Ioan Gruffudd and Bianca Wallace tie the knot after ugly Alice Evans divorce
Ioan Gruffudd and Bianca Wallace have tied the knot.
The pair took to Instagram with some grainy footage of their big day, which was had by the coast, and announced: 'Mr & Mrs Gruffudd 💘Marriage now, wedding later.'
Welsh actor Gruffudd, 51, and Australian actor Wallace, 32, went official with their relationship in October 2021 after he filed a divorce from The Christmas Carol actor Alice Evans and a bitter custody battle ensued that's still ongoing today.
Wallace wore a silky haterneck wedding dress, while Gruffudd sported a formal suit. It appears the low-key day could be followed by a bigger celebration, as indicated by the couple's post.
On announcing their engagement in January 2024, Wallace took to Instagram with a picture of her wearing an emerald ring.
She captioned the post: 'The most precious thing happened…' alongside a heart and ring emoji.
Gruffudd and his ex-wife Evans – who met on the set of 102 Dalmations in 2000 – finalised their divorce in July 2023 after 14 years together, in which time they welcomed daughters Ella and Elsie in 2009 and 2013.
But the pair are still locked in ugly legal proceedings years on.
January 2021: Their separation is announced, with Evans bluntly taking to social media to say: 'Sad news. My beloved husband/soulmate of 20 years, Ioan Gruffudd, has announced he is to leave his family, starting next week. Me and our young daughters are very confused and sad. We haven't been given a reason except that he 'no longer loves me'. I'm so sorry.'
They later released a joint statement saying they were going through 'an incredibly difficult time for our family' but remained committed to their children.
October 2021: Gruffudd goes Instagram official with Wallace
February 2022: Gruffudd files restraining order against Evans. As per multiple US news reports, Gruffudd alleged in court filings that Evans repeatedly told him between August 2020 and 1 January 2021 that 'if I left her, she would make false public accusations about me, sell false stories about me to the press, and destroy me and my career' including accusing him of child and domestic abuse.
He also claimed she made social media posts targeting him and left him 'hundreds' of 'abusive' messages.
Evans denied all his accusations, saying his complaint was 'a ploy to gain some sort of advantage over me in our divorce proceedings'.
June 2022: Evans launched a GoFundMe page after saying she'd run out of money due to paying for her girls and divorce lawyers. Gruffudd accused Evans of 'exaggerating' her money struggles.
August 2022: Gruffudd was granted a three-year restraining order against Evans. It also banned her from mentioning him on social media, after he claimed Evans used online platforms to 'harass, threaten' and 'disturb' his peace. The order is reported to expire on August 2, 2025.
June 2023: The couple's daughter Ella filed an application for a restraining order against Gruffudd and Wallace, but it was later denied. Gruffudd blamed the move on Evans, branding her a 'child abuser' and claiming she interfered with the girls going to therapy. Evans denied abusing or harming her daughters.
October 2024: Court documents revealed, as per People, Gruffudd was ordered to pay Evans £3,000 a month in temporary child support and $1,500 a month in temporary spousal support to Evans, with a more permanent arrangement still to be made.
February 2025: Evans says she's being evicted from her LA home after being 'unable to pay her rent'.
Last year, Ioan accused Evans of violating a restraining order by allegedly posting about him on social media, violating a DVRO (domestic violence restraining order] and breaching the terms of their custody agreement.
In paperwork filed at Los Angeles Superior Court – obtained by DailyMail.com – Gruffudd alleged: 'I have discovered several social media posts by Alice where she has openly disparaged me and my fiancee, and where she has posted medical information of our children, in continued violation of the DVRO [domestic violence restraining order] and in violation of our Stipulation [agreement about child custody].
'Alice's public harassment affects my public reputation and my ability to obtain new work.'
The actor's legal team cited alleged examples including Evan's seeming contribution to a discussion on social media which encouraged users to share 'common misconceptions about family court you wish you had understood better'.
Evans is alleged to have written: 'That you can hand out a DVRO for 'mean text messages' but when actual violence happens, no DVRO because it's 'hard to prove…
'That my ex could just make up a bunch of lies about our 20-year relationship, say it was abusive and that I abused the kids and that the court (and BOTH sets of lawyers at the time) would just believe him. Despite copious evidence in the form of his own words in post interviews to the contrary.'
Gruffudd's team also shared another example of a social media post which alleged Evans had complained about having to pay hundreds of dollars for medicine for one of their daughters when she was sick. More Trending
The posts were allegedly made during September 2024. Evans has previously insisted she no longer complains about her ex online.
In a court filing at the start of September, she submitted a sworn statement in which she declared: 'I have not engaged in that conduct for years. Ioan's allegations that I continued to post to social media using fake accounts was addressed by the police and found to be completely false.
