On Sunday, June 1, news broke that the Kansas City Royals intended to call up star slugger Jac Caglianone from their AAA affiliate — the Omaha Storm Chasers.

As a minority owner of the Royals, Mahomes quickly responded to Caglianone's elevation on Twitter, leaning on a well-known clip from the hit television show The Office to convey his initial reaction:

Caglianone made a name for himself as a power hitter at the University of Florida in recent years and joined the Royals as a first-round pick in the 2024 MLB draft.
