Simone Biles Makes Exciting Announcement on Friday
On Friday, Olympic legend Simone Biles took to her Instagram story to share two milestones.
One was her being on the way to Louisville for the 151st Kentucky Derby, and the other was that she finally caught sight of her inaugural restaurant, Taste of Gold.

The Kentucky Derby unfolds Saturday at Churchill Downs as a field of 19 3‑year‑old colts will chase the $5 million purse and the iconic garland of roses.
Standing before a mural of the American flag and the words 'Coming Soon, Simone Biles, Taste of Gold,' she captioned the snapshot, 'on my way to louisville for the kentucky derby... and I finally got to see my restaurant at the airport !!!!!!'

Biles' gymnastic resume needs little introduction.
With 11 Olympic medals, including seven golds, and 30 World Championship medals (23 gold), she is the most decorated gymnast in history and a four‑time Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year.

Last year, Biles was named Sports Illustrated's 2024 Sportsperson of the year after winning three gold medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Off the mat, Biles is branching into hospitality with Taste of Gold, a Tex‑Mex restaurant set to open this year in IAH's Terminal A near Gate A8.
Partnering with The Playmakers Group and chef Mark Brezinski, the venue promises a "five-star experience" in a gold‑infused setting that nods to her Olympic record.

Stephanie Case, 42, came in first place at a 100-kilometer race in Wales on May 17. 4 This woman is the definition of a supermom. The Canadian woman who lives in Chamonix, France, sat down at three different points during the Ultra-Trail Snowdonia in Eryri National Park to breastfeed her six-month-old daughter. It was her first race post-partum, according to NPR. After a three-year break from competing, three rounds of IVF and two miscarriages, she was excited to be back in the race with her baby by her side. And all that excitement must have hyped her up because she powered through faster than any of the other women on the course. 'Well that was a surprise,' Case wrote on Instagram. 'I WON?!?' The runner didn't know she'd placed first until after she'd crossed the finish line because she'd started the race 30 minutes after the first group of competitors. She got special permission to pause to breastfeed, on the one condition that she couldn't accept aid during the stops, so she did. 4 Case explained how she took many breaks to breastfeed her child in the midst of the race. Case's partner carried their baby to the 20-, 50- and 80-kilometer checkpoints and handed the little one over for a few minutes to feed. Mom would then kick it back into gear and continue running after her baby was fed. She paid more attention to her fuel intake and feeding schedule than to her time. 'During the race, I was taking in about 80 to 100 grams of carbohydrates an hour,' she told NPR. 'And I kept that up until about 65K, and then I had to pull back a bit because I was getting quite nauseous. And then I ramped it back up again and was kind of done at 95K.' 4 'Well that was a surprise,' Case wrote on Instagram. 'I WON?!?' Instagram/theultrarunnergirl 'That's when I started getting really nauseous.' And this Welsh course isn't a flat plain. 'It's not what you would think of as a typical running race,' Case noted. Snowdonia has 21,325 feet of elevation gain as runners have to traverse the highest mountain in Wales — Snowdon — known in Welsh as Yr Wyddfa. 'Really it's almost like scrambling or climbing, where you're going up kind of a vertical wall of rock,' Case said. Yet, she finished the race in just over 16 hours and 53 minutes — beating the other 60-something females. Her time was four minutes faster than the runner-up's. 'It was meant to be my warmup to Hardrock,' Case posted on Instagram, referencing the July 11 Hardrock Hundred Mile Endurance Run in Colorado. That course is 102.5 miles in length, with 33,000 feet of climb. Warm up or not, Case acknowledges how difficult the race she won was. 'I don't want anyone to feel badly about themselves out of a story like this. I'm quite open about how hard it is and how much support I have, and the messy parts of it,' Case told the Guardian. 'At 95k, I was done, dry heaving and peeing all over myself. I ran with devices internally. It's not all rainbows and bunnies and a lot of things have to come together for something like that to happen.' CeeDee Lamb set to catch multiple Cowboys WR legends in 2025 CeeDee Lamb is poised to make 2025 a big year. His numbers were down last season after a stellar 2023, but that can be chalked up to a series of unfortunate events: the midseason loss of Dak Prescott, his own shoulder injury that he tried to play through and then lost two games to, and a lack of receiving threats around him that might have spread defenses thinner. Now healthy, with his starting quarterback returning, and in a new-look offense with George Pickens opposite him and Brian Schottenheimer's first-year staff eager to put their stamp on things, Lamb is eyeing a return to statistical form. He's also set to climb the charts in terms of Cowboys franchise history. Lamb is already, after just five seasons, the team's No. 7 all-time receiver in yards. And while Jason Witten and Michael Irvin's places atop the rankings are secure for several more years, the legends occupying the