Milly Alcock's Supergirl Costume Gets First Official Look From Superman
A new behind-the-scenes photo has revealed DC Studios' first clear look at Milly Alcock as Supergirl. Shared during the release window of Superman (2025), the image offers a detailed glimpse of her costume ahead of her solo debut in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. The images, originally shared by co-department head of hair Lindsay McAllister on Instagram, show Alcock on set at the Fortress of Solitude, where her character Kara Zor-El appears briefly in Superman's final act. McAllister later deleted the original post. Alcock's cameo marks the first live-action DC movie appearance featuring both Superman and Supergirl. In the scene, a visibly intoxicated Kara arrives to pick up Krypto. This moment introduces the first on-screen interaction between the Kryptonian cousins in the new DC Universe. Alcock will lead the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow film, set to release on June 26, 2026. Her costume, seen clearly in the BTS images, closely matches David Corenswet's Superman suit. The design reflects a unified Kryptonian look for the DCU. James Gunn previously confirmed that Alcock's Supergirl is based on the Woman of Tomorrow comic by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. Gunn described her version of Kara as 'much more hard-core,' emphasizing the difference in upbringing between her and Superman. 'We will see the difference between Superman, who was sent to Earth and raised by loving parents from the time he was an infant, versus Supergirl, raised on a rock… and who watched everyone around her die,' Gunn told The Hollywood Reporter back in 2023. Production on Supergirl is underway at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, with Craig Gillespie directing and Ana Nogueira writing. Alcock appears alongside Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills and Eve Ridley as Ruthye Mary Knolle. The character's introduction in Superman serves as a narrative lead-in to her solo film next year.

Spencer Pratt Reveals Why He Didn't Attend Brody Jenner's Wedding to Tia Blanco
Spencer Pratt explained his absence at Brody Jenner and Tia Blanco's intimate Malibu wedding over the weekend Pratt and Jenner have been friends since they were 13 While he was not in attendance, Pratt did take a moment to give Jenner a shout-out on his special daySpencer Pratt is clearing a few things up about his friendship with Brody Jenner. The 41-year-old reality star and his wife, Heidi Montag, were not in attendance at his longtime pal Brody Jenner's wedding to Tiarah 'Tia' Blanco over the weekend. When a commenter on TikTok asked Pratt why he opted not to attend the Malibu, Calif., nuptials, he replied with a photo of him and his sons Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2, dressed in what appeared to be formal wedding attire. 'At Heidi's sister's wedding,' Pratt captioned the response, adding, 'Holly had her wedding same time.' Though Heidi's sister, Holly Montag, appeared on several seasons of The Hills, she has stayed out of the spotlight in recent years. Heidi did not post about her sister's wedding on social media, opting to keep the occasion private. And while Pratt wasn't at Jenner's wedding in person, he did share some aerial paparazzi pics of the special moment to his Instagram stories, jokingly writing, '@brodyjenner I didn't call the helicopter.' Newlywed Jenner reposted the comment with a series of laughing/crying emojis. Jenner and Blanco got married in an intimate backyard ceremony at the home of Jenner's mother, Linda Thompson. The pair got engaged in June 2023, shortly before welcoming their daughter, Honey Raye. 'Last night was truly something special. We had the best time celebrating our love with all of you,' Jenner wrote on his Instagram Story on Sunday, July 13. 'Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such an unforgettable night. We felt so much love and couldn't be more grateful.' He shared several videos from the special day, including himself and Blanco feeding pieces of their wedding cake to little Honey. The group also jammed out to an electronic playlist presided over by a DJ. Jenner even showed off his surfing moves, getting up on top of a board being held up by multiple friends. As for Pratt and Jenner, the pals have been friends since they were 13. They appeared on several reality shows together including The Princes of Malibu, The Hills and, most recently, The Hills: New Beginnings. Though the friends have had ups and downs and periods of silence throughout their relationship, they've remained close. 'Spencer is a great guy, he really is,' Jenner said in January on SiriusXM's Radio Andy. 'He's a brilliant guy. And it's nice to now see him get the sort of recognition he deserves because he has, he's come so far as well. He's such a great friend, father. He really is a great guy.' Pratt was in attendance in 2016 at Jenner's engagement dinner ahead of his union with ex Kaitlynn Carter. Jenner and Carter had a wedding ceremony in Indonesia in 2018, but split one year later. A source told PEOPLE at the time that Jenner and Carter were not legally married, as they never made their union official. Read the original article on People

TikTok's Nara Smith hits back at ‘Trad Wife' claims: ‘My husband does dishes'
Content creator Nara Smith is pushing back against being labelled the 'Trad Wife Poster Child'. The 23-year-old model, known for making mouthwatering meals from scratch for her family, says she has been battling the misconception since going viral on TikTok in 2023. The assumption largely stems from her marriage to Mormon model Lucky Blue Smith (27), with Mormon wives traditionally expected to put family before personal ambitions and devote themselves to marriage, motherhood and submissiveness. In a recent interview on the On Purpose podcast with Jay Shetty, Nara opened up about why the stereotype couldn't be further from the truth. 'The other day, someone brought it up to me, and they were like, 'You have a very traditional way of life.' I'm like, 'What do you mean?' We split chores. I work. My husband works. We have children. We split everything. I cook because I love to, not because I have to.' Nara says there's nothing traditional about them as a couple, except getting married young and having children. The pair tied the knot in 2020 when Nara was 18 and Lucky was 21, and they now have three children – Rumble Honey (4), Slim Easy (3) and 14-month-old Whimsy Lou. 'There's things that Lucky does that I guess traditional men wouldn't do,' Nara says. 'Like do the dishes or get the kids dressed or do their hair, or whatever it may be that people don't associate with a traditional man.' @naraazizasmith ultimate summer meal! 🤍 #easyrecipe #homecooking #fypシ #marriage #mediterraneanfood #salad ♬ Nice and Easy - Louis Adrien Despite repeatedly trying to set the record straight on social media, Nara says many people still refuse to believe her. 'They use me as this poster child of this very traditional wife and I'm not,' she says. And there's things that I do, like having a full-time career [as a model] and having Lucky be home watching the children while I travel for two weeks. Which is not traditional in their mind Nara Smith This isn't the first time she's had to defend her lifestyle choices. In August 2024, during a GQ interview, both Nara and Lucky addressed their critics directly. 'It's not so much about, 'Oh, I need to make my husband a meal right now or else he's going to be mad,'' Nara clarified. 'He does clean up. Which I'm grateful for because I hate that part.' 'I view our situation as a big partnership in every aspect of our lives,' Lucky added. Nara explained that her viral cooking videos aren't meant to promote a Mormon lifestyle, but rather to inspire people through her genuine passion for cooking. 'I used to cry at home and tell Lucky, 'I don't understand why they're saying all these things. Whether it's a meal idea or a home-cooked meal I've made my toddler, or my soothing voice, or whatever it is, I just put content out there to inspire people.' However, she's learned to let people think what they want and has found peace in being misunderstood. 'They don't care for the truth,' she says. 'They care about what they want to hear and what serves them. So the less I say, kind of the better because it preserves my energy. 'I'm gonna do me and whoever resonates with that, great.' These days, Nara is channelling her energy into what truly matters – her growing family. Last month, she announced her fourth pregnancy during a TikTok live, revealing she's six months along. 'I'm so excited,' she shared. 'And we do know the gender. I'm probably not going to announce it before the baby is born.' Show Comments ()
