Only Fools and Horses script reveals lost scene from 1996
The Heroes & Villains Christmas Special from 1996 featuring the iconic scenes of Del Boy and Rodney dressed up as Batman and Robin was once voted the UK's favourite festive show of all time.
The pair, played by David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst, dress up as the cartoon characters for a fancy dress party and inadvertently thwart a mugging on route.
But now, an extended scene has been discovered nearly 30 years on, thanks to a script that belonged to the late Roger Lloyd Pack who played Trigger.
Only Fools and Horses – Heroes & Villains extended scene
It appears that Del and Rodney's antics as Batman and Robin continued to cause chaos.
The script revealed that the extended scene shows Del later chasing down a mugger and knocking him unconscious with his suitcase full of hooky gear.
The Sun reports that in the cut scene, it is scripted that a policeman then arrives and Del tells him "It's alright officer, I caught him, he's over there!"
But the policeman then walks over to the two men and arrests Rodney instead of the mugger.
The 155-page script is set to go up for sale at Bristol-based Auctioneum.
Auctioneer Andy Stowe described it as "comedy history, in black and white."
Speaking to The Sun, Only Fools fan Mr Stowe said he had started to find lines that he didn't recognise while reading through the script.
Another scene that never made it into the episode involves Del and Rodney rushing out of their flat just as a consignment of dodgy alarm clocks go off.
They go to Del's Capri Ghia to find the group of muggers loitering around it but they are scared off as Del and Rodney arrive to the noise of the alarms going off in the background.
Who did Sheree Murphy play in Only Fools and Horses?
One of the muggers was played by actress-turned-presenter Sheree Murphy, who later went on to become a household name as fan favourite Tricia Dingle in Emmerdale.
It was Sheree's first TV appearance as a small but notable part as the mugger, two years before she got the role in Emmerdale.
The script has been signed by other members of the cast including David Jason himself and the late John Challis, who played Boycie.

The Sun reports that the vendor is a private collector who acquired the script from the Only Fools & Horses Society.
The script is estimated to sell for between £2,000 and £3,000. Roger Lloyd Pack had also marked his lines with black ink.
The sale takes place on June 30.

Emmy award-winning TV producer swaps the control room for stand-up in Edinburgh debut
Britt Migs brings her sharp-witted, deeply personal show 'Dolphin Mode' to the Fringe following sold-out US run. Sign up to our daily newsletter Sign up Thank you for signing up! She's won an Emmy for her work behind the scenes in American television – but this August, Britt Migs is stepping into the spotlight with the UK debut of her hit comedy show Dolphin Mode, running at Underbelly's brand-new Buttercup venue in George Square from July 30 to August 24 (not 11th). A seasoned New York-based TV and digital producer, Migs is best known Stateside for her work on award-winning broadcast and digital content. Now, she's bringing a far more personal story to Edinburgh: a blisteringly funny hour chronicling the collapse of her marriage, her bisexual awakening, and the absurd world of post-divorce dating. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The show, which premiered to a sold-out audience at Caveat in New York before selling out again during the New York Comedy Festival and at the Knockouts Comedy Festival this year, is part stand-up, part confessional – and wholly unfiltered. Britt Migs It all started on one fateful Super Bowl weekend. On the Friday, Migs lost her job. By Sunday, she was getting divorced. 'My ex-husband was extorted by a sex bot on Instagram,' she says, still stunned. 'He sent it a $700 iTunes gift card. That was when I knew I had to write a show.' The comedy that followed is both outrageous and relatable – a rollercoaster of heartbreak, online scammers, dismal dating apps, and self-discovery. With biting humour and emotional candour, Migs also unpacks the reality of coming out in her 30s, navigating queer relationships, and leaving behind the life she thought she was supposed to want. 'It turns out I wasn't just straight and sad,' she laughs. 'I was closeted and angry.' Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Though new to the UK comedy scene, Migs is no stranger to a live audience. She regularly hosts Sunday Sauce, a popular bi-monthly stand-up show at Union Hall in Brooklyn, and her sharp writing has appeared in Reductress, Slackjaw, and FlexxMag. Her sketches have been featured on Cracked's digital platforms. But it's this deeply personal shift – from award-winning producer to stand-up storyteller – that marks a new chapter for the New Yorker. 'Comedy saved me,' she says. 'I got divorced, came out, shaved my entire body smooth like a dolphin for a date who ghosted me, and somehow ended up here. Edinburgh feels like the right place to tell this story.' If Dolphin Mode is anything like her track record, it's one not to miss.

