7 Dead, 200 Injured in Iran's Assault on Israel
Taarek Refaat
A woman was killed and dozens were injured as Iranian missiles struck several locations in and around Tel Aviv on Sunday, in what marks a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel.
According to Israel's Channel 14, a woman was killed when a missile hit Bat Yam, a coastal city just south of Tel Aviv. Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene, but the victim succumbed to her injuries.
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that 20 people were injured in total, following direct hits on residential buildings in central Tel Aviv. Several of the wounded are said to be in critical condition.
The city of Rehovot, located south of Tel Aviv, also suffered heavy damage. The same report confirmed that four people sustained life-threatening injuries after a missile exploded in the area.
Meanwhile, Maariv newspaper reported that six sites in Tel Aviv were directly hit by Iranian missiles, causing substantial physical damage and sparking fires in multiple locations.
Rescue and emergency response teams have been deployed across several Israeli cities. Authorities are urging residents to remain in sheltered areas, as air raid sirens continue to sound intermittently amid concerns of further missile waves.
This comes amid broader reports of ongoing Iranian drone and missile attacks targeting multiple Israeli regions, including Haifa and the north, as part of a wider retaliatory campaign following recent regional tensions.

2 Police Officers Killed in Grenade Attack in Pakistan
Israa Farhan At least two Pakistani police officers were killed and another injured in a grenade attack targeting a police patrol vehicle in the volatile Balochistan province on Sunday. According to Geo News, unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade at a mobile police unit conducting a routine patrol in Dera Bugti, triggering a powerful explosion that left two officers dead at the scene and a third critically wounded. The attack comes just one day after a separate security incident in the Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where a rocket targeted the residence of Mubarak Zeb, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Tribal Affairs. Zeb escaped unharmed, though the incident has heightened fears of coordinated attacks on government officials. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the Bajaur attack and reaffirmed his government's commitment to eradicating terrorism and safeguarding both officials and citizens across the country. Security forces have since launched a search operation to locate the perpetrators of the Dera Bugti attack. Balochistan, Pakistan's largest but least populated province, has long been plagued by separatist violence, Islamist militancy, and tribal unrest, making it a hotspot for insurgent activity. The province's rugged terrain and porous borders often hinder counterterrorism efforts, prompting repeated calls for increased security measures. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean News 3 Killed in Shooting Attack in Thailand

Trump Considers Expanding Travel Ban to 36 More Countries
Israa Farhan Former US President Donald Trump is reportedly exploring a major expansion of the travel ban policy to include 36 new countries, according to a leaked memo reviewed by The Washington Post. The proposal comes as part of Trump's broader plan to impose stricter immigration controls if re-elected. The draft policy includes several US allies, as well as a large number of African, Caribbean, Asian, and Oceanian nations. Countries named include Nigeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Syria, Cambodia, and several small island states. The memo, signed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, gives targeted nations just 60 days to comply with new US Department of State standards or face potential visa and travel restrictions. Concerns raised include inadequate identity documentation systems, non-compliance with visa rules, and failure to repatriate deportees. However, the draft policy allows for possible exemptions if countries demonstrate readiness to cooperate with US repatriation demands or improve information-sharing practices. If enacted, this would represent one of the largest travel ban expansions in US history, reinforcing Trump's hardline stance on immigration. The State Department has not commented on the deliberations but confirmed that policy reviews remain ongoing to ensure national security and compliance with US immigration laws. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean News 3 Killed in Shooting Attack in Thailand

Israel Secretly Evacuates Civilian Aircraft
Israa Farhan Israel has moved all civilian aircraft out of the country amid escalating tensions with Iran, according to Israeli and international media reports. The operation was reportedly driven by concerns that Iran could launch retaliatory missile strikes targeting Israel's aviation fleet. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's aircraft was seen stationed in Athens shortly after Israel launched a major air assault on Iranian military and nuclear sites, including the Natanz facility and Revolutionary Guard installations in Tehran and Isfahan. Israeli Channel 13 and the Maariv newspaper revealed that national carriers, El Al, Arkia, Israir, and Air Haifa, were instructed late Thursday night to relocate all aircraft immediately to safe locations abroad, including airports in Cyprus, Greece, and the United States. Flight tracking site Flightradar24 showed Netanyahu's jet was quickly airborne after the attack, underscoring the high-alert status of Israel's leadership. The Shin Bet (Israel's internal security service) is reported to be coordinating with foreign governments to enhance security at international airports hosting Israeli aircraft. The prevailing view within Israeli defense circles is that Iran may attempt to strike Israel's air fleet as part of a broader retaliation strategy. Meanwhile, Channel 12 reported that about 50,000 Israeli nationals were stranded abroad following the closure of Israel's airspace, with estimates suggesting the number could exceed 80,000 by Sunday. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean News 3 Killed in Shooting Attack in Thailand