'I sincerely hope that, at least for the sake of our children who have been dealing with this for four years now, Ioan can accept my apology and we can move on to the actual issues that remain to be settled.'

Love Island legend shares dirty villa bathroom secrets girls had to go through
EXCLUSIVE: Love Island alumni Malin Andersson is not a fan of the current series and has shared a few behind-the-scenes secrets from her time on the ITV2 dating show Love Island alum Malin Andersson, who appeared on the show back in 2016 for their second series, is not holding back when it comes to her thoughts on the current series. Now 32, the body positivity campaigner and mental health advocate says she watches the new Islanders with a very different lens. 'I'm 32 so I'm a similar age to them on there,' she says, 'but I can see through it all completely now.' Malin, who famously left the villa after being dumped on day 25 has since distanced herself from the Love Island world. 'I don't talk to any Islanders at all,' she admits. 'The girls lower their bar because of the show and that's what makes it toxic. They're not understanding their worth.' She's also not afraid to share some unfiltered behind-the-scenes secrets. 'I was constipated at one point in the villa because I held it in for ages,' she laughs. ' Olivia Buckland [now Bowen] did the same. We used to go on poo watch and made sure no guys were near the toilet. One of us would guard, and Cara De La Hoyde [now Massey] helped.' Though she doesn't stay in touch with former castmates, Malin clearly remembers the realities behind the glam – and wants this year's Islanders to remember their value. 'It's easy to get lost in the show,' she says. 'But you've got to know your worth.' Last week, Malin spoke out about hitting "rock bottom" after her time on the ITV2 dating show and called for it to be axed. "Love Island. It starts tonight...I'm quite shocked this show is still on air to be honest," she said in an emotional statement on her Instagram Stories. "I was on it 8 years ago, and in that 8 years I've turned pain into purpose and used my platform for good. Within the 8 years that have passed I've had to hit rockbottom to find a strength I never knew I had - and awaken to the truth of who we are. "However what young Malin didn't know was, how dangerous a show like this is - portraying toxicity as love, unrealistic body standards and women who maybe broken inside but wanting love for the wrong reasons - and thinking fame will save them.. and as for the men - similar things." Malin added that she wants a show that helps contestants"find love for ourselves first" before finding it in someone else. She added: "We don't need a show making women especially feel bad about themselves - or fuelling eating disorders. That's outdated now. It's not it." ITV has introduced extensive duty of care procedures during the show's run, with contestants being offered comprehensive psychological support before, during and after filming on the show. They are also asked to pause any posting to their social media accounts while they're on the show and to complete video training and guidance on language around disability, sexuality, race and ethnicity, microaggressions, mutually respectful behaviour in relationships and behaviour patterns associated with controlling and coercing behaviour. The new series of Love Island began last week with a new line-up of singles stepping into the ITV2 villa and there has already been two shock dumpings and six bombshells.

Laura Anderson makes brutal Father's Day dig at ex Gary Lucy
Laura Anderson has taking a very public swipe at her ex, Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy Laura Anderson has taken a savage swipe at her ex Gary Lucy, who she shares her one-year-old daughter Bonnie with. Yesterday on Sunday (June 15) millions of dads across the UK were celebrated on Father's Day. However, many others find the day to be a difficult one for numerous reasons and the Love Island star sadly appeared to fall into that bracket over the weekend. Taking to her Instagram stories to share an obvious dig at Bonnie's dad, she uploaded a short clip of her giving the camera a sarcastic thumbs up, as she wrote: "Cheers to the single mums who feel sh*t for their kids on Father's Day." The former Capital Scotland host welcomed Bonnie in September 2023. Laura and Gary, who met on Celebs Go Dating, had a tumultuous relationship and shocked fans when they announced their split just days after Laura revealed she was pregnant. The former couple have had an off and off relationship since but it appears they are now officially on bad terms with Laura even branding Gary, who has four other children with his ex-wife, as a "deadbeat dad". Gary appeared to reignite his feud with the Love Island star after warning that "dads matter". The 43 year old made the veiled dig while sharing a throwback video of himself and his son Theodore, six. Gary was filmed in a restaurant beside Theodore and they could be seen giggling about "spicy" food together. The actor then gently grabbed his son's cheeks and said: "Look at that face, that gorgeous face.." The clip finished with Gary giving Theodore a kiss. Gary shared the video on Instagram but also seemed to have taken a swipe at Laura in the process. Laura has not held back in the past when it comes to taking aim at Gary over how often he sees their daughter. Reigniting the row, he captioned the footage: "Good enough to eat … Gorgeous Boy #dadsmatter." Picking up on the subtle dig, one follower replied: "Thought you had a girl with Laura..?" Laura has since moved on with her new Scots boyfriend, Clark Robertson, who plays for Dundee Football Club. The Love Island star went public with her new beau, who originally hails from Aberdeen, in October last year and is said to be hopeful he is the one. Clark, 31, has two children of his own, his eight-year-old son Cole and a five-year-old daughter named Mimi, who he shares with his ex fiancé Karla Ray. Laura and Bonnie recently moved into a luxurious new mansion which boasts an enormous garden and gorgeous coastal views. The reality star gave fans a walk through tour of her new pad but she has been careful to keep the exact location of it under wraps. It is also not known whether or not Clark has officially moved in with the mum and daughter but Laura definitely has the space to accommodate him in the future in her huge new home.