I was spoiled as a child but neglected emotionally by my partying Emmerdale star mum, claims Mia Winward
Mia - who makes £100k a month stripping off - has revealed the details of her childhood DARK SECRET I was spoiled as a child but neglected emotionally by my partying Emmerdale star mum, claims Mia Winward Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SITTING by the pool in her luxury Mexican villa, Mia Winward is the envy of hoards of young women her age. But as I speak to the 20-year-old Brit model this week she breaks down in tears. 8 Mia Winward has opened up to The Sun about her childhood as the daughter a soap star Sammy Winward Credit: Instagram 8 She has described growing up with mum Sammy - pictured here in 2004 Credit: News Group Newspapers Ltd 8 The pair are sadly no longer on speaking terms after an explosive fallout Credit: Getty It's the start of what turns out to be a bombshell chat, where Mia claims for the first time that she was emotionally mistreated by her famous parents. Through tears she tells The Sun: 'I was raised by a 19-year-old soap star... I may have been spoiled materially, but I was definitely neglected emotionally. "I often felt lonely, picked on and controlled - about what I wore, what I said in public and most of all unsupported. "At times her choices - like boyfriends - left me feeling scared and sometimes it felt like too much pressure was placed on my shoulders." Mia's claims come after her famous parents Emmerdale star Sammy Winward, 39, and former footballer David Dunn, 45, cut her out of their lives last year after the then-teenager joined controversial adult site OnlyFans. The blonde star - who claims to make up to £100k a month - says they now refuse to pick up her calls. Its something Mia finds hypocritical as her mum Sammy was a mags lad favourite back in her heyday and often appeared topless - posing for shots just like Mia. 'I may have been spoiled materialistically, but I was definitely neglected emotionally.' Mia Winward 'My mum was doing pretty much the exact same thing like I'm doing, her version of it, back in her day. 'I just think how, how can you not be accepting? You were younger than me when you stripped off sand now you've completely blocked me out of your life." 'I saw her for 10 minutes a day' Mia was just a baby when her mum, Sammy, was at the height of her fame playing Katie Sugden on the ITV soap. Her earliest memories with her mum are sparse. Her dad - the footy star David - split from Sammy shortly after Mia was born. 'When she was working, I would see her for maybe 10 minutes a day," Mia says. "I'd be asleep when she got back from work and would see her briefly in the mornings and then she'd have to go.' Sammy Winward's daughter Mia Dunn reveals she's raked in £60k a month on OnlyFans amid feud with Emmerdale star mum Mia says as a result of her mum's schedule she was raised by her gran, telling us: 'My grandma literally gave up her entire life for me, got a flat in Leeds, near the Emmerdale set, just to take me on to set for my mum to breastfeed. 'My mum was often out partying when I was younger, leaving me with my grandma, which I was always happy to go to because my grandma is one of people who really raised me.' She added: "My mum wasn't there for me. She didn't support me." Sammy split from Mia's dad - Blackburn Rovers footballer David - shortly after she was born, which meant Mia met a number of the actress's new partners over the years. One sticks out in her mind who Mia recalls being very cruel to her. 8 Mia has said her mum was like a friend rather than a mother growing up Credit: sammy_winward1/Instagram 8 Sammy and footballer David Dunn - Mia's dad Credit: Getty 8 Mia's parents have struggled with her decision to do OnlyFans Credit: Instagram 'She had new boyfriends when I was younger, one in particular, who would yell at me about four or five years old just for coming into the bedroom when I had a nightmare,' she remembers. 'Bear in mind, I used to sleep in my mum's bed because she was a single mother and I got scared as a child in the dark.' According to Mia, things didn't get much easier as she became older. She told us: "My mum made me pay for petrol for her car to get to my course and I was making £5 an hour as a trainee hair stylist at this point. It was really tough." 'When she was working, I would see her maybe 10 minutes a day." Mia on mum Sammy Winward At 16, Mia says she had had enough of feeling like she was being controlled, told what she can and can't wear and not receiving the guidance she craved, so she made the decision to move in with her dad, who she'd had a rocky relationship with for several years. Putting aside any hard feelings towards her father, who is now married to new wife Hayley with whom he shares three children, Mia tells The Sun: 'He was really young when I was born, and he messed up because he was younger. 