammanford, Stockport and Shrewsbury, before retiring in 2021.
Robinson got his big break into professional football in 2003, when he was offered a trial by hen Swansea boss Brian Flynn after impressing at an amateur side in his home town of Birkenhead.
Across his career Robinson won the EFL Trophy and a League One title with the Swans.
While he is remembered fondly by Swansea fans as the last player to ever score at iconic stadium Vetch Field, netting the winning goal in the FAW Premier Cup final against Wrexham in 2005.

Derry driver Devine leading the way with solid Ulster Rally lead
Derry's Callum Devine (Skoda Fabia RS Rally2) leads the way in the Newry-based Modern Tyres Ulster Rally, the penultimate round of the NAPA Auto Parts Irish Tarmac Rally Championship. At the end of Friday's opening leg of six stages he holds a 12.9-second lead over Donegal's Declan Boyle, also in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 with Welsh driver Osian Pryce (Hyundai i20 Rally2) 15.9 seconds further behind in third. Stating his preference for the opening stage rather than the remaining two stages of the loop, it wasn't surprising that Devine took a 9.2s lead on the first pass through the Slieve Roe stage to the north of Rostrevor. Boyle was next followed by Welsh ace Pryce, who was 6.3s further behind in third with Michael Boyle's Skoda Fabia another 2.5s behind. Pryce was best on SS2 (Camlough) where Michael Boyle's rally ended when he had an excursion that ripped two wheels from his Skoda Fabia. Out on SS3 Slieve Gullion, Declan Boyle became the third driver in as many stages to post the fastest stage time as the crews returned to the well-appointed service park at the Modern Tyres complex. There, Devine, who led Declan Boyle by just 3.9s reflected on his position. "All's good," he said. "I enjoyed the first stage but then the other two were extremely tough, especially with the jumps, it was a case of managing my pace. I'm concentrating on the championship, that is my target, That first stage, you need to be so committed to be on it and I'm looking forward to going out on it again for SS4, as for the other two, it's all about finishing them." Meanwhile, second placed Declan Boyle was happy with his pace while Pryce, on what was his first outing in some 12 months said: "I am trying to get the feeling with the car and the way I like it. It's a new car for me, new co-driver (Andy Hayes) and new team, a lot to learn." Pryce was 10.9s off top spot and 23.4 ahead of the VW Polo GTi R5 of an untroubled Darren Gass with Matthew Boyle (Ford Fiesta Rally2) in fifth. Donegal's Kevin Eves (Ford Fiesta Rally2) completed the top six. Extending his lead to 8.1s on the repeat of Slieve Rue, Devine stayed out of trouble and signed off with the best time on SS6 to lead by 12.9s. Boyle continued to punch in strong times as Pryce, who won the night's penultimate stage, reckoned some of the changes worked. An impressive performance saw Matthew Boyle (Ford Fiesta Rally2) slot into fourth from fellow Donegal driver Eves in a similar car with British driver Mark Kelly (VW Polo GTi R5) on his maiden Ulster Rally outing completing the top six. Unfortunately, Armagh's Gass, who injured three ribs in a workplace accident during the week, was forced to retire at the end of SS4 as the landings over the crests was causing him further discomfort. Laois driver Aidan Bourke (Ford Escort) leads the Modified category. There are six stages in Saturday's second and final leg.

Sunsport revealed earlier this month that Wilshere was a leading candidate to take charge of Arsenal's under-21s with Mehmet Ali having joined Brentford's first-team coaching staff. In July 2022, four days after announcing his retirement from playing, the former England midfielder was announced as the new head coach of Arsenal under-18s and he led them to the final of the 2022-23 FA Youth Cup final. He then left Arsenal last October to take over as first-team coach at Carrow Road and was then interim boss for the last two games of the season before departing. Determined to get back into the game, he was interviewed for the Plymouth manager's job in June but it was given to Tom Cleverley. The likes of Wilshere, so used to dealing with the media, do not really need to do these pretend press conferences where we test the interviewees in fake scenarios. Speaking to Wilshere after the session, where he revealed he was training for the London Marathon, he spoke with passion about coaching and seemed really focused. In terms of media training, Arsenal used to do something similar with their young players. I remember one day when the club asked me to speak to some of their youngsters at London Colney, the club were hoping Wilshere would be present but he was unable to make it. He had to play a cup tie for Bolton, where he was on loan. However, during the session, there was a young player who seemed incredibly bright and really inquisitive. LEEDS UNITED HAVE signed former Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer as the newly-promoted club gear up for their Premier League campaign. Calvert-Lewin left Everton at the end of last season and has agreed a move to Elland Road just days before Leeds open their top-flight campaign against his former team. The 28-year-old scored 71 goals in 273 games across nine years at Everton but injuries stalled his career in recent seasons. Calvert-Lewin will not be included for Monday's meeting with Everton, but Leeds boss Daniel Farke expects the striker to make a significant contribution to their survival bid. It's important for all new signings, we want to sign players who have delivered on a top level, but they are also in a good age, on their way up the hill, not the way down,' he said.
