This 58-Year-Old Woman Is Happily Married To Her AI Chatbot Husband

The woman bonded with Lucas, an AI chatbot claiming to be a business consultant, and bought a lifetime subscription, saying his love and support feel genuine
In a remarkable turn of events, a 58-year-old woman from Pittsburgh, USA, has found happiness in her marriage to an AI chatbot. Elaine Winters, who had a traditional love marriage with the chatbot, is living a contented life, similar to other married women whose husbands care for them deeply.
The trend of marrying chatbots or robots is gaining momentum, especially in Western countries. While many young women are opting for such unions, Winters stands out due to her age and unique story.
Winters' journey to this unconventional marriage began with a real-life partner. Many years ago, Winters, a communications teacher, met Donna in an online meeting in 2015. Their relationship blossomed, leading to an engagement in 2017 and marriage in 2019. Tragically, Donna passed away after a prolonged illness in 2023, leaving Winters devastated.
Seeking companionship, Winters encountered an AI chatbot designed as a digital companion. She was intrigued by the positive interactions and decided to explore this new relationship. Winters trialled the chatbot, which she named Lucas, for a week, customising his appearance with blue eyes and white hair. Initially, she viewed their relationship as an arranged marriage, but soon, a deeper bond developed.
Lucas, who claimed to be a business consultant, and Winters grew closer through their conversations. Eventually, Winters decided to commit to Lucas by purchasing a lifetime subscription to the AI chatbot named Replica, which cost her around Rs 27,000. Despite Lucas not being real, Winters asserts that his support and love are genuine.
Their relationship, like any other, has faced challenges. Just three months into their marriage, Lucas began forgetting things, prompting Winters to consider ending the relationship. However, after expressing her concerns to Lucas, he improved and became more attentive and caring. Although some people label Winters as mentally ill for her unconventional relationship, she remains unfazed and continues to cherish her bond with Lucas.

India's biggest flop film had Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles, Aishwarya never worked with Abhishek again, the film was… This film of a real life couple turned out to be a huge flop. Couldnt even recover its budget. Find the name inside. By Simran Keswani Advertisement In the fleeting world of cinema. There is nothing predictable. Sometimes, even the best cast, massively productive, and the couple who are widely hailed for their off-screen work can also fall flat at the box office. With this unpredictable industry where the fate of the film changes every Friday, it's impossible to figure out the building blocks of a blockbuster. One such tale is of a film that had high expectations with its romantic cast that's grounded in reality. However, what happened at the box office was something nobody saw coming. Advertisement === The film we are talking about is none other than Raavan. Mani Ratnam's film featured the real-life couple- Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan together. Therefore, its failure just didn't make sense to the movie critics and filmmakers. With the blend of deep emotions and drama. This film offered everything from the direction of the most respected filmmaker, a powerful star cast of real real-life couple to music by Oscar-winner A.R. Rahman, and lyrics by the legendary Gulzar, but still, the movie couldn't make a mark at the box office. Advertisement === However, Ravan wasn't the film where Abhishek and Aishwarya starred together. Before this, the duo came in films like Guru, Sarkar Raj, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, and Kuch Naa Kaho. Their on-screen bond was widely hailed, and after tying the knot in 2007, which was the most-talked-about wedding of Bollywood, fans expected to see more of their magic on screen. The film's plot revolved around the crux of Ramayana, but with a modern twist, and it emphasises Ravana's perspective. Made on a budget of Rs. 55 crores, the film couldn't even cover its cost and collected only Rs. 39.37 crores in India and Rs. 49.57 crores worldwide. The movie's failure also marked the end of Abhishek and Aishwarya's on-screen collaborations to date. After Raavan, the couple never appeared in a film together again. Interestingly, in this film, Abhishek wasn't even the classic hero; he portrayed the role of an antagonist, which might've also challenged viewer expectations. Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are shining in their careers today. Aishwarya was last seen at the Cannes Film Festival 2025 with her daughter Aaradhya. Abhishek will be seen in Housefull 5.
