The glittering evening took place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, where fans lined up to welcome their favourite artists from across Asia.
On the red carpet, stars from China including Shen Yue, Ouyang Nana, Chen Feiyu, Bi Wenjun, Zhang Yuxi and Zhan Xuan graced the spotlight. They were joined by Korean celebrities such as Jessica Jung, Lee Soo-hyuk, Park Jae-chan and girl group Kep1er.
Thai artists also shone brightly on home ground, with appearances from Kanawut 'Gulf' Traipipattanapong, Thanaphat 'Film' Kawila, Noppakao 'Kao' Dechaphatthanakun, PP Krit, Waranuch 'Noon' Bhirombhakdi, Prin 'Mark' Suparat, Thanasap 'Bie' Pakdee, Pimchanok 'Baifern' Luevisadpaibul, Yossawat 'Euro' Sittiwong, Yuk Songpaisan, Thitipong 'Ford' Thitipong, and Wasuthorn 'Pete'.

Influencer shocked by B4,000 omelette
A London-based Thai influencer has gone viral with a complaint about a high extra charge that was not on the menu at Bangkok's most famous street-food restaurant, the Michelin-starred Raan Jay Fai. PEACHII, a YouTuber with 1.6 million followers, said she took a foreign friend to dine at Raan Jay Fai, renowned for its crabmeat omelette. Writing on her X account, she said she ordered as usual from the menu, which clearly listed the crabmeat omelette at 1,500 baht. However, when the bill came, she was charged 4,000 baht. The restaurant later told her the higher price was applied because it had used crab from a 'better source', she said. The menu listed the crab meat omelette at 1,500 baht. PEACHII said that the dish was delicious and the crabmeat of high quality, but the problem lay in the fact that the higher price was not specified anywhere on the menu. She said she neither ordered any special variation, nor was she informed in advance that a different type of crabmeat with a higher price would be used. The post made on Aug 15 quickly went viral, garnering 9 million views on X within 16 hours, with many netizens weighing in. It now remains to be seen how the restaurant will respond. Jay Fai, located in a small soi off Mahachai Road in Phra Nakhon district of Bangkok, received one star in the first Bangkok 2018 Michelin Guide.

Govt hails 'Alien: Earth' benefits
The government is inviting tourists to visit filming locations of the global series Alien: Earth, which chose seven Thai provinces as its primary setting. The production, now airing worldwide on Disney+, highlights Bangkok, Samut Prakan, Nakhon Pathom, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phangnga, Krabi and Surat Thani provinces. Deputy government spokeswoman Sasikarn Watthanachan said the project brought big economic benefits, with an investment exceeding 2.8 billion baht -- the largest foreign film production budget ever in Thailand. The shoot created 24,787 jobs, including 13,942 in the film industry, from extras to lighting and sound crews, and 10,845 in related businesses such as car rental, hotels, and catering. The series underscores Thailand's diverse filming locations, skilled workforce, and world-class studios, she said, reinforcing the country's ambition to become a leading hub for international film production.
