Ahmed Emam Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, has announced the launch of the 8th edition of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2025), held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The event, running from February 17 to 19, carries the theme "Building a Secure and Sustainable Energy Future." A key highlight of this year's edition is the participation of Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, who will attend at the invitation of President El-Sisi. During the event, Egypt and Cyprus are set to sign significant agreements aimed at strengthening regional cooperation in the natural gas sector. These agreements align with Egypt's strategic role as a regional energy hub, leveraging its infrastructure to process and export Cypriot gas, generating economic benefits for both nations and global energy investors. Speaking at a press conference at the ministry's headquarters in Egypt's New Administrative Capital, Minister Badawi emphasized the unique nature of this year's event.