'I understand that so much because I've put myself in his shoes and he really did help install a work ethic in me and I'll always appreciate him for taking me in. I was really touched." During her earlier years, Mia has claimed she struggled to keep in touch with her dad and has accused him of not making enough effort to see her or even talk to her. 8 Mia is now making some serious money modelling Credit: Instagram 8 Sammy with her now husband Martyn Hardy But everything changed with her dad too when she started making adult content. Just a few months ago she claims her father cruelly branded her a 'w***e' and slammed the phone down on her when she attempted to reconnect with him. She fled the UK towards the end of last year and has been living in various countries - including Mexico and Canada - making adult content. Mia has just bought her first property in Mexico. She initially tried to distance herself from her well-known parents, opting to ditch her surname. ' I don't profit off of their name', she insists. Mia may be known as Mia Winward in the press, but goes by Mia Rose online. The Sun first told last year how Sammy, who is famed for playing Katie Sugden from 2001 to 2015 and is still a jobing actress, refused to speak to her daughter when she discovered she was on OnlyFans. Mia's dad — former Blackburn footballer David — also distanced himself at the same time. Mia was initially hopefully they could make it up, but over time the distance has become unbearable. She says her latest attempt to contact her mum just a few days ago was unsuccessful and Mia feels she has reached the end of the line. 'People online see me as spoiled and I'm not denying that I was materialistically spoiled but I won't have people say I'm a spoiled brat when no one knows that I was emotionally neglected," she says. Sammy has declined to comment.

Stereophonics star Kelly Jones ditches junk food and alcohol from tour rider
Stereophonics star Kelly Jones ditches junk food and alcohol from tour rider The Stereophonics frontman has confessed that he opts for healthier snacks backstage in order to make sure that his jeans still fit him Stereophonics will be playing in the UK this year. (Image: GETTY ) Kelly Jones no longer has junk food and alcohol in his tour rider. The Stereophonics frontman has confessed that he opts for healthier snacks backstage in order to make sure that his jeans still fit him. Speaking to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column ahead of Stereophonics' headline slot at the Isle of Wight festival this weekend, Kelly said: "The Nineties were crazy – a totally different social situation. It's like another planet now. "I think there are some things on our rider that are still the same as back then – because nobody has bothered to change it. "There's always beer and wine. It used to be 12 boxes of pizza and a crate of lager. But when your jeans stop fitting you, you've got to get that right – those requests don't work at 50!" The Dakota artist revealed that the rockers now have gym equipment and organic food ready for them when they come off stage. Article continues below Kelly explained: "Let's say the takeaway order at the end of the night is a little more extravagant and healthier these days. "Now there's more gym gear backstage – that was definitely not there in the Nineties. "Like a weight bench and stuff. It sits there – it gathers clothes a lot. "We all still travel on the bus together, we all still go out for dinner together, we go for a drink after together. "Thankfully, we all get on – not every band does – and we've had the same crew for 25 years, so it's a family-orientated vibe." Meanwhile, Kelly revealed earlier this year that he turned down the chance to see a Stereophonics tribute band who have a lead singer called "Belly Jones". The Welsh rocker describes it as a privilege when people cover the band's music but chose not to attend a working men's club in his homeland to watch the tribute act over Easter. The 51-year-old musician told The Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio in April: "I wake up on Sunday mornings, and people send me clips of people at weddings and bars and pubs singing my stuff a lot. "And when I went home for Easter this weekend to see my family in Wales, my cousin said, 'Do you want to come up to the working man's club?' I said, 'Why? What's happening? And she said, 'There's a Stereophonics tribute band playing.'" Article continues below He continued: "I think the singer, he's a big guy, he's called Belly Jones. So I said, 'No'. My missus was like, 'No, let's go.' Take the kids, have a good night."