four spots in front of Lamb are all within his reach this season. Here's a look at the Cowboys greats who Lamb could be catching before 2025 wraps up. 6. Bob Hayes: 7,295 yards "The World's Fastest Human" was already an Olympic gold medalist by the time he joined the Cowboys in 1965. Over 10 seasons, the unprecedented speed he brought to the wide receiver position literally changed the way secondaries played the game, necessitating the invention of zone defense. "Bullet Bob" was the Cowboys' all-time touchdowns reception leader for over four decades and is in the team's Ring of Honor. Lamb will overtake Hayes for the No. 6 spot on the franchise's all-time receiving list with 957 more yards. That seems like a near-lock to happen in 2025; Lamb hasn't turned in a season with less than that since his rookie year. (And even then, he logged 935.) 5. Dez Bryant: 7,459 yards Bryant's dynamic career was cut short by injuries after leaving Dallas prior to the 2018 season, but the three-time Pro Bowler did enough over eight years as a Cowboy to land in the league's all-time Top 150 in receiving yards. He has been the franchise's career touchdown receptions leader since 2017. Lamb will need 1,121 yards to pass Bryant for the No. 5 spot on the Cowboys' all-time list. Recent history suggests he has a good chance; he's surpassed that total in each of the last three seasons. 4. Drew Pearson: 7,822 yards An undrafted receiver out of Tulsa, Pearson went on to earn three first-team All-Pro nods, three Pro Bowl berths, and a Super Bowl ring en route to a place in the Ring of Honor and an eventual Hall of Fame enshrinement. Though he recorded just two 1,000-yard campaigns over an 11-year career, Pearson finished with over 7,800 receiving yards. Lamb will catch him with 1,483 yards, and he'll claim the franchise's No. 3 all-time spot with one yard more. 3. Tony Hill: 7,988 yards He's often a forgotten man when talking about the great pass-catchers in Cowboys history, but Hill played on two Super Bowl squads, won a ring as a rookie, led the team in both catches and yards nine years in a row, and earned three trips to the Pro Bowl. Coach Tom Landry once singled him out as Dallas's "home-run hitter" and said, "I've never seen a guy who could adjust to a ball in mid-air like Tony." He's currently third on the team's all-time receiving list, but Lamb will pass him for that slot with 1,650 more yards. That could be a tall order, even for Lamb; he has topped that mark just once, in 2023. How many yards will Lamb post in 2025? Barring a serious turn of events, Lamb looks to climb the ranks of the Cowboys' all-time receiving yards leaders in 2025. But it likely won't happen until later in the season. Could he move into the No. 6 spot before the Week 10 bye? Maybe. Back in 2023, Lamb did have a nine-game run where he tallied over 1,000 yards, but that stretch included three of Lamb's best four games ever, and five of his top 15. That's the kind of effort it would take once again to pass Hayes before the bye. Also playing a factor will be George Pickens. While his addition to the lineup will take some double-teams off Lamb and conceivably lead to more big-game opportunities for him, Pickens is another talented mouth who will need to be fed. How Brian Schottenheimer and Dak Prescott choose to distribute the ball will be huge in determining whether Lamb's numbers go up or down overall when the game plan doesn't have to run through him as the offense's only legitimate weapon. Donald Trump's Pardon For NBA YoungBoy Could Be In Jeopardy
Hip-Hop fans were elated when Donald Trump chose to pardon YoungBoy Never Broke Again's probation sentence for gun charges. However, Utah lawmakers didn't share that excitement and may look to fight against the decision. 'We are extremely proud of the work our investigator and prosecutors did on this case, as well as grateful for all the help we received from other local and federal agencies,' Cache County attorney Taylor Sorensen and Sheriff D. Chad Jensen wrote in a joint statement to KUTV. 'Mr. Gaulden [YB] pled guilty to the charges in this investigation, and we feel strongly the Justice System in Cache County is far from a 'weaponized system of justice.' We have highly trained, honest, experienced and professional sheriff's investigators and county prosecutors, along with respected District Court Judges and Defense Attorneys.' Trevor Lee, a member of the Utah House District 16, supported his perspective on X. 'As a state we should still go after him,' he wrote in a now-deleted tweet. It is unclear whether Utah lawmakers will be successful, but it is clear where they stand on YoungBoy Never Broke Again. The Baton Rouge, La. rapper had been living in the state for a few years now while serving his house arrest sentence. Last year, he pleaded guilty to felonious gun possession charges and was sentenced to 23 months in prison, five years of probation, and had to pay $200,000 for a separate gun charge. This past March, he was released from prison and credited for time served, allowing him to return to home confinement, which he completed in April. Donald Trump's pardon eliminated his probation sentence and he expressed his gratitude via social media. 'I want to thank President Trump for granting me a pardon and giving me the opportunity to keep building — as a man, as a father, and as an artist,' he wrote on Instagram.
