The event, running from February 17 to 19, carries the theme "Building a Secure and Sustainable Energy Future." A key highlight of this year's edition is the participation of Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, who will attend at the invitation of President El-Sisi. During the event, Egypt and Cyprus are set to sign significant agreements aimed at strengthening regional cooperation in the natural gas sector. These agreements align with Egypt's strategic role as a regional energy hub, leveraging its infrastructure to process and export Cypriot gas, generating economic benefits for both nations and global energy investors. Speaking at a press conference at the ministry's headquarters in Egypt's New Administrative Capital, Minister Badawi emphasized the unique nature of this year's event. He highlighted the increased participation of various government ministries, showcasing the integrated approach between Egypt's petroleum and electricity sectors. A key feature of the conference will be a high-level roundtable discussion chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly on the second day of the event.