Bruce Willis dementia update as daughter Rumer says 'I have a pain in my heart'
Die Hard star Bruce Willis' daughter, Rumer, paid tribute to her dad on Father's Day following his heartbreaking dementia diagnosis in 2023, which left his legion of loyal fans in shock Bruce Willis' eldest daughter, Rumer, admitted she had a 'deep ache in her chest' as she paid tribute to her dad on Father's Day. The Die Hard star, 70, is being cared for by his family after his devastating dementia diagnosis in February 2023, which left his legion of loyal fans in shock. Rumer often posts snaps of her dad, who she adores, on Instagram, and on Sunday told Bruce she felt "lucky" that he was her father. However, sharing a montage of photos of the pair, including a recent black and white image in which she hugs the actor tightly, she admitted she wished she'd asked the star "more questions" about his "successes and struggles" while she could. Captioning the post, she wrote: "Today is hard, I feel a deep ache in my chest to talk to you and tell you everything I'm doing and what's going on in my life. To hug you and ask you about life and your stories and struggles and successes. I wish I asked you more questions while you could still tell me about it all." Rumer continued: "But I know you wouldn't want me to be sad today so I'll try to just be grateful reminding myself how lucky I am that you're my dad and that you're still with me and I can still hold you and hug you and kiss your cheek and rub your head I can tell you stories." Revealing Bruce's close bond with her daughter, Louetta, the mum-of-one concluded: "I can watch the way your eyes light up when you see Louetta I will be grateful for every moment I have with you. I love you so much dad, happy Father's Day. Sending love to all those who are in the boat with me or have lost their fathers." Hollywood A-lister, Bruce, is known for his iconic action-packed roles in movies such as Die Hard, Red and Glass. However, the star's life is very different now after stepping away from the spotlight. Towards the end of his career, he was due to star in one of his last action roles, Out Of Death. The star had a huge part in the film, however it was suddenly made smaller, with director, Mike Burns, writing in an email to the screenwriter: "We need to abbreviate his dialogue a bit so that there are no monologues, etc." We now know Bruce had been diagnosed with aphasia, with the then 67-year-old's family later revealing the star would be retiring from acting. The cognitive disorder affects a person's ability to speak, understand, read and write. The following year, in February 2023, it was confirmed that Bruce's condition had progressed and that he had a definitive diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia, aka FTD. FTD is a progressive brain disease, which causes parts of the brain to stop working and deteriorate over time. Depending on where it starts in the brain, the condition affects behaviour as well as the ability to speak and understand others. In an October 2024 interview with Town & Country, Bruce's wife, Emma Heming Willis, revealed that her husband's language had changed. However, the actor had a childhood stutter and Emma initially assumed the sudden changes in his speech were to do with that. 'As his language started changing, it (seemed like it) was just a part of a stutter, it was just Bruce. Never in a million years would I think it would be a form of dementia for someone so young,' she said. Adding that she didn't know if Bruce was aware of his condition or not, Emma, who recently posted a video supporting National Caregivers Day, said: 'I say that FTD whispers, it doesn't shout. It's hard for me to say, 'This is where Bruce ended, and this is where his disease started to take over''. Meanwhile, Bruce's youngest daughter Talullah heartbreakingly revealed that her dad finds it so difficult to communicate, she knew he would never be able to make a Father of the Bride speech at her wedding. Opening up about the painful revelation, Tallulah said the family initially thought Bruce's behaviour was down to hearing loss from all the explosions on the set of Die Hard before telling Vogue magazine: 'Later that unresponsiveness broadened, and I sometimes took it personally. He had had two babies with my stepmother, Emma Heming Willis, and I thought he'd lost interest in me." Tallulah finally realised her father's health was declining when she was at a wedding and the father of the bride gave a heartfelt speech. She shared: "Suddenly I realised that I would never get that moment, my dad speaking about me in adulthood at my wedding. It was devastating,' she recalled. 'I left the dinner table, stepped outside, and wept in the bushes.'
